Excellent, easy to install on two computers and one android phone. Technical support is quick and responsive. Was too quick to rate for Android phone. This is not an app for Android. The VPN chokes the download speed to a point a successful sign-in is next to impossible, time outs are run of the mill.
I had horrible experience with these guys. They made me pay 2 times for the same month as subscription fee after my trial run ended and I have been unable to access the app since. It is still prompting me to subscribe. I paid through Play store, which is just a storefront for subscription. Webroot denied that I have subscribed for the app despite pulling out 2 payments from my account. Contacted Playstore and Webroot customer supports and they are blaming each other for this issue
This App works well. Yes it has bugs, but keep in mind, it's still a fairly new product from a very reputable Internet Security Company that has been operating for many years. As with all their other products, this product will definately improve. What I like about this VPN product is that it's provides additional protection when browsing, by making use of Webroot's existing Threat Intelligence network. This is a great bonus! Overall, I'm happy with it and I think they have done a great job in keeping it simple. (Note: As a member of the Webroot Luminaries, Webroot gave me a free 1-year WiFi Security subscription.)
Would hive 0 stars if I could. I was suppose to have a free 7 day trial and after thatc7 days it was suppose to be $3.99 a month. What they fail to mention is that apparently its another $39.99 plus tax so it was like $43 and some odd change for the complete protection on 3 devices. Ive got an email sent to developer and hoping for a reply since this u7nforeseen charge overdrafted my account resulting in more costs..
Used to work sometimes, although it frequently lost connection without warning. Now it won't connect at all saying there is no internet connection. Fix it or stop offering VPN.
I like Webroot Secure Anywhere but this Wi Fi security is not working to well for me. First I think it should automatically connect its self when you are always on WiFi. Sometimes it shuts its self off. Not to satisfied with this product. But I will keep my Webroot Secure Anywhere.
Installed on my android phone and working well. Installed on my pc at home and is ok. Auto reconnects from time to time but I think my lousy internet service is the problem. No issues with speed or any othe performance.
Called up australian office kinda helped, after recieving tech phone number. Followed instructions. RESET PASSWORD didn't allow me to change my password. It expired. Headache and stress. Looked up community online not helped. Only went for cheap monthly price. Tried most vpn services, actually had to ring in person for first time. Email support or online help lacking transparentcy. Wouldn't recommend because verification hard. Have tried service before and once confirmed worked well.
Won't even load most of the time. Just sits and spins then gives you an error message of " No connection " when in fact the connection is 5 bars. This app is junk! Norton is next for me.
I did not have a successful experience with this product. Each time I would enable it I seemed to lose Internet access. I tried connecting to vpns in different parts of the country but no luck. I have an older Samsung Galaxy s5 so perhaps it is my phone. For me this product was a waste of money and now I need to find an alternative.
I love this app. But, then, I am a Webroot fan..have been using their anti-virus security for years. I don't care if the security VPN connects automatically...it is one-click to do it. Jeesh. At least one more layer of protection ANYWHERE is worth a click :-) IMHO.
Finally able to reinstall SecureAnywhere. Wifi VPN has been spotty with staying active. Appears to chew through battery but not terrible. After paying $70 for both on 3 devices may reconsider renewing after one year but unimpressed thus far.
Uninstalling. Need refund. I have an LG Tracfone Smart phone that is now screwed up. TF rep tried to help me but he found nothing wrong with my phone. He said problems caused by app download. It ate up all my data and made it unable for me tosee my data, text or minute balances on both my phone & pc. Also can't send out any text msgs. Tried a different msg app with no luck. I took a chance on this app bkz I have had webroot protection on all my devices for yrs so thought I could trust this app. So 😢! Update: contacted # provided below by Lara. So happy I did. Man I spoke to helped tremendously & my phone is back in working order. Thank you!
Entered in a password that was 10 characters long had lowercase and uppercase as well as numbers and even tried with and without a special character and it would never accept my password. First told me had to be longer than eight characters which it already was then went to put a special character in it told me it had to be longer than 6 characters. Don't waste your time. You just lost a customer
Have had it for almost 1 yr. Everything was working fine until i got an "log in u known error code". Tried uninstalling and installing and now i cant even get an email sent to reset password. Tried for over 3 hours. Think its time to look for a new vpn.
This app does everything advertised and does it extremely well. It was quick and easy to install and the browsing protection is terrific. I'm using it every day! Webroot Employee
I paid roughly $65 for the full version of this product and every time I have used it, ALL of my accounts have gotten compromised and unable to log in. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY or lose your history of photos in accounts you are no longer able to access.
I paid a lot of money for this so that I could have it on my tablet my phone and my computer. It has NEVER worked, EVER, not since I bought it and I can't get a refund! Tech support has never been able to get it to work for me. I am very angry and when my 2 Webroot subscriptions expire this time, I will be going to a different brand.
App worked fine initially. However, over the last month it's gotten harder to simply log on and get it going. Today I uninstalled it. Will retry it tomorrow. But, as it is a Webroot product, I doubt a human will be available to work through any issues with. I DO NOT recommend this product.
DONT BUY THIS GARBAGE IT ISNT WORTH IT EVEN IF IT WERE FREE, IT DOESNT EVEN WORK.!!!!!!! I use Webroot for Everything. Now I will not use anything Webroot. I am so disapointed that they released a product far from ready, to be used. I wish this worked as intended, because i trusted Webroot so much. Unfortunately I have to take my business elsewhere
I do not even know if webroot is installed and working because I cannot update my software unless wifi is turned on... I dont seem to be able to get any wifi access. I don't even know how webroot is supposed to work. If they can make it more easier to understand i would appreciate it.
I switched back to NordVPN after about 2 weeks with this. Wish I could get a refund. They claim you don't suffer speed reductions but Nord is running 5x faster according to online tests. Additionally, I've had numerous issues with the automatic connection/disconnection and the VPN refusing to shut off when needed
If i could, I would give this app a lower rating, because i never subscribed to it . I noticed it on my phone last month nov 2019 & promptly uninstalled it. But when i checked my goggle account i saw they have been billing me for this item since sept 2019 so i asked them to refund these funds to me. Now this month dec 2019 they are still billing me for it. They never refunded me for sept to nov. Now, they are billing me again for it. On closer inspection they've been billing since aug2019...
Its good because it does what it's suppose to do, however, it has slowed my phone down DRASTICALLY! My phone has (had) great connection both on a mobile connection and on Wifi. After activating this service, it greatly interfered with the connection and everything buffers. On both types of connections. There really shouldn't be a fee, because I paid for more online protection, not to slow down my phone.
