Weather Forecast: Radar, MoonView

(Jan 4, 2020, Review Update) Full screen loud ad's that you can't back out of and have to hit the home button to clear the screen; this is what I was grated with today. After that I cleared the app from the history and reopened it and more of the same. DELETED APP!!! (Original Review) I've been enjoying this weather app for about a month. I like the layout and the look of it. My only complaint is I haven't found a way to adjust the temperature for the day so it isn't as cold out. 😁

Excellent app. This has been the best one thus far. I get real time temps, forecasts, advisories, pollen count, etc. Every place I visit, it gives me current weather conditions. And I'm okay with the ads. I also enjoy weather news and news from around the world plus when I travel I get up to the minute foecasts wherever I go. Valuable. Still loving this app. Most accurate weather reports.

Unfortunately I have to take back my comments. This app. has now gone to the other end of the scale. The excellent maps for precipitation, wind, temperature etc. have been replaced with a all but useless set with no keys, no wind arrows and generally much less detail. I'm guessing the developer no longer wishes to pay to embed that information and is using a far inferior source of information. Once again I'll need to look elsewhere, and just when I'd paid good money for the Pro version!!

Just another example on how an accurate and highly customizable app can be FUBAR. You removed the weather dependent coloring, the best option a weather app can offer as a visual improvement for weather conditions at-a-glance. One who doesn't know what the orinal app did and looked like may be more forgiving but by comparison yours doesn't even deserve 1 star.

Love this app. A lot of detail and easy to read. Best weather app and layout next to Weather Bug. Widget is excellent and gives lots of info. Would like to see Doplar type Radar like on Weather Bug (easiest to understand). Initiating the radar does not automatically zero in on my city or location like Weather Bug does. Takes me to West Coast USA every time, even with my gps on and location setting on. That would be a big plus. Also, NOT bloated with huge intrusive ads. Very nice!

I have tried many different apps and this one WAS all around great, then updates kept making it a buggy mess. Now half the time it wont even recognize my locations that it used to and I have to check a nearby town :/ Used to give you all the most important information in such a user friendly interface! Now I have to jump to 3 different screens just to get the wind speed, sunset, and temperature for a given area. "Weather underground" is my new go to app for weather!

A wonderful, easy app. User-friendly even for the novice in the family. Long range weather forecasting. An interactive radar map with multiple forecasting features. The only downfall I see in the app is that you can't switch up forecasting models ( US to EU) like the windy app does but thats why I run both. But all in all the Weather Channel app is a great app and well deserving of 5 stars.

I find the reporting accurate. I use it daily and multiple times when planning travel. What I don't like is the changing format, several times per year. Hard to stop the time on the radar to pin point pertinent weather activity in my area. New relevant information is good!

This app is similar to the previous and much-loved Weather Timeline app, which has since been taken over by other developers (and has sadly declined in quality). This app shows promise, but is lacking in some of the customization options from the aforementioned app. In particular, the widget options are underwhelming - I'd love to see simpler 4x1 or 5x1 widgets with hourly or daily forecasts. Hopefully that comes with a future version.

I think this app is great for delivering me the weather from my location. It also enables me to check the weather from different areas throughout the US. Thanks!!! Keep up the great work Weather Channel 😊 it would be wonderful if you would just let the channel be free without ads, in spite of I understand.

Weather Forecast is great weather app. Much better than the default weather app, 1Weather, that came with my phone. 1Weather had way too many intrusive bells and whistles that did much to distract and little to inform. Weather forecast has all of the useful information minus all of the useless fluff. One addition that might be nice is a "Length of Day" entry in the fourth panel details list. Cheers!

This is a great app, so much information, I love the hourly weather and also being able to check 1 week in advance. I will review again later on about accuracy. A nice touch which I would actually pay for would be the ability to see a satellite forecast like the Met weather app. Keep up the good work. I just noticed the weather radar. We'll done 10 stars

of all the apps i have seen so far, this is the best. only thing it is draining battery due to ongoing notification. A option to refresh like every hour would be good to save batery Power. I liked daily forecast, jacket and umbrella reminder as very useful and innovative. keep up the good work.

