Webroot SecureWeb Browser

I like many of the others have been a happy user of the Webroot app but since their update, which was yesterday, it has become useless and in fact useless. At this point it appears that I will have to uninstall it from my phone. My only hold up is that I have already paid in advance for a whole three years of service.

I give less than a STAR NOTHING WORKS ANYMORE ??? I downloaded the App doesn't Work !! Read the older app will not delete??? Changed the password 3X and got a confirmation that it changed but my new password still doesn't work. NOTHING WORKS ANYMOR !!! If It Ain't broke don't fix it Please ! I will continue to scan the phone, BUT NOT WITH WEBROOT !!! I have More to say, but I'm giving YOU a chance to fix THIS !!!! SOON !!! Had you on all our computers and phones WHAT HAPPENED??? THANK YOU DM

I've been using Webroot on my PCs for many years now, and love it. However, this app is unusable. The application menu is unreadable due to the color scheme chosen. The text font is almost as dark as the background. The only way to see the menu options is to run your finger along the screen until you manage to select an item. At that point, the selected item's background will change, allowing you to read the menu option text itself. If a simple menu is this unusable, it makes you wonder how thoroughly they tested the rest of the application.

Can't uninstall after erratic phone behavior. Suspected recent phone update, I tried to uninstall, unsuccessfully. The Home Page showed uninstall button, clicking it did not uninstall. Went to All Apps by scrolling upwards at bottom of page. App was still there and uninstall selection not available. App still active, proof the app is still active. Running Android 12. Quality Control is lacking. Will not buy another WebRoot product.

Did update now cannot use. Have an account through Best Buys. Will cancel that account

I would never use another security app. I just wish I had a little more access to the home screen as far as editing the devices that this program covers.

Notified that an important update was required. Attempted to update, using keycode supplied but cannot complete registration because of unspecified problems with email and password. No explanations and no support option. Uninstalled.

I hope these bug fixes (11/12/18) fix the "lockup while scanning" problems my wife and I have been experiencing, which I have been reporting for over a year. Both phones: - Samsung Galaxy S4 - Current Android OS as of this date. Thanks.

This is my first time trying this app. I have had webroot in the past for my MAC and PC, and I loved it. I recently purchased it again and decided to extend to my phone. That's when I came across this app. I've used it a few times. It makes me feel safer. Especially knowing it's a webroot product. I wish it would allow me to login with my account. Just error codes so far.

I have it on my laptop and phone, but as of yesterday I had to remove from my phone. What is going on with CPU warning? Will not scan and freezes my screen. Tried to reinstall it later last night but same issues so I uninstalled it again. I paid full price for this so hope you fix it SOON!

Due to the fact that webroot secure anywhere caused my phone to overheat and used my CPU causing my battery to drain, BitDefender is now my new protection. This issue has been going on for months. The app crashes continuously. Webroot whatever!!! I want my money back!!!!

So far a easy to use & setup security app,i have loaded up on win xp,win-7, win-10 on desktops PC's without any problems yet.Also have installed on android based Tablets,smartphones around 5-6 devices or more.The app updates itself,if you run scan manually scans fast & also while idles ,(Without slowing down the system!) Not a expensive app ! The company who makes it they are in business for awhile ! If any questions;send me a msg. THANK YOU Webroot for protecting us for years 👍👍

The app is unusable in its current state. The settings menu shares the same colour (offset by maybe one shade) as the words, making it impossible to navigate without wasting time. Would not recommend.

I've enjoyed having webroot on my phone for the last several months, but since the update today it says I need to turn off my usb debugging. However. my usb debugging is not on. I don't want to tell it to ignore incase in the future there really is a problem which means I can't get the notification to go away.

Doesn't work correctly, constantly stops working and closes. I already paid for a full year for protection and this was suppose to be covered. I personally find 1-3 star ratings with explanations, tend to be more accurate ratings than 3-5 stars w/o explanation.

I just bought an HP Chromebook from Best Buy and decided to install Webroot since I received a free 6 month subscription across 3 devices. After installing it I received a notification saying secured wev browsing was turned off and in order to fix this I needed to download Webroot secure web browser so I did but it says it's not compatible with my Chromebook. I installed both on my phone and the secure web browser doesn't let me get past creating an account. 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

Since I installed webroot on my phone there's been no problems. My renewal is coming up in a matter of days and believe me I am going to make sure that my phone and laptop are covered. It's a little expensive for me since I'm on a fixed budget but it's worth the money. Without my phone and laptop I would be lost. I'm able to visit my family in California videos text facetime. Thank you for a great protection.

I mean I like Webroot, I have never had an issue on browser or mobile with the product, so for me its just fine. To another effect I have heard people whom have really discouraged Webroot as a protection, so idk. Its person to person I guess, for me, I like it.

Always loved it, now it's attacking my phone. I'm unable to uninstall, and if I click on a link web root pops up and won't let me proceed. It's ruining my daily and financial life. Guess what's going to happen next webroot

It's just kind of there. Never an issue or a security problem found or solved. Just seems like a waste of money to me. I also didn't like seeing my credit card billed with an auto renewal.

This browser can no longer be used to autofill passwords from the Vault! You are instead prompted for your Last Pass, password. Downloading the Last Pass app for Auto fill of your webroot passwords is an easier option...

So far very good. I still think there is something going on in the background though. possibly some developer accumulating points, emails, info, etc... I will find out soon enough. All of my electronics have been compromised, since mid-march 2020. covid did not help my situation, nor did my lack of $$ . we will see. Thank you Webroot. Don

I've not been using this very long yet but, it's amazing so far, speeds even exceeding the cloud based Puffin browser I previously used but, with added layers of security. I'll update further in time.
