I REALLY want to like this app. Well, more specifically what I want is this app information as a widget for my home screen. A small, simplified version of this same information (maybe a 2x1 widget) to show on my home screen with current barometric reading and an arrow up or down. Maybe even the arrow turns to red if the change is significant. I have found other apps with widgets that do this, but none offer the notification options that this app has.

This app has been great at preventing migraines! It lets me know how long I have to keep the ear plugs in. My only complaint is sometimes the notifications are off. I'll get a notification when there isn't a pressure change, or it won't notify me when the pressure changes. So I will randomly double check to make sure there isn't a pressure change. Other than that, it's been very helpful.

*Knocked down to 2 stars bc app is now unusable unless you register.* I like the visual barometric charts. New update has added option to use other pressure units! (I use milibars) The chart scale seems to have been changed so that it fits the pressure for the day into the available space, so its not as visually consistent as it used to be, so I have to check the pressure units more carefully. Alerts can be set based on an amount of pressure change (not a specific pressure).

I would like rating to be higher but app doesn't give notifications. I have contacted developers and they are working on it. I see other apps suggest calibration being required, so is it really accurate? In other apps there's control over the notifications; this app has no controls IE sounds & vibration. As notifications are key for headache suffers perhaps not enough attention given to this area. Location should include airports for accurate readings. I promise to come back an edit when fixed.

This app was brilliant but unfortunately something has happened the last few weeks and is sporadically providing notifications of upcoming pressure changes or notifications of when to put in earplugs. Update...It seems performance has improved significantly in last few weeks and adjusting back to 5 stars.

Excellent concept, but still a work in progress. Doesn't work with my phone's notifications so I have to make a point to regularly check the app forecast. That said, I would probably turn the notifications off as I live in an area that experiences significant pressure swings daily, it would be great if the notification threshold could be set for more than .29 inHg. I understand that .29 inHg is a lot but in Southern Alberta, your system acclimatizes to withstand higher variances.

I'm not actually understanding how to use this app at all. I'm trying to use it to track barometric pressure BUT for previous injuries that act up because of it decreasing. I think it would be really helpful to expand within app with some helpful videos on how to use the app. And expand not just on headaches, but everyone's aches and pains.

I knocked it down to 2 stars. 1) It sometimes blips out and shows no data, even though the weather is going crazy. 2) forces you to register and give email with automatic permission to spam you. Give the option to opt out of spammy emails. This never popped up before and I've been using this app for a few years now.

So far it's been great. I've avoided 2 migraines/headaches thanks to the alerts. Preemptive care. I haven't been asked to register. I am interested in the earplugs and if they would work. An added plus. The warning was sent before my fibromyalgia started acting up. I'm hoping the Preemptive care I was able to do for that keeps me out of a flair.

I've learned that my migraines happen during the decreases in pressure. I haven't had the WeatherX EAR PLUGS long enough to see if they make a dramatic difference yet. I do find it very helpful in predicting opportune times to plan outings. Great app, thank you 😊

This app has enabled me to control my migraines almost entirely. I use the data option to set my phone's timer for reminders of when I need to use the earplugs and when I don't. The App sometimes fails to download data, which makes me realize how I depend on it.

Every time I open the app, I get a message to register the app for 30% off, which would be fine and dandy if, when you enter an email address, you could actually get the message to leave. Instead, it just stays there, making the app useless.

Purchased earplugs and installed the app. Seems to be a fine app, apart from never giving me notifications (I've allowed). I check the app every day, however allowing for notifications prior to changes in pressure is what is needed.

The plugs are too small for me, but the pressure forecasting is invaluable. Note you can get an exact reading on the graphs by tapping and dragging your finger below the line.

If I could give zero stars I would. I bought your product with the intention of using your app to avoid migraines, but every time I open it a giant pop up covers the pressure shift information, asking me to register. Your app is NOT free if you harass people with this pop up. And there's no way to get rid of it! Lose this now. Sorry I spent money on your product.

Love this app. It is great for people suffering from migraines and or headaches due to biometric pressure changes. It allows me to proactively manage my pain. Less one star only because the app sometimes is glitchy, but they take care of quickly!

While there isn't an exact time of the barameter shift this app gives me a heads up to prepare when and if I can go somewhere outside of my house. Migraines are devastating and control my activities of daily living and social, if I'm lucky, outings. barameter changes and weather conditions dictates when I got a migraine! This appt is paramount in helping me. The earplugs are iffy and I can't always wear them but i'm so grateful for the app in assisting me.

