Weather Radar — Live Maps & Alerts

Excellent app, great animation designs & love the extra detail included if one wishes to use, such as varied cloud cover height. I don't have the best reception & speeds & only have a mobile. Even though I'm inland a bit on the eastern seaboard of Australia, not in a city, and not on a fast internet plan, your app loads pretty quick really. So although I have no need of snow reports for eg, Thank you very much. If I wasn't fiscally challenged I would donate for sure. The ads aren't aggressive 😬

Very nice app...Not every app is perfect and sometimes have bugs...Help the programmer develop this app by using it a giving positive feedback. I like its set up and so far its working perfectly well. I would consider purchasing the paid version. Its like having a mini weather station at your fingertips. I recommend everyone to download it and give it an honest try, you'll find it helpful and accurate as any you can find on the internet.

So far-Great! I just got this this morning since there have been several severe weather warnings. My local TV channels weather apps were so bad they we're no longer reliable. I like the graphics and the user-friendly interactivity here. The only thing I need as a frequent user are frequent developer updates. If you look at the information about this app or any app you will see their update history when you scroll all the way to the very bottom. That's how I determine the apps trustworthiness.

Inaccurate weather data because the app only picks up major weather stations. It needs to tell me the weather closer to where I live. The icons also is faulty, our entire country is in drought and extremely hot weather, yet the icon shows rain. There are various little things that does not work correctly with this app so it needs a lot of work still. Uninstalling.

Definately has issues with refreshing when zooming. I continuously lose the radar when zooming in and have to close and re open to get it back.. Can't even get what I'm trying to see. With that said, what I'm seeing does not account for land features that change wind and wave patterns.... you know, like ISLANDS! LARGE ISLANDS where wind speeds differ on each side. Then again, maybe it would... if I could actually zoom in without losing radar. I'm just gonna be stuck with an expensive app.

A very good and friendly useful app. It shows the wind directions as well which you will find very helpful to know when a storm might be heading your way or not. Though it crashes on and off whenever you zoom in, overall I would still rate it as 5 star. It's fabulous well thought out and lot of hard work and attention paid to it. Pls keep up the good work and may a big corporation pick you up on this

Nice but some bugs. Radar mode...if you zoom in fully using your fingers, the screen will freeze. Then you have to reboot the app. The zoom controls work correctly and tapping the screen works fine.The temperature on the map doesn't correspond with the NOW mode temperature for the same city(fully zoomed in on city). Samsung Note 10 device. Android 10..4.14.117

What happened in this new update!? The clean and responsive UI is gone in favour of slow or barely moving visuals as well as options in the app being changed to a drab list. Before you could stack different layers in an easy and visually pleasant way and now it seems to have been stripped back to what I'd imagine the original version was like. Really hope they can revert these changes.

Keeps crashing when attempting to zoom in on map. In addition to the ads banner on the bottom (understandable), a full page ad with loud vocals and music pops on screen every time app is launched. Very annoying and embarrassing when in public or late at night when others are sleeping nearby. There are much better similar apps in the Play Store using the Windy radar map platform. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Latest update fixed all ills. Thanks! The longer I use Weather Radar, the better I like it. Nice graphics, just-the-basics weather & astronomical info well-presented, minimal intrusive annoyances. (Aggressive ads forced me to uninstall a weather app i'd always liked a lot.) Will renew one request: I wish WR would render horizontally. (Thanks too for your prompt response to my first rating.)

I've tried just about every weather app. So far this is my favorite. I live in an area where dangerous tornados occur far too frequently. Thus, accurate up-to-date weather radar and information is critical. The radar view that this app provides is excellent, save one factor. As was addressed by another reviewer, I would appreciate the ability to use this app in a horizontal position. Thank you for an excellent app. Our lives depend on it!

It has potential, would be better than weather bugs app if.... Pros: Great Radar live information, lots of layered information. Plenty of information on all the screens. Cons: No one wants to see a full screen ad as soon as they log in every time they log in. Great Radar... when it works and doesn't black out. Over all.. needs a good "bug zapper" but like I said, has potential. Change the ads to lower part of the screen like weather bug and fix radar glitch. Will change to 5 stars.

Its just like the NOAA app, but free with a permanent FB ad at the bottom.. not really in the way. The only improvement I see that could be made is if you zoom and pan around enough, the radar map disappears and displays a night sky background image. You have to close and reopen the app to get the map back. Still, though.. worth 5 star for being free.

The wind ,the detail ,the fact that it shows animation days in advance is really cool . I like this app but what I can't deal with is opening the app and immediately being stuck with a full-page ad that I either have to sit through or find a small X somewhere to close . I know ads are necessary u should just make a window somewhere tht never goes away just changes ads could b animated mybe even audio that takes up maybe 15 20 % of screen

I'd been looking for a decent weather app for a very long time without any luck until I decided to give this one a try! This app has it all when i comes to weather! I especially like the radar detail and graphics! The right now, the hourly, and even the day to day forcast screens have great detail about pretty much anything you want to know about the weather everywhere! Awesome App!!! Keep it up!👍

Edit after dev response to (I'd give more stars if the full screen ads didn't play loudly without warning. Let me turn that off and you could begin earning a high review.) I fully understand about ad revenue. I've worked for software development companies for close to 40 years. I expect, however, that the ads could be SILENT so when I'm at work and have a break, your app doesn't embarrass me because of the noise... You can control if the media-based ads are noisy or not. Noisy=uninstall! Bye...

Looks great. Probably close to being quiet accurate even though there's always room for improvement. I would recommend it just because of the way it looks and the two times that I've used it looked quiet accurate to what I was perceiving in my present time while at the same time in was looking at my phone, of course the app. Good. Run it. Download this thing and give it a try.

Best weather app of many I've tried. Cloud cover display is clear & fast nation wide. Same w/ wind direction, temps etc. You can pull down window to expand area covered, local, region, USA. You can move a marker around to a pinpoint area. If thats the page you want, it'll appear on opening. Does take a little time to learn but you no struggling, just some trial & error as with most comprehensive apps. Can't pull up page w/, clouds, (best feature)? Go back to home, clear, strt over or Deveoper.

Amazing weather app. Would be great if the map was live. Update: They added a live radar, which I expect to test. However, they skipped the "play" button on the weather map and it's really difficult to see an active weather history...

Widgets won't update unless you you turn off power saving mode : NO THANKS! Widgets cannot be resized to whatever space you have on the phone screen, they forcibly take half of the screen! Temperature indicator too small in notification bar and font is weird, looks old / vintage. App reverts back to another city, I have to always click on the button to find me again. Weird!