An absolute must for everyone to keep tabs on local and regional weather. Plus, climate and environmental changes. Also videos sharing world weather news. I don't like the ads, but that is solved by purchasing a premier version. Simply. the best!

Great for checking quickly on the days weather and the 48 hours to come. Still a great app. The weather channel does a excellent job of covering all that is going on on all fronts. From fires to storms, anywhere and within a few days of the present. I tell people this is the most accurate weather information.

Continuing to like this weather app. As accurate as can be (compared to others). I like the options to change background covers and the ability to change how precipitation and other weather related choices are. Overall best weather app I've used yet.

I purchased the ad free version of this just to support the developer. It's a great app, and the first weather app I have paid for. Wish there was a 1x1 widget like some others I have used. Great layout in the app though, and best looking interface.

Best android weather app I've found. Accuweather used to be alright until they updated it and placed so many ads it is unusable. Then I switched to the weather channel app. That one was okay when it worked, but most of the time it wouldn't load.

I like this app! It alerts me of weather advisories, and there is a temperature on my notification screen! As a preschool teacher I find it helpful everyday, i have to check the real feel at work to see if we can get the kids outside to play or check if its too cold.

It works as accurate as the news, which isn't ever accurate in Florida. But it's close enough. Easy to use, nice design layout, user friendly, handy one tap weather. Very few ads a big plus.

I bought the paid version a few years ago, and been using it for trip planning. Ended up opening it up today to be greated by an ad and finding out there's now another paid version. Not really a good look.

Great visuals. Accurate, and easy to navigate. Can easily change settings to what your used to, km instead of miles, cm or in instead of mm ect.pretty cool. Can check forecast as well, it's a very well, organized put together weather app👍

Widgets are horrible. There needs to be a 5x1 or 5x2 option that shows daily forecasts. Super disappointing considering I used the outdated Weather Timeline for so many years. I'd pay for ad-free if they gave more widget options.

The app has always been accurate & reliable. I like that it shows the "feels like" temperature which can vary greatly from the actual temperature where I live. I appreciate this very much & enjoy using the app.

Old version of this app was amazing! For those of us who pay attention to detail both old and new publishers names are too similar. The name of the app and layout are too similar. Stop scamming people. If you want to make money you should update the app. If you scroll to the bottom it shows no latest update. Only release date. And its 2 years old. App only shows weather for 7 major cities. Apparently Minnesota does not exist? mm precipitation does not change to inches. Trash. delete 500 BOOM!!

This weather app is good and helpful especially in the morning,evening, afternoon and night. So basically all day. I definitely recommend getting this app it will change your life. You won't dress to warm or to cold. With 24/7 weather app you can look at what temperature it will be every hour so, you don't just dress for the morning but can dress for all day with this app. So, get this it will change you I promise.

if you turn on your location finder it gives accurate radar images within the last ten minutes, and if you animate the display you can see which direction the cloud fronts are moving. This allows me to predict if my area will be affected, or how long the inclement weather will last.

Accurate with weather around the world. I use the hourly forecast on wind speed, to plan my outdoor activities very frequently. The air pollution is very informative to plan my travel to area with brush fires. Very useful app.

This app is very accurate and amazing. I like it a lot and highly recommend it to anyone who wants to constantly check on the weather 🌺💕✌️on and when I'm rating the app it doesn't let me say yes it only lets me say no or not sure so that's kind of weird ! Like it asked me if it has ski reports and I could only say no or not sure so that kind of sucks.

I'm really enjoying this app. There's a lot of info on the screen but it's easy to find what I'm looking for. Only thing that appears to be missing is alerts such as 'severe thunderstorm warning' but those come in from other sources anyway.