I've used this app for over a year and find it very helpful WHEN it works. It's plagued by frequent technical issues (more than any other app I've encountered) and the devs aren't great at communicating when they're working on fixing issues. For weeks at a time a 30% off coupon popup will render the app interface useless and I'll have to rely on notifications for updates on pressure changes. Other times the app will show "No data" for a week or two. Frustrating because it helps me otherwise.

The notifications are a great reminder for incoming weather. I would have given 5 stars but there's an annoying pop up about registering that freezes the site.

The earplugs work great and I've come to rely on them, especially in the summer with high heat and humidity driving my migraines. But it has been several weeks now that the notification system and app data have not been working. This is the prime season for my using them, so it has been frustrating to have it down for so long. Are there any updates on when WeatherX expects to have full app functionality restored?

I just downloaded this app and seems like it will be very useful. My ears get plugged whenever the barometric pressure drops, but before, I had no way of easily tracking and predicting it. I am experiencing some issues. The only tab I can access is the Home tab; the Data, Care, and Settings tabs will not load; it just says "Please wait" before returning me to to the Home tab.

seems to be more annoying than helpful. It doesn't save your location and won't work or even let you log on without having your location on 24/7. Every tap of the screen in the app it continues to ask me to review the app before I can continue. Every movement! Im talking every time I slightly move the page even if clicking not now or don't ask again. Also, You could get just as accurate of a reading with zip code &city/ state saving without constantly needing location GPS on. I've seen others do it just as well. Would be very helpful if there was more or any information on how the changes actually affect migraines and what the changes do, instead of "buy this and put these in your ears when there is a change, buy in our shop now." Even the ability to just do a simple checkmark or record that you had symptoms at certain changes would be helpful. Likely going to switch and uninstall..

The earplugs work great, and the app did too at first. But I haven't gotten any notifications or alerts in weeks, which makes the earplugs pretty useless. And now I can't even see past data to figure out if that's why I have a migraine because they've got a "sign up for our emails" popup that can't be closed out of on that page.

Avoid migraines with this app & earplugs! I use this app and the WeatherX earplugs all the time. It helps with my pressure induced migraines, and for when I drive home from work (I work on a very large hill that takes 15 min's to get down). I get the notification, put my earplugs in, and presto; no more ears popping! I do wish the location would move with you as you travel. It only lets you set a stationary city. Also I wish the home page that opened was the data page. It's the only one I use.

I have multiple issues related to barometric pressure. I have no interest in registering my app to get a 30% discount on earplugs - but the vast majority of the time when I open the app, the entire screen is blocked by an ad for doing just that. The ad has no way to close it! On the rare occassions I CAN open the app without the ad popping up, I get very useful info - and the alerts are great - but it's not worth the ad hassle. I'm uninstalling the app. Bummer.

This app is fantastic! You can change the location by clicking on the location in the upper right corner. You do not have to keep location services on. I regularly switch my location to check areas for family members. I was able to lower my threshold in the settings menu, as I am more sensitive than their default. I'm going to try their ear plugs with the app too.

I suffer from migraines. Some are weather related and others are not. What I like most what this app is you can see both previous changes and projected changes. It helps me plan ahead. I wish there were more alert options so I can get multiple reminders, as I'm a forgetful person. Other than that, it's great. I don't use the product but this app is great by itself.

I am very impressed with the communication and responsiveness of the developers. I contacted them about not being able to manually enter a location, which forced me to have my phone's Location on at all times, which I don't want. We had a few emails back and forth - very friendly. Then, in the next update, they had changed it to do exactly what I wanted it to do! I was thrilled! They also made another few changes that increased ease of use. Excellent service! :-)

Notifications dont seem to be based on the forecast (and trigger everyday even on pressure increase). Since they are trying to paddle a product its clearly in their favor. Charts need to reload with every change in view, which makes it frustrating to navigate the application. During the construction of this application, a data visualization specialist was not consulted as formating of charts and tables is very poor. Numeric discrepency in values across figures and charts is also present.

I wish the alerts would go to my email and that the alerts had more specific timing. I have used these earplugs as my 1st line of treatment for migraines, especially for the last 2 weeks, every day because of the snow storms that have been occurring. I also use the historical feature to correlate information. This app has the best info on barometric pressure, I've searched thru many and recently dropped one because it stopped monitoring barometric pressure. My neurologist suggested the app
