Weather & Widget - Weawow

Literally couldn't think of a better weather app. It is fast, absolutely no ads, it can display information without GPS activated, tons of info, very esthetic, all of this for free! I have tested a few weather apps and I have never seen all of these features combined together.

Pretty descent weather app. I'm not a big fan of the big spread out weather info. I'm always looking for a good widget that displays the Date, Time and Weather which this app has. The one thing I would like to see added is the ability to change the color of the fonts separately from each other. The everything in white makes everything look blocky. The free version without ads makes this a great app if you choose to go that route. This helps encourage one to support the devs as you use it more.

I am loving this app! The layout is easy to use, the changing photos are spectacular, and support from the developer is timely and helpful. AND...you can choose the weather provider you want! Add to that it's free, with no ads? Who could want more? Thank you! One thing that I would find useful is radar map showing future hours...but, I really still give this app 5 stars!

Love this app, love that you can contribute to it as well. It gives you Dawn and dusk times to help you get the best shots, would like a moonset/rise indicator too though. The only downside I can think of is that if you are using the homescreen widget and you see a gorgeous shot, the photographers name doesn't show on it, and when you click on it and go into the app, it refreshes and shows a different picture. There's been a few I wanted to "wow" but wasn't able to because of this 😔

Great, detailed weather info! I found it difficult to get through the initial setup & customization, but very happy with the results - 5-star level! However after recent update, widget keeps losing my clock, so I have to go in & out of the app for it to show up again, but it only stays temporarily. So, I can't see the time anymore, or access the alarms, timers, etc. without going in& out of weather details. (Google Pixel 5a) *Update:. I appreciate the quick response & will try to be patient. 😁

Installed this today to replace a inaccurate weather app. So far I'm impressed with the look, layout, and accuracy. The app predicted rain at 6pm and the rain started at the time predicted. I like the widget for my home screen. All the information I need is there at a glance. If I need to see more, I can see that easily too. Nice app guys. Thanks.

Interface is nice. Data analytics and prediction models are way off. Current data is also off as others have noted. Needs work. Only thing of value is the interface but if the data is not any good what's the use. Since changing local weather feed to NWS I have seen minor improvement but nothing near what it should be. Local predictions still not right.

Update: I can no longer get Widget to appear on home screen. LG V40 Android 10. FINALLY! A weather app that isn't bloated with intrusive ads! This weather app is the best on planet earth, end of story! Superb layout, easy to read & understand, lots of detail and customizable widgets. Several weather providers to choose from and you can choose many different radar screens including standard Doppler Radar! And the best part: NO Stinking Bloated Ads!

Love the app. Really pretty. But current temp in app and in widget is not the same as temp in status bar, or on lock screen. To be clear, the app/widget seem to have correct temp. The status bar/lock screen keeps falling to a default 48 degrees for some reason. --- I figured it out. The status bar always shows lowest temp for day. No matter what setting I specify.

Very nice and detailed, and no ads. Thumbs up for the developers. UPDATE: After using it for 3 months, I'm still very happy with it, weather is very accurate. For you that say the temps are incorrect, go into settings and change your weather data provider. I for myself find the Open Weather Map (OWM) the most accurate. I compared all of them to my in-home gadget I have until I found which was the most accurate. The photos are stunning too.

I love this app, but a recent update has broken the weather values. The values reported for current weather and the high value are off by a pretty large factor in both Celsius and Fahrenheit, making it currently useless. Otherwise I've used this app for some time and find it has the most customizable widgets and a great clean interface with no ads.

Nice app but really bad data makes it useless. Regularly says "heavy rain" when it there is no rwin forecast or even likely. Temps are all over the place and off by anywhere from 4 to 10 degrees. Forecast is only close about 10% of the time. Improved data could make this a truly magnificent app because the ui/us is very good but with bad its just a nice demo.

