Annoying. Try to look up a word and there's an ad for premium app, try to exit ad, and it exits the entire app. Open app back up and start over, same thing happens. Pretty uppity when I can get better results just typing the word into Google. And you know, that's what I am going to do. Uninstalled. 👎
I can't even look up a word without the "switch to premium" add popping up Every.Single.Time. And when you try to get out of the ad, it boots you from the whole app. Useless unless you're going to pay for it, which I won't when google is free. If I could rate 0 I would.
Literally UNUSABLE!! I understand ads but this is just ridiculous. I was trying to use it to just look at words to expand my song writing vocabulary, and scrolling through pages will get you an ad about every 10 seconds!!!!!! Or less!!!
Its just a limited time trial. Durinf trial time, you get ads. After that it requires money. Not even timited functionality. That's fine, if this is made clear from the very beginning.
Horrific. The definitions are insultingly simplistic. Frankly, I can't not recommend an app any more than this; this has nothing to do with the ads, mind you, solely relative to the actual data supplied to the users, which is awful.
Well I haven't used it yet. I am not clear on wether it's going to cost me any $ at any time. The app I read in Google Play Store didn't mention any cost other than " In App. costs. There was a 30 day offer for something or other but I believe that I am not connected to any 30 day app. Offer from you all. Correct?
I find this app useless - every time a word definition comes on a (dictionary?) advert jumps up and fills the screen then getting rid of it sends you back to the home screen.
Not worth the time. Not official Webster's. Couldn't switch from dictionary to thesaurus. Too many ads. Installed and uninstalled in less than 2 minutes...I don't see why this app needs access to my personal stuff anyway.
Does not offer pronunciations, Antonyms or Synonyms along with $25.00 purchase and still solicit's for upgrade when already purchased and free apt version uninstalled. Would like a refund but you know how that goes wouldn't hold my breathe. Not even hslf off is worth the price when I have to fownload all other produces to run my business. Very disappointing!!!
I was looking for a quick and easy dictionary/thesaurus app. I found this to be neither. But the worst part is that it's only a TRIAL version, which wasn't made obvious in the info. As much respect as I have for Webster's, I'm still deleting this app.
I had to remove this app because it wouldn't allow me look up words keep saying I was off line and that wasn't true because if my cell phone bill is paid. This includes internet services so why should I pay for an app that only pull up words you never asked to pull up. Then say you're off line when you type in a word that's needed.
What in the world is this application? I opened it up, took one look at it and immediately uninstalled it. A complete mess, this is the ugliest app I've ever seen. Searchbar is also completely broken.
Of course, Webster's Dictionary app is nothing but perfect! That's one main idea behind the book, right? Wouldn't expect anything less. Exemplary!
Well it does not mention cost, therefore one would assume this app to be free as is the plain Webster's Dictionary. However, after installing and opening the app, it offered me a "free trial" period. Sorry, not buyin' it.
Really substandard dictionary app. Full of ads & very little is available in the free version. There are plenty of good free dictionary apps - avoid this one!
Wholly enriching and compelling reference complete dictionary. If only it endows itself with pronunciation, I without hesitation, will award this Best in the genre.
Constantly tells me my free trial is over, even though I've already purchased the product. I can dismiss the message, and I don't see any ads, but it's still an annoyance.
Couldn't find a few simple words so I tried the hard ones "cat" and "dog" but it couldn't find them either. Uninstalled.
Its wonderful app alli have to do is press sceeen or talk on mic and ys easy as that give you choose of dictionary or thesaurus vit wonderful.vI would recommend this app to mi amigo. Sorry just practicing.
It is not clear how to change from Riget's to dictionary. Typed in languid and there were no matches. This has helped before.
Add banner are too big and the interface is not intuitive. . Also some normal words are not picked up easily.

it's got a 30 day free trial, then you pay. we in Google play are supposed to have the info on paid apps should we choose to not download them.
Offered to sell me the Premium version for 50 Percent off - Saw the $24.99 price Tag - Didn't seem to be 50 Percent off - Decided to uninstall due to trial expiring found a Competing Very Nice Big name Equivalent Product @ the $2.99 Price Range .... Way to Expensive for a 50 Percent Cost !!!
Really they want you to pay for this! Plus all the adds. Not to mention the app itself is so busy and not formatted very well!

my experience with this dictionary program has been just great. when i joined you in July 2018, was there a fee to join and to follow that, do i have an expiration date, if so what it that. i DO NOT WANT THIS TO LAPSE. Thank you. Gloria L.
I downloaded this app bc I needed a thesaurus. As far as I can determine after 10 minutes of poking around, it does not function as a thesaurus. It also isn't a comprehensive dictionary, it only gives a few definitions instead of all the meanings and conjugations. I'm uninstalling it. I've never written an app review before now. Also, there are SO MANY ADS. And it costs money. It requires a subscription after 30 days. IDK who would ever pay for this.
