Weather Station

I don't know about this. This app has had several issues for years. Most icon sets appear to be almost identical except for the real set. Hourly forecast icons don't change regardless of what is chosen. Edit. Full screen does not work. I see the icons still look the same. App animations are not smooth. Going back to app from settings forces update. Many, many issues with this app since day 1 that are still not resolved. Dev seems to either not believe users or simply does not care to fix issues.

An app with potential. However, the temp/pressure graph shows wrong data, from some other time period, or maybe not even from my station. I'm reading my own WU PWS station, and now it's 21:00, but graph data ends at 05:00. The large graphs should display last 7 days by default (the maximum limit for WU API), but they go back 15 days, so half of the graph has no data.

OUTSTANDING! I have an old 10 inch tablet, I wanted to turn into a weather station to keep on my room. This app updates every minute, and you can select what weather station you want, it has a perfect landscape mode for large displays, it is really a perfect app for my needs, I would like other themes, and be able to select what data to display but that's just personal preference, the app works perfectly, I will upgrade for sure, this is one of those apps that you want to keep forever.

I'm very pleased with this app so far & I'm strongly considering a subscription after the trial. Only thing that confuses me is the Barometric pressue graph (history). It seems backwards?? I would imagine it going from left to right (right being the current reading) to show it increaseing or decreasing (other than the arrow by the current psi. I am currenty testing it out on a virtual set up to see if there is a difference from phone). Also, is there a better instruction manual with images?

It took a lot longer to set up than any other weather app I've tried, but I wanted this one because it has a lot more information than other apps. Unfortunately, when I try to put a widget on my home screen, there's a list of weather stations to choose from and I can't select one. The app itself will use those stations, but the widget won't. Or maybe the widgets are paywalled but don't tell me that when I try to add them. It's pretty good, but I wanted a good widget. Disappointing experience.

Why have ALL weather apps lost the ability to see "projected" radar maps? It's like they all stopped giving us this really great tool. We can see past radar. But does not project several hours in the future as well. I LOVED that.. what did they take it away?

Nice and simple layout. No weather history past 12 hours. Great for an old phone or tablet. First three widgets don't work at all.

This used to be a great app. Something changed awhile ago and can only get my station even though 3 others are setup and On. Re-installed cleared data etc to no avail. Also some odd information now shows with a blue background that is annoying. Wasted a lot of time trying to correct. Same problem on phone and tablet. Why did this perfectly performing app get messed up?

I've installed and uninstalled many weather apps. Either they are hard to read or they have too many ads. But Weather Station is beautiful. They had to have done a lot of user feedback to have such a useful and easy to read interface. And they are hardly any ads, certainly not intrusive. It ought to be the highest rated weather app out there by far.

I encountered a situation on my cell phone this week in which the cell was hanging under certain conditions. Self diagnosis led me to Weather Station as the offending component. I contacted their support via email. The app was modified quickly, and I was notified to load the new update. I have used it 24 hours without a repeat of the failure. Excellent customer service on an excellent weather app! Thanks!

Being that I'm a weather fanatic, I'm always looking at weather apps. This app is a complete weather station. All of the stats are up to the minute and precise. The side bar has multiple options for viewing and getting more detail for each category. I am running the lite version, but there is a subscription version also. Overall, I recommend it.

It used to work great. Then it quit updating the 10 day forecast on my tablets. I tried everything I could think of to no avail. So, I uninstalled it and then reinstalled it. Now it won't even find my station. I even tried searching for a major city and it said that it can't find it. I see other people with similar problems so... something needs updating on this app (just for reference, it still works on my phone, but that isn't what I want it for)...

App does not update, not a problem if you don't mind being three days behind. Tried to uninstall and download again and now all I get is a blank green screen with a little black box with a rotating circle. I tried emailing the developer and have not heard back. It worked OK for several months then successive problems began. Now totally useless.

Thanks for the feedback. I tried 0, 1, and 2 decimal places and it didn't change anything. The horizontal scroll units are still degrees F. just started using this app, and I like it, but I noticed a bug. I changed the units to Celsius, and it changed it in two places, but missed out on the horizontal scroll. I'm not sure if I can attach a screenshot... If you try it, you should be able to see what I mean. If you fix it, I think this app could be a winner!

By far the most informative weather app. Has the ability to select different sources for weather data, including your own sensors. The best home screen widget, period, for people who want the specifics at a glance. The only thing I wish the app included was humidity and/or dew point forecast, which is available from services like AccuWeather. Otherwise, this app melts all the others, no BS.

I want to like this...has a lot of information at your fingertips, unfortunately, the widget, which only uses half the space it supposedly needs, takes up an entire page on my phone, so it ends up buried in the back where I never see it. Will probably uninstall and use a weather app that is no where near as good, but can fit on my main page with other apps/widgets I need.

The radar image is not visible over water. For Michigan, where we are surrounded by the Great Lakes that's a huge problem because we can't see what's coming. Uninstalled. Response to reply: I used whichever radar comes up when the button in the app is clicked. If there's more than one option then it's whatever the default is because I didn't change it.

Ads are fairly annoying on this app and the interface is pretty slow and kinda wonky for what it's worth.

Very clean and clear display of wx data from our station with the addition of quality forecast data. Well done!

Nice app, but the information provided is incorrect. Please change Base Map with WRONG MAP OF SURINAME! My rathing will be higher. Thank you.

This is really good. But the UI on the widget needs work. For one as you change fonts, colors, sizes etc the widget dosen't update. You have to flip around and back. But worse is the date and time. The letters overwrite each other. I suspect that this may be caused by the system font size. I have mine a bit larger. Perhaps the dev could have code that would compensate for changes people make to their sys font size. Oh, small thing option for widget rounded corners and maybe border styles. 😁

I'm using this with a Weatherflow Tempest weather station. I can't directly get weather data from it but since I post to WUnderground I can get the data that way,with a slight delay,and it works well. I'm hoping with the growing popularity of the Temoest and it software is open source that maybe the developer will add it as a station that can be directly connected. Even with the link I use now its a really nice app and has a Professional perspective when displaying the data on my note 20 ultra.

EDITOR: GPS was already disabled as I don't allow access for certain apps. But I gave it another try & Temp, Humidity & Dew Point still off. Plus, it's off by 5 degrees in Notification Bar (80 vs 84.9). So it's not me, it's the App. Again, buh-bye. Previous: Awful! Temp, humidity, dew point are all way off. Plus it keeps going to a town on the other side of my state & won't let me change it to my town. Buh-bye!