Great widgets with beautiful current weather photos and USEFUL information. Highly customizable and I use it multiple times per day since I live in an area with a climate that can change drastically within just a few hours. Of the dozens of weather apps I've used over the years, this is undoubtedly the best. I'm extremely happy with every aspect of this app, and that is something I have almost never said about an app. If you try this app, you will delete every other weather app and widget!!!

This is my favorite app for weather widgets. The amount of customization is amazing. I find myself long-tapping on other widgets trying to adjust them similarly. Of course they do not. Transparency, size of text, info that is displayed, size of widget itself is easy to change right on the screen without having to change to a new actual widget like 4x1 from 4x2, etc. It's quite cool. Honest 5 stars.

I have tried so many weather apps. While some are pretty good, all of them comes with ads until I found WOW. VERY GOOD weather apps without ads. What's more they have a feature where you can sell your photos and payment is through PayPal. If you don't want to see intrusive and irrelevant ads, you must try this. The weather app itself is simple and easy to digest. Excellent weather app.

This is probably the best free, without ads weather app. It's pretty, lots of detailed weather infos and has some provider selection so you can choose which one's the most accurate for your area. The widget settings can be more refined though, for example text alignment, drop shadow, more weather icons, ability to turn off time or date individually, font colors, more fine tuned text size, battery level, next alarm etc. But hey the current one's already very beautiful & functional. Great job devs

All the other weather apps have either some glitch or too many ads. So far so good. If ever you monetize this, please, please no monthly fee. I'd consider a one time fee, but if you institute a monthly fee or too many ads, I'm gone. Good luck, I'm liking it.

The app is very nice, simple and pretty. Most important, very accurate, probably the best weather app on Google play. Wallpapers could be better, in terms of quality. And less flower/tree wallpapers on notification panel, please, I can't very often see what's the temperature because of that. Everything else - perfect!

Amazing customizable weather ☁️🌡️app with no adds! Just what I was looking for. And it doesn't drain your battery 🔋 either 😊 Update* 5 ⭐ to 2 ⭐ love the design still but it's not accurate at all. I have to Google current temp to get correct weather. So disappointed ☹️ Update developer contacted me. I tried changed where I get weather from but it's still off anywhere for 1°-10°. I even uninstalled and reinstalled. So I don't know. Sometimes it's correct and other times it's off.

Update 28 Apr 22: it's been pouring rain for at least an hour but app says overcast. This has happened multiple times in the past few months. Please fix! I've had this app for about a week and, so far, it seems to be working well. I like that the temp in the notification bar can be set to the 'feels like' temp. This app seems to be a lot more accurate than Weather Bug and Accuweather ... So much easier to see the content without ads cluttering up the screen lol. I'll update if anything changes.

Very informative weather app. Best one I have used and I think that I have used most if not all of them trying to find the right one. Much better than the one that comes with your Android devices (1 weather). Definitely a five-star app with little to no fluff at all. The only thing that I wish the developers would think of adding is a default option for what map you would like to use when looking at radar. The older style map without the wind directions is much more accurate in my opinion.

This has to be the best weather app out there, and I've tried them all. Accurrate, customizable, the widgets are spot on...I'd like it if the radar would open up to the more widely used satellite radar instead of whatever it is they use, and that the radar would extend longer, but free with no ads? Really can't complain that you have to switch a little. Great interface.

I'm a long time AccuWeather user looking something better (I couldn't turn off the crazy advisories). I found Today Weather and described it as pretty and gave it 5 stars, until I saw the money they wanted to remove the annoying ads. WOW looks just like it, but without any ads! It's a beautiful app. Control what aspects of the weather you wish to view and change your viewing priorities.The widgets are functional with so many options, but more is not necessarily better. I wish there was a way to make it readable but not overwhelm my home screen. I Love this app! Free and no ads is just icing on the cake!

First you notice that the graphic design is beautiful. Really! But the test is usability. You actually get to choose from 7 weather services for data! You can customize the order in which the various aspects of weather are delivered. You can tab for quick access to forecasts from different cities. This app is fantastic! THIS is the one to choose.
