Webcams

The ability to be able to zoom in and out on the webcams would be a great edition. The amount of webcams showing "Please enjoy a clip from our archives" is still too prevalent in the app.

The piped music is seriously annoying when trying to enjoy the scenery and sometimes the sounds of it too. All of the cameras are freely available on web sites, there's actually so many more out there, the sub is a waste and annoying as hell nagging. You can't control ptz through this either. Yes it's a simple way to view them but the music is killing it. Would have got 3 stars but the sound is way too annoying.

A better country visits by way of this app real time when you wish to see sites like beaches, airports, zoos and bars a fine app useful.

I like this app, but unfortunately paid for it here on and it wouldn't connect to my firestick (after I went through all of the cams to create a watchlist). I ended up purchasing it on the tv also, which was through Amazon App store -EarthcamTV2. I am enjoying it on my tv, but not using this on my phone much. I would love to have the option to make a few playlists (like for time zones) instead of just one watchlist. I would like it to ask if I want to play video clip before playing one

Selection seams to have decreased a little maybe. Many you find are just a saved static picture. Some say old clip from the archives. Been using for quite a while now and doesn't appear to be increasing in webcams. Can't pinch to zoom in which would be nice. And one my wide screen latest phone, it would be better if I could use the gesture that zooms in to fill the whole screen, even when it does then crop the image top and bottom. Other apps allow to flick two figures outwards

This app is a lot of fun. I will say that after this last updates the buttons in the upper right corner - for map, favorites, etc - are impossible to see, as they are white. I also wish that when you clicked on a camera on the map, for more info, it wouldn't take you all the way back, when you finished with the info popup. Fix those and you have a winner. Is there a way to suggest more cameras? There's one on St Simons Island that I would love to see added.

I used to love this app. Now it takes a long time to connect and when it finally does, i get a server error. Its the paid version. Once the app was accessed, the actual took 3-5 min to load then it would say that they could not connect to the server. Something happened between yesterday and this morning. The app is now working wonderfully with faster connections. Thanks for the response. Review updated.

Not very many cameras available through the app without paying a fee. The one-time subscription you pay for on the Amazon Fire stick/box does NOT transfer to this app. I enjoy this on my Fire box but some of the app features (e.g.the dropdown list of countries to search from) should be available there as well for paying members. It's not a one-time fee if I have to pay it multiple times. Uninstalled the app until they merge their own services effectively.

Too many cameras show "Please enjoy this clip from our archives". Who on Earth wants to watch recorded video which is years old? Just display a "Sorry, this camera is offline" notice!

Promising until I started looking at some of the available cams. There was an awning in one and another had a dark corner of a building, which to give the benefit of the doubt surely would have been the lit corner of a building if it was day time. So if these are the types of things you like to look at through webcams then this is certainly the app for you! There are other views but the fact that the app is clearly not maintained caused me to uninstall and rate 2☆, cuz it's worse than 1!

I give this app 5 stars! I love this app because I like getting to seeing and hearing other places in the world. No matter what time and where im at I will always use this app. I also payed for all the cams. the price was not bad. There is no problem or issue that i see with this app. It's really a great app! Thanks.

All the UK cams have gone apart from abbey road, surely you should be adding cams, not taking them down, rather disappointed, I thought it was only going to better, sadly not.

I got charger twice and they still haven't unlocked the cameras so I text them back and emailed them and so far nothing so guessing they don't have someone working a night or there sleeping lol

Purchased app for one specific cam. (Abbey Rd. Crossing). Sometimes either won't load or shows as unavailable for extended time. Sound is totally garbled on app. on this one cam. but sound is fine when viewing same cam. on desktop p.c. and sound is fine on the other cams. It's enjoyable to view when it's working, but would be better if the audio was working correctly.

A number of days ago I would have given this app I use on my Samsung tablet a 5 star rating but after a number of days (don't remember when I was on it last but it wasn't too long ago) the app quit working and even after unloading it and downloading it again it for some reason doesn't work. I sure miss it and would like some help in figuring out how to fix it.

Great App but still few issues with most cams, buffering issue, quality issues, focus issue, some are listed as live but in reality they are not and many more minor issues with casting. I would suggest the team to keep a lookout for all such things and get it fixed otherwise it's of no use to list non-usable webcams., when you are listing a cam in your app, ensure their uptime and all related issues that might hamper overall usability for end customers.

It's ok. cams freeze up. haven't seen the Niagara Falls cam in over a week, just buffers. NY one has been just a picture since I loaded this app a month ago. Now you have to pay one day for cams, then next day it's no charge. This app is all over the place! deleting! not interested in contacting anyone. your app has potential, fix it! either charge, or not charge! don't do day to day charging, it just frustrates

Great cameras. Wish there was a way to rotate screen to have a bigger picture. Overall, great app

I absolutely LOVE this app!!!! I just wish that there was cams in Vancouver BC Canada and surrounding cities. For example: Surrey, White Rock, Abbotsford,Burnaby, New Westminster, Richmond, The Ferry terminals in the lower mainland and on the island, Maple Ridge, Chilliwack, Langley, ect. In Surrey at the public library beside the sky train station they are always filming movies and tv shows like 100, super girl, there's just so many to list! Otherwise this app is AMAZING!!!!

Website said to download app for MORE features. installed. Wants me to pay for cam via app, but visible free on website. Waste of time. Rated and uninstalled. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Excellent cameras with good clear picture

I had it on to look at hurricane surge on the coast and to see locales around the world. I would type in a city that I have seen on my PC Earthcam and all I see is what I typed, nothing on screen. Also, when I used what was on recommended site, Iwould turn screen and a EC thing popped up and woukd block half the screen and wouldn't go off the screen, even after 'X' was pushed. I took it off phone and will stick to PC, if I use the site. Disappointed....to say the least

It's a little awkward, but I appreciate that they have a one time fee for certain functions and don't issue a regular charge. I really like the space station cam...when it's broadcasting. (Get me the space station back 😁)

It's nice and all, but you can tell its american based cause over half the cameras are in the USA. I want to see more than city skylines across the states. I want to see my country of Canada outside Ontario. I want to see more scenery than fancy lights. I would rather mountains than cities, or coastlines instead of tourist areas. I thought Earth cams would show more of the planet than just American skylines.

I used to love this app and used it quite often to see Myrtle Beach. I have two cams as my favorites, but now, there is a fee to view what I had been seeing for free. Very disappointed. I would prefer not to get the same generic response from the developer as everyone else got.

Eh, it's alright. Not as many cans as there used to be, even with paid version. Not even a single Australian cam? No casting option, strangely it continues to offer me to upgrade to the full version even after purchasing, though the buttons now do nothing.
