2 dollars a week for "pro"!!!!! 🤣 I'll stick with previous generation that has MORE options and is cheaper!!! 1 time purchase option needed and color customizations then your in the same realm as the previous version.
Something has gone terribly wrong. The clock face has ballooned up so large that most of it can't be seen. I can no longer access the settings menu to adjust anything. It is unusable. Very sad. I loved this app...
Greed will bankrupt you, such a shame. I have used this as my nigjt clock since it first came out. I swear I paid for this app before. They took away the options to change background amd made it pay. After it was free for years.. And double the ads .. Just greed.. They woke up one day and said hey I need more money.. I have found some apps just as good & free.
After the update it's awful. I would have paid as a one time purchase, but never as a 4$/week. I can literally buy a clock and a barometer and use those instead.
New update changed everything and is now trying to get you to upgrade to pro at a high cost. Will be deleting this app after years of loving it. Would have paid for the old version but not $3.99 a week for this mess!
Loved it until it flat stopped working. Cleared the cache, but it still doesn't work.
it used to be good until the new update. now it's a cluttered mess. the a.m. wraps to two different lines so it says 1:10A with the M on the line below it over top of other items.
Used to be great, latest update ruined it, now it's like having a flashlight by your bed. Uninstalling to find a replacement.
I previously gave this app a high score and marked it very good. Now it has been jazzed up and made over complicated. Also, you get an advert that is sometimes animated in the clock. It's called night dock for a reason and I don't want adverts keeping me awake. I could buy it to stop the adds but the app is now awful and not worth it. All I want is my phone to become a clock when it's charging by my bed. This was the best. Now there are others far better.
The new update has removed all the features that made this worth your time. The default layout is ugly and customization is locked behind a subscription service.
Had the old version back for a few weeks and it updated again back to this junk!! Revert back to the old version and I may reinstall. Who is going to pay $4.99 week for the pro version anyway? Temp has been stuck on 27 for over a week and it says celcius when it should be farenheit anyway😡😡
After the update it is terrible. Too much light and the setting is very limited for the free version. Now it has many adds, which doesn't make sense since I don't want a party.
Was one of the best but since the 2022 update it's become unusable for me - it time is to large for the box it's in (the seconds are vertical ??) There is now no way of adjusting the different parts - except to scale the whole thing. I was very pleased with the old layout now I'm looking for another app that is as good as this one was.
I had been looking for a clock for while my phone was charging and this is by far the best. For a simple app it is pretty customizable. We are discouraged from having cell phones visible while working with the public, but no one, including the boss, had figured out that my desk clock is my phone. I really appreciate the feature that lets me disable it at times so I can charge my phone at night without it lighting up the bedroom with the display.
The 3 stars is a compromise. If you live in an area where the weather can be reported by the weather service used, I would give it 5 stars. However, it could not locate my town (only one 35 miles from me) so, for me, it is useless (less than 1 star). The display on the screen was effective--beyond the incorrect weather report. I never discovered what the "No" meant to the right of the settings icon. EDIT: I uninstalled/re-installed and now my correct weather appears to be showing.
I really like the display with its content and the fact that it dims. The only problem are the bright ads that pop up and hide the whole screen and require me to close in the middle of the night if I want to see the time. This defeats the purpose of having a night stand clock. I suggest that this app block ads at night.
Skips an hour in 24 hours. I use it on a always on mode, on a device that I use simply as a clock. Now I'd expect the clock to show the right time. This one skipped 2 hours in 2 days. Refreshes and autocorrects when you touch the screen. Was intending to give a single star because it misses the TIME which is the basic of the app... but cutting it some slack.
NOT DEPENDABLE: I've already uninstalled it due non-dependability. First, I've checked the box wherein it will automatically turn on once the charger is attached but I need to always turn it on manually. Second, the weather forecast has automatically turned off when I did not changed anything. What a waste of a good app. 😫
Works fantastic as a night stand clock app, love the autodimming feature. Love that it turns off the Android Navigation buttons and white bar. Switches off reliably when removing from wireless charge stand, but no longer will turn on automatically :( Have to manually turn on each night. Not a deal breaker though. Samsung Note 10+ running Android 10 Though now I am getting the Rate Me nag screen, even though I have already rated it???
Very cool app, but it just produces too much light for me. If having a solid black background was an option, and you could make it dimmer, I would love it. Even with the brightness setting turned all the way down, it's still too bright for me and my insomnia.
The old pre-update version actually works and better display controls. Current version is JUNK! Stop the forced update. They've removed v1.8 from the store so now I have to side load the old version. V2 is nothing but PURE adware...takes 3 minutes of back-to-back ads just to get out of settings. Wouldn't use V2 even if I was paid to use!!!
Used to be free with no ads. Now. $6.50 a month!!! Don't think so.
Latest update doesn't work. Constantly crashes.
Too many things changed for the worse and they want $5 a week which is $260 a year for weak new features.
Definitely uninstall after update to terrible crop with alot lot of commercials
I have weather night dock pro with 4 or 5 phones . Worked great with all phones . I have a Galaxy Note 10+5G now . One of the best features is that it comes on automatically when you place it on the cordless charger . It stopped working for about 6 months but very recently it started working again . I have had smart phones for a number of years and this is the best app I have ever had . Thank you so very much for the update .
A useful little tool that does what I want. Editing the screen contents is a little finicky. I managed to lose the current temperature at one point and could only restore it by reinstalling the app. A textual wind widget option without the word "wind" would be nice
