The app is ok but there are a few optimizations and simple features that would make a world of difference. Switching between pages hangs for a few seconds, seems to not use cache efficiently. Every action seems to trigger content reloads. There could be a way to visualize if there are any scheduling conflicts in the 'My Schedule' page. It's not very efficient as planning tool (one of its purposes). Otherwise, it's a decent app and implements attendee networking and conference information well.
Really smooth, intuitive, and polished app, and the new improvements for every conference never fail to impress, from the chat and connection features to the detailed catalogue and schedule of the event that you can use to earmark talks and create your own personalised experience. Unrivalled as far as conference apps go imo.
The app is horrible. Firstly, it requests way too many permissions without even explaining why. Secondly, two factor authentication using the same device? Really? Thirdly, registration loop. And it's all for supposedly "largest tech event in the world". Shame on you.
Very buggy app. I try to verify my phone and that fails. Can't link it to social accounts cause that doesn't do anything. And the final step, to add my details, fails as well. This is unusable.
Every time it needs to sync with my contact, and I have to login to my account again and fill the form of interest! We wanted to keep update according to our startup pitch, but there was no annancement inside the app and we missed the 1 min video pitch program deadline. I hope thease problems are because of pandemie situation 😕.
Poor UI/UX, I'm always lost when using the app. Also poor synchronisation with social networks (including LinkedIn!). Peoples profiles should also be improved.
Hey guys, app has a bug and keeps cycling through the registration and syncing of contacts. I can't access the schedule or other features at all.
Wouldn't load. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling 3 times. After it gathered my data it would not operate correctly. As a paying Partwner of this event, this crippled my ability to engage with prospects.
Can't connect Twitter account. This problem subsists in this version of the app. Upon authorising the access, the app can't connect to Twitter by some reason. I hope it is not because of a bad integration of the Twitter API
Lagging all the time, scheduling with no sense, scans not going through, chat responses not sended. Deeply dissapointed by the app for a conference at this level.
Nice, clean design and easy to navigate. QR scanning works simply and instantly.
A very intuitive and simple application for networking. Interesting security feature with the OTE (one- time email) feature.

Sadly whe I update it just crashes and I have to reinstall it again on my android. Just turned off the auto-update to see how it goes.
Great to see feedback from users has been implemented to make this app better than ever before. So handy to be able to send files on the chat function now. Nice work!
App is barely working and Web Summit itself is a waste of time and money. Poorly organized, most of the speaches were "empty". And it was absolutely not developer friendly.
Tends to freeze whenever I use any map based feature. Is it possible to share my schedule directly with my contacts? Would be nice to go further than just seeing interests and be able to meetup at certain sessions.
This app is a disaster. I've lost many important contacts. Don't scan people with this app you can loose contacts to them.
Seriously intrusive. Too many questions. Requests total access to my cellphone. No reason to offer it but I have no choice so that I can get the QR Code!
FB sync has been shipped withou the right signature, thus failing to login. Constant loop on registration (solved by reuploading a photo)
Chat doesn't work ! I have received push notification because someone send me a message, but I can't find who sent it.
A handy app and I absolutely enjoyed the virtual format of Web Summit. I look forward to joining the 2021 edition, too! :)
I'm stuck in an infinite loop where I get sent an email, and the email link sends me back to the app's starting screen, where I put my code in and get an email again. Help??
This app is such a helpful tool to navigate the event and quickly find the talks I want to watch and the people I want to connect with.
Doesn't work, registration freezes with no option to move forward... Don't waste your time.
This app is better than 2016, when I last used it. The chat didn't work well though, it wouldn't load most times and my replies didn't go through. I would also suggest to lose or change the days' tab as they go on, it was annoying to change back from day 3 to 7 or 8. The internet worked a lot better, although it can still improve but kudos for that coverage, BTW.
