This is the by far and away my favorite weather app, and their user service is excellent too if there's a bug. Their widget is a bit finicky every now and then, but I still recommend this to all my friends.
Great app but I already paid for the ten day forecast version and it's reverted to the 7 day one, and I have no way to get it back. Its an automatic payment every year.
best weather app ever I have fun playing with this for way too long Definitely worth buying the upgraded version too. helps me know when to go fishing snowboarding or fly my drone with perfect details and extremely customizable absolutely love it. Get it you won't regret it even the free version is amazing. Not to mention the developer is always updating and adding new features truly a rare thing these days and worth supporting.
This has been a great app till the sub ran out. Then it has been a headache trying to upgrade again. No buttons work for upgrade. Tried contacting developer through the forum but forum signup had problems so couldn't get in there to post a notice about buttons. Unfortunately I have basically given up. Was quite happy to pay but no way to do so. Seems that upgrading is not an option any more.
One of the top meteo aps. A lot of customizable graphs and data. But the best part is Radar, with "fast" and "slow" mode for moving into future - it's gorgeous. Only missing thing is active radar widget. Even free version is totally usable.
Tons of information. Highly configurable. Pro Edition claims to have more features but when I signed up for Bronze I see no additional features. Supposedly this is 14 day free trial before I am charged. Shall update my experience.
Brilliant app - gives a really good visualisation of the weather, letting you understand what is happening, rather than just seeing random symbols. And well worth buying the Pro version, which helps support the developer and lets him keep improving it
Really nice to be able to look at several of the major global weather modeling systems on a user adjustable graphical level. Free version is robust for most, but more features and models available for power users who choose to upgrade from the free version.
I love this app and the intuitive way the data is displayed. I wish the US modeling were better but that's no fault of this app. It's the only app I find worthy of a paid subscription and I gladly pay it annually. Well though out and cared for by the creator and I personally appreciate that. Thank you.
Excellent app, outstanding, responsive support and communication. Duane cares about his users and their experience with his app.
I've been using this for a few years now, and for visualisation and user interface, it's very good - although there are still one or two little things I wish I could change. It's especially good for understanding the overall weather pattern, which can really help to predict things if the actual weather differs from the forecast. I'd be willing to pay a subscription fee for better data sources, but the (g,s,b) options are too expensive or insufficient. I wish you'd offer more granular options!
Used Flowx for about 2 years. Out of the box it can seem confusing but a little poking around is all that's required to reveal how brilliant this app is. By clicking on anything you see and toggling/editing you will quickly get the logic the developer has used. Don't try to do this while driving, way too much info. Better to learn/customize at home. Again, it really is a brilliant, highly functional weather app.
Thanks for the hard work you've put into developing this app. I've used the free version for over two years now and must say, it is very unique and once one gets their arms around it, becomes easy to use. Recently, I needed to use the help menu but it had disappeared from the free version (just a blank screen on my Android 10). So, to support your efforts I upgraded to Silver and voila, the help menu was back along with many more features. Again, thanks for this outstanding app! Easy 5 stars.
One of the (few?) apps that gives you the data - all data - and the power to use it in one place. Great example of someone who understands the goal and the role, and implements them right. Easy and intuitive: select the data, play the weather movie, use your imagination - you've got your forecast. ;) This is the big picture of weather models I was always looking for. Keep the great work going.
This is one of the most beautiful and accurate radar maps available in the UK. I lived in the US for over 30 years, and in that time I watched the Doppler Radar systems develop into truly outstanding systems, where even a casual weather enthusiast could see and understand what was going on. Sadly that technology does not exist in the UK to the same level of excellence, but Flowx is a very beautifully designed application that allows you to move the radar forward and backward, determining with the best precision available in the UK if it is going to rain or snow where you are looking. You have the ability to add multiple cities, even in different countries or continents. Overall I give the application 5 stars for its beautifully designed GUI (Graphical User Interface) and its beautiful display of weather radar.
