good app, would be great if it has adjustable time setting so you can see when will a storm actually hit you

It's really great to be able to see all these maps so quickly & easily. Thank you for making this app for us to use. It would be so nice if there were more maps like the 'Americas' map, which does not show Alaska, especially if it had a angle to see the Arctic Ocean & the North Pacific, since that is where the bulk of our weather comes from. It would be easier to study from the upright angle like the 'Americas'!!!

I've used this app for years on multiple devices and it worked well. After the latest update in May it has an annoying full-screen ad and no longer loads any page with graphics. I'm moving on to something else. Update - 4 Aug 2021 I just revisited this app (I never uninstalled it) and it appears image functionality has been restored.

I most of the time just ignore an app when it asked for a rate because I really don't think anyone reads them. But weather from NOAA has earned the five star because of the high def radar with a different views that you can select in different places. You offer ocean bouys data, gray scale, forecast maps that's shows the front movements. Just a bunch of things that you toy with on this app that most don't offer for free. That's a big thank you.

The ads are very annoying - full sound, animation, no way to bypass for the 5 second countdown. The data in the app looks useful, but the intrusive ads get in the way. I uninstalled 2 minutes after I installed it. I'll just go with the web site when I need the info.

Hey! Your app is great. But STOP GIVING US ADS THAT SCREAM NOISE AT US. We know ads pay your bills. But the noise serves no purpose except to annoy everybody. NOBODY WANTS THEIR DEVICE TO SPEW LOUD MUSIC (or any sound at all) WHEN THEY HAVE THEIR DEVICE SET ON SILENT. I really like this app. I used recommend it to my friends. But, seriously guys, the sound hijacking has to go. 1 star (for now). And soon to uninstall it all together.

I like the app because it's good specific info in many formats. It's updated several times a day for storms /hurricanes . The graphics are very well done and although scientifically written, the narratives are not hard to follow as they seem to realize that many readers are just lay people looking for non hyped information.

I love serious weather and have followed dangerous weather since I was a child and this app puts me right on top of anything anywhere in the world. I would recommend it to weather Buffs anywhere you have a device capable of putting the app on it. recommended to anyone who likes to see what the so-called called weatherman see and be able to predict situations maybe more accurate than forcasters.😏maybe.

Great app for keeping up with the ever-changing weather all over the world. If you are a weather buff and you know anyting about weather and I really into atmospheric conditions around the world and following systems and storms anywhere and everywhere may be helpful.

Obtained this app because I follow NOAA on my computer during hurricane season. If power and regular Internet go down in a storm, I want access to information. Works well, although some features do not load well on the mobile unit.

love EVERY aspect...except when i REALLY need it (approching storm) the radar, well actually nothing works. not even writen warnings. Not a good feeling. But other wize, FANtastic !! 😎 (p.s. your last question about if the temp. is shown on status bar, i don't know what a stat bar is. BUT, it does show temp. So regardless, y'awl get the temp. out and i'm content. i try pushing this app. to friends & strangers alike, thats the best i can do. have a great day & Thank-Y'awl !! 🌈

LOVE it! I've been out-of-touch w/a RELIABLE satellite image w/x channel for years. (I'm an X-radio broadcaster & had friends in the w/x stations locally.) So I learned a lot about w/x from them. Thank you for making this phone app. available.. >George<

Took 1 minutes of being opened in the background. My phone started to vibrate so i opened opened it up. I got a popup video ad. It alerted me when i had an ad. The app was uninstalled instantly.

Brilliant Global Watch app! Just the satellite alone is marvelous. I live in New England (Go 3xconsecutive AL East Champion Boston Red Sox). But, I've got a Fiance + family & friends in the Philippines. I've been able to give them very early warnings of 2 Typhoon's (1 of Wich is happening now). Thank you so much, NOAA! Your name is trustworthy.& Apps like this should be as available as possible.

Awesome! A must have app to farmers and people living in flood prone areas.

i find it interesting in that i can spend alot of time seeing what our planet is brewing up for every one,at the least it is a colorful ,easy to see,lots of details,air quality,wind, scientfic detail on space...etc...thank you.

I paid twice for the ad free version but still get flooded with ads. I've uninstalled it and reinstalled it after purchasing, but still get ads.

I'm a professional pilot and this app is an amazing source of information. With the severe weather phenomena Discussion reports, analysis and the access to globe maps and imagery, i get an accurate idea of what to expect with my flight

I Love this App! Gives me an accurate satellite image of storms! Easy to download images! Now with "Dorian" headed for Florida, this App will be able to assist me in getting up to date views to my lived ones in her impact zone! Thankyou so much!

I paid for ads free version. 2 days ago worked fine for 2 day now full page ads and telling me i need to subscribe to use features i just paid for.. beware i had same issues last year and unsubscribed then ..

Yet another weather app that assumes that the only country in existence is the USA yet doesn't say this in the description. "Global storms" if you live on a planet where the entire globe is America. It has weather data for the North Pole yet none for the UK! OK for Santa I suppose, but useless to me.

Living in the Caribbean this app allows me to be well informed of all weather that will pass through my area with great accuracy enabling me to be well prepared ahead of all warnings. Very good app for those who want to be in the know about the weather.

this has been a really good app, since i have gotten the Samsung Galaxy s8active . This app doesn't want to work very well . Sad i really liked it before. Not sure what the issues are with this app and this phone.

Being a Truck Driver, I count heavily on the accuracy of weather reports. I find this app extremely useful and view it several times daily.
