This app is so much better than so many others that stop notifying or simply stop working. Great job here. Now, I would like to make a suggestion: I think it would be really useful if we could group alerts e.g. having the same tracked element from different sites -such as the price of a TV- into a collapsible group instead of having them scattered inside a long list between many other different items.
Edit - Developers fixed the issue! Fast response time! I used to love this app. It worked great for checking for changes in websites. But starting the past few days, the app has stopped automatically checking. I've tried changing the settings, reinstalling, etc., but it won't automatically check in the background. That defeats the purpose of this app. Please fix. I was really relying on this app and it was amazing before
Worked great for a while, then stopped working. It still does the checks, but the notifications are broken. That makes it kind of useless. I also bought the expansion pack, but now those functions seem to have disappeared. The options under "XP" are exactly the same as those under the main app. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling from Google Play. No joy. Oh well. It was nice while it lasted.
This seems to be working rather slowly lately. I cannot seem to get it any faster on my Galaxy S20 Ultra. Using WiFi 55.30MBps and 69.80 MBps 4G on Vodafone. I run three checks, set to be tested every 25 seconds. But each check takes about 25 seconds to run. I have set it to allow 3 simultaneous checks to be completed. But it only seems to run one at a time, so each check could go unchecked for 50 seconds. Overall it works well, but not up to my specific requirements.
Works perfect as described! Really getting a lot of great use out of this app! Battery life impact was minimal, even using 15min intervals. Fingers crossed that the developers add a feature to choose where NOT to watch a web page. Right now, if I want to watch an entire web page except one element, I have to select every single other element. Would be nice to tell the app to "not watch" that one spot.
Why are the advanced navigation and notification settings only available per alert and not in the general settings? This is completely unintuitive, very easy to overlook and just frustrating to have to set endless alerts for each search rather than it be on by default. Many people will want this on by default yet it's not. You miss the first alert and then good luck if you see/hear/feel it when you want to.
Worked great. I upgraded to extra features. I am using it for past 4 days. It worked flawlessly. I set 15 sec frequency. And all my web pages will be auto checked in less than a minute. But I m encountering a problem now. The auto check isn't working at entered frequency. I have to manually refresh and inspect. Even after 10 mins it is not auto checking. My Internet connection is good. I double checked all the datas and frequency setting. I m facing this issue now.
Great app but it doesn't refresh as fast as I'd like, despite setting it to frefresh every 12 seconds. It tells me about change but with a delay. Also, for some reason I can't choose the option to vibrate as parr of the notification process, it literally won't let me tick it! Please help.
Didn't work! I had just installed this app to check on a site that I was hoping to buy from as they were releasing a new product. Didn't get any notifications, had to check the site to see the item sold out. Checked the app and it hasn't scanned anything since I installed it and added my URLs. Had to manually scan to pull the changes AND then it sent a notification. Waste of time, uninstalled.
Using the app for a while and in the last few days, it has gone from doing 5 continuous checks to 1 and it won't go back till I clear cache and force close the app. Want to uninstall but there's no back up option. The app hasn't been updated for nearly a year but the option to purchase extension pack is current. Developer is absent and doesn't look willing to answer questions like how do I get rid of items in recycling bin or suggest fixes for problems people are having.
Very good app. Timely updates with no additional hassle. If you're using it, I strongly recommend selecting the entire web page (instead of just a small part) and choosing a different notification sound than your odinary one.
Extremely simple to set up and saved a lot of time waiting for specific updates. Once the app notify me of a change, I simply reloaded the web page on my browser to proceed.
Very good. Some features requests (possible for expansion): * simple filter to delete duplicate lines (retain single copy, lines not necessarily sequential) * dedicated option in item options to edit item filters (now you kinda have to start element selection over if you want to edit filter?) * may be add some [additional/optional] more aggressive traffic optimizer (currently some websites consume surprisingly lot of data); this "extra" optimizer doesn't have to work flawlessly in general case.
This is a 'must have' utility and its been great for years! I opted to purchase the expansion edition (because of it's excellent Tasker integration) and it was WELL WORTH the money. Regardless, the free edition is fantastic even on its own. Thank you to the developers for an amazing job!
I absolutely love this app! I am trying to figure out however if there is a way to only pick a few elements on a page to watch for change or if I can only do single, a whole line, or the whole page.
The app is useful but it still has a delay problem. The checks sometimes won't start unless you open the app which makes it unreliable at times. Hopefully this gets fixed. Checks can take up to a minute which I feel like it should be quicker to complete a check. A problem with finding target as well despite the website not having been changed.
Now it won't allow the share function to get the page for seeing it up. Took a few to sort this out. You cut and paste the url and you can input the page to establish the watch/alert. Fix that and it goes back up.
Been using this app for a while and it's the best. What I recommend to add in a future update is to type in either a day or the number of the Version of the site you wanna look at and to go there instead of having to back tap multiple times.
Used to be a great app without any problems, but a year without update will lead to an inevitable bad performance like whats happening now. A lot of bugs like when you click include similar elements it would not include them and also before it would take the app about 10-20 seconds to browse depending on the web page but now its like 40s-1 minute even if its just a simple web page. But the most useful thing that do not work anymore is the "SIMPLE ALERT" feature ! Man just do an update if you can