This is the Weather App I have been waiting for, however... this is not the one the casual user goes to for a weather forecast. There are plenty of good apps for that. For the weather enthusiast, Flowx is the one! It takes a while to setup so the charts display correctly so they are clear, in the units you want. The display is fully customizable and accurate. Free version shows a week. Paid version 10 days. Will not work on Android 4, fine on 6,7 & 8. This is my go-to WX app now.
Love it. Great graphs and maps. Finally what I was looking for. If you want a really nice and high quality map that is highly customizable with supporting graphs, this is the one. Especially if you enjoy scrubbing through the animation. I finally feel like I'm getting the full picture of the weather, especially the rain. The only way it could be improved if you explained the graph key better. I had to work out the humidity symbol because it looked like rain, it is a little non intuitive.
I could stare at the maps for hours! I like that you can choose different "layers." I didn't know enough about weather to know how easy it is to spot big storms around the world with a map of the air pressure -- it's even visually cleaner than the rain map. I also like that I can hide layers when I only care about rain. Q: What are the 3 different icons in the top right of the area where the temp is graphed? And the pick and blue shading on the graph? Wind-chill? Q: Is there humidity info?
I think this is a really excellent app - the best around indeed! it has never failed us, on a farm, for years now. much depends on the weather and Flowx does a beautiful job. The amount of detail, the fact that you have a proper map in front of you and that you can display the key weather variables - all this enables you to think with the app about the weather ahead. It amplifies intuition and it is a better partner of dialogue than any other weather report possible.
Graphs are amazing! The data visualization and variety of data is not available in any other app. And to top it all, no ads! I thank to whoever made this for this amazing work. Also, i found your app through an article. I was specifically searching for weather widget that shows more data per screen footprint. The graphs are best way to do it! Also, I wouldnt mind ads in the main app (not the widget) if it brings you more revenue. But no complaints! Thanks again!
I love this app so much. I got it as a replacement for wunderground after it became awful. It doesn't really replace a traditional weather app but it has amazingly cool graphs and maps for anything you might want--cloud cover, temperature, humidity, etc and now sunrise and sunset too. It is fun to check and to be able to see weather patterns!!
This app has potential to be really great. My main problem is that the graphs are not big enough to be useful. I do like the main screen but there is no option to view the graphs at a reasonable size - everything is so small - perhaps double tap to enlarge a graph would make sense? Also the widget is broken its all stretched. All said and done I will leave it installed and check in to see if it can reach its potential.
I just discovered this app, and am thrilled. It will be a better replacement for my current app that is no longer effective. I love the customization capabilities (even in the free version) and the widget is useful, it displays so much weather information in a compact format. This is a great app for those that are weather fanatics. My one request would be for the widget to display the current temperature.
The clear presentation of the weather data and clean design make this the best weather app I've ever used. I love that the graphical 7 day forecast is prominently displayed rather than something you have to dig for. The ability to change the data presented gives some really nice options, like showing wave direction and magnitude simultaneously. Just an all-around great app!
A more reliable way of seeing what the weather is going to be like then your standard weather apps that aren't necessarily very local. I also really like the widget as it's subtle but gives a ton of information with minimal space taken up. even though it looks like it may be difficult to use the app is actually quite easy to master and understand.
Brilliant weather app!! All the weather information you need..... on ONE PAGE!! Visual, graphical, and numeric data for the whole week... on the same page with interactive satellite images coordinated with graphical depictions and data numbers. On a small screen phone the numbers and icons are pretty small, especially the wind direction compass making it difficult to read the wind direction. Totally my "go-to" weather app....
Fantastic concept; great design. It's been very glitchy for me lately though and many pro features stopped reliably working before my paid subscription even ended! After that I'm undecided on purchasing the gold version again, but ss it stands I couldn't regardless...the "upgrade" tab is a blurry mix of nonsensical font that doesn't respond
