I love the app for its' functionality. It's easy to use, accurate with a great widget. Unfortunately, I continue to have issues with accessing the network when I install a certain security suite app (Security Masters). I have contacted the customer support and the made the suggestions to no avail. After awhile the app starts to function properly. This, of course, is annoying. I've noticed several customers have a problem with network access. I hope the developers address soon.
It's ok when it connects. I often get an error saying "Network error occurred. Please check your Internet connection." even though I am connected; whether I'm on Wi-Fi or LTE makes no difference. Force quiting and starting again makes it work, but it's annoying to keep doing that. Also, the app has bout been updated in a year. I think the Play Store lists November 2017 as the last update. The ad supported version was updated on 2018, so there isn't incentive to buy the app if it's neglected.
Always been a great app. I've used it for years. One rather annoying issue when using the rain radar is that occasionally it will say network error. At first I could fix this by making sure that every other app window was closed. Lately though, nothing seems to help. It is a bug I hope they can fix. It's still the best I've found though and I always recommend it to others.
Update: I sometimes get severe weather notification s, and when clicking on them, get taken to the app. However, the app does not show the alert. The app and the notifications seem out of sync. Cluttered display, sometimes with small white text on top of grayish white image. The radar often fails to load, complaining about a network problem when there is none (I'm on Wi-Fi and all other apps work).
Beautiful but not accurate at all. I wanted to love this app, and visually I do, but what's the use of a beautiful presentation if the data is VERY OFTEN wrong? 6 or more degrees off, sometimes it'll say it's clear when it's pouring. I thought it was my city but I've traveled this weekend and every place I visited had the same issue. Also, the app and widget sorely need a 'last updated' timestamp. If they would just allow data to be pulled from more trusted sources this would be great.
I set my notification preferences to emergency warnings only, and at 11pm I get noisy messages saying I should bring my umbrella tomorrow. That and the fact that it fails to connect with its own servers to actually deliver weather information, but the app says there's a problem with *my* internet connection!? Everything else works just fine. I think not. This app is very pretty, and very average, at best.
Nice app with good graphics. I got it for the photographer section showing golden hour. The only issue i have is the temperature displayed isn't always up to date. I compare the temp with google weather and it can be 10 degrees different. I'm not sure if the weather is coming from Foreca but it's slow to update. For example, the app says its 79 degrees in Newark CA and its actually 91.
I love the look of this app and it has a ton of data to take in! I struggle with the radar though. It essentially shows how heavy it is raining. But with just basic color blobs on the map, it hard to read or interact. And in the event of severe weather, like we had in our area last month, there is no way to understand severity of weather on their map.
Nice layout (not just "looks nice," but intuitive & functional) & I haven't noticed any major inaccuracies. But there's room for improvement, from lacking info to UI & layout issues, & there's been very little done to it, with no update in a year & none of those things being addressed, despite pointing them out long ago, which has me looking to move on. Finally, & significantly, it communicates with Facebook. A pro app (no ads) has no (legit) reason to do so. If not for that, I would give it 3*.
It's a great weather app with some great features. The widgets look great and so do the live weather wallpapers. What I would like to see is better animations, for example rain drops running down the screen. Or fog in the corners of the screen similar to the old HTC sense from 10 years ago. Also the notification area needs padding as its to congested and the curve nearly cuts in to the temperature. Also the text remains black when dark mode turns on so I can't read the notifications.
I like the way the information is presented, but I do NOT like the fact that I can't get rid of the moving backround. I would prefer a solid color backround. I find the moving background distracting. UPDATE- turning off "animation" helps by setting a static background, which is much better than the same background in motion, at least to me.
I really enjoy using this app. It has been super accurate so far and I love the many choices in widgets and the full screen live weather effect on the app. If I may make a suggestion, instead of just scrolling weather backgrounds, would you be able to make actual animations instead? That would be epic! That's my only suggestion. I love everything else lol. Thanks devs!
It's decent, but the UI is all one color and makes it hard to distinguish between hourly and weekly views. Plus weekly is always off the screen. Swiping right and left on main view is confusing as to if it's changing the day or the time. Overall it has great information but it takes too long to get to the two things people care about when we open the app. Today's weather by hour and the weeks weather. Also turning off notifications doesn't work. I still get flash floods every time it drizzles.
App update. The developers got in touch with me regarding inaccurate weather forecasts given through this app. Keep in mind the app itself is great but a weather app is only as good as the source of weather information that it is connected to. There are several different sources of weather information and the one that they have for my area of the Treasure Coast of Florida is absolutely the pits. I can't tell you the number of times I have stopped plans to get together with people either on a boat or motorcycle, based on a forecast one or two days ahead that turns out to be completely different on the day of the get together. Unfortunately, by that time it's too late. I am uninstalling and looking for another weather app. As a retired commercial pilot, weather is a very important part of my life and because we are Outdoors so much, it is an important part of my social planning. Note to the app developers, you have a great app, please connect with a different weather source. I've emailed you and sent in screenshots prior to this. Thank you
I really want to like this app but there a few things that bug me. First, I can't remove the temp from my notification center. Second, why does it keep defaulting to Kent, WA when i turn off GPS? Lastly, would like to get a more detailed description of the hourly conditions. However, it does have a nice interface.
My favourite weather app for about 9 years. I find it more reliable than any other weather service I've tried except for a weird blip last year, since, they've been back to fantastic. Nice widgets and a clean interface. It's pretty great tbh. Only request would be including a pollen forecast/count as its the only thing I have to search elsewhere.
This has been my weather and background app for years, on multiple phones and tablets. It's a rock solid app that has never given me trouble or bad weather information whatsoever. The live wallpapers are gorgeous, and the widgets are clear and informative. I usually keep the Complete widget on my home screen with full transparency, and it's still easy to read. Plus you know the general weather from the background change. Easy top 10 app.
Needs a manual refresh option; I live in Florida and a 30 minute refresh period is the amount of time it can go from sunny to pouring rain and back to no precipitation. It's a beautiful app but lack of manual refresh hurts its versatility and rating. Update: issues resolved, a beautiful and well put together app. It has one thing that a lot of weather apps don't have or removed in updates: current precipitation data. Thanks!
