WebSharingLite (File Manager)
* FREE, AD-FREE, AND UNCONSTRAINED: The Lite version of WebSharing is entirely free. There are no advertisements displayed, neither on your phone/tablet itself nor in your web browser. Drag-and-drop file upload is included. There are no file-size limitations in the free version. The full version adds more features, but the Lite version is intended to be very functional and useful by itself.
* FILE MANAGER: Use the file browser to upload and download content to and from your device. The file browser is a fully functional file manager, with the ability to move, copy, rename, and delete files and folders on the phone/tablet. DRAG-AND-DROP file upload lets you quickly upload files by simply dragging them into the browser. With Google Chrome, you can event drag-and-drop entire hierarchies of folders. Uploaded files are queued/uploaded sequentially, so you can be repeatedly drag files/folders into WebSharing without worry.
* IMAGE VIEWER: A built-in image viewer provides the ability to display large photos with pan and zoom capabilities.
* VIDEO PLAYER: Play videos stored on the phone directly within the browser. Videos may be downloaded or viewed directly using both HTML5 and Flash-based video players. The HTML5 player has streaming support, letting you quickly skip to a position inside large movies.
* PRIVACY AND PERFORMANCE: Your data never leaves your Wi-Fi network when you use WebSharing. It does not use the Internet / cloud to perform transfers. Your computer and phone/tablet will communicate directly and privately. And because your data doesn't go over the Internet, transfers happen at local network speed.
Network support: WebSharing is intended for use on Wi-Fi networks, but can work over cellular networks if your carrier allows direct access to phones/devices on their network. Most carriers do not allow cellular access.
Browser support: WebSharing supports modern web browsers, including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Internet Explorer.
Video format support: WebSharing can play videos using either an HTML5 or Flash-based video player. Video format support varies by browser and operating system. Most current browsers will play MP4 files using HTML5. The Flash player is capable of playing MP4, 3GPP, and FLV files.

Good App. It does, what it is intended to do. But, initial starting takes too much time. Even data transfer is at very low speed; takes lot of time, even for previewing a picture. This can be optimized to increase data transfer speed across wifi router. I am expecting improvement, to work like a LAN / Intranet kind of File Explorer, using WIFi Router, in the Home Network. Then it can be given 5*
This app used to work great but no longer sees/accesses the SD card. The developer has not updated it since 2014, no wonder it stopped working properly. Developer is unresponsive to inquiries, hence the 1 star. This also applies to the Pro version.
Just what I needed, the clouds I have been using took days to tranfer the videos from my phone to the computer, I though it must be good since it is from the same folks as FX !!! I plan to buy the full version in hopes of multi selectong files!!!
Great app but the price for Pro version went from .99 cents to $2.99 over night. And I had just come in to purchase. I have to take off a star for thta let down.
The app is still perfectly work on my Samsung Galaxy Note 10 plus even if a pop-up says the app is for older version of android OS. Nice.
Please add long tap/right click menu to open folder. Chrome in android does a zoom in instead of opening the folder.
So....... Many...... Useless complicated apps on this playstore and I finally found one app that can just allow me to transfer files from pc to mobile and vice versa This is a great app
This app has not been updated for a long time. I'd rather use the 'web access' feature in fx file manager instead. But you need the plus version.
uninstalled this app. this app uses shockwave flash to upload files. Asus did it better using ftp with http wrapper. for some reason their file manager app isn't on play store anymore
Doesn't allow users to access external SD card and transfer files to it using the http interface.
Everything is nice and all but why it doesn't support hotspot other http apps support htp through hotsport.phone hotspot is open htp also can be done.
Upload sometimes don't start. FREE version don't support SD-Card.
Absolutely nothing in free version. Meanwhile there are other apps which offer everything for free.

Tried to install on nexus 7 had to go though passing process again, then app stopped working with an error. Have no idea of second payment and through now now possible to install full version again as it has gone from Google Play Services. Please can somebody help and if second payment has gone through and want supposed to please sorry that out. Help.
I normally don't rate apps but this is seriously awesome well done.if i were you i would had kept 3$ for 500+mb 10$ for 1gb+ but you guys habe kept all for free. Salute. With love a human currently from india :)
The problem is that the files gets copied first to the internal memory and then to the SD card so if I have 300MB of free space on my internal memory and 8GB on my SD card and I wanna put a 400MB file on my SD card, I just can't. That's probably the only thing that needs some serious fixing in this app.. Please developers take care of this problem and I'll give you 5 stars :)
Was happy with the app till i started uploading large size file 2 my sd card. It wil upload fast but then the app will hang n website error wil b displayed 2 restart the app. I have 2 force shut it & the file uploaded wil b of less size then the original file. Unstalling it.
I love this app, but ever since the most recent update I keep getting errors. I'll get halfway through a 2 gig transfer and then my connection "times out" and needs to be refreshed, which of course starts the transfer over. Also, there's no clean-up after a failure like this, so I hope I'm not slowly filling my drive with partially completed temp files. I don't know why the session times out so fast now, but I don't like this change. The device I'm transferring to is active, the device I'm transferring from is active, there should not be a time-out like this.
Great app. Easy to use, just follow the instructions. Saves having to connect to pc with cables. One small problem : doesn't appear to overwrite an old file of same name. You have to delete original before copying to Android
Really good. The best app of web file browser so far. However, may I suggest a proper mobile web interface. WebSharing works flawlessly when connection from a computer. But, the interface seems not apt for connection from other smartphones or tablet. I cannot even access a folder because I cannot "double click" from a mobile browser. Having a version of the site for phones will trutly be amazing.
