Webtext Reader

Love the fact that they made an app for smartphones! It really makes it much easier for a busy college student. I work full time, am a mom and am trying school full time. This has helped me to achieve the required reading on the go!

I'm brand new to webtext. Don't like it online or in this app. Can't highlight or take notes online bc I'm on a tablet. I hoped those options would be available in the app because it's made for mobile, but it's even more basic than the basic online version. I don't like being tied to a laptop and really wish I could just get a basic ebook I could download into an ereader. I'd have highlight and note options galore.

constantly freezes, so I deleted it and then attempted to reinstall it but it won't. Plus not being able to take notes on a tablet in 2019 seems odd to me. Just buy a second laptop if you planned on using it on a tablet as a textbook as you write do homework using soomo as an app is terrible.

I was expecting the app to be seamless with the web version. Can't see what I already highlighted for my notes and doesn't have the option to highlight text. Basic! Where is the IT innovation. Uninstalled!!

It's missing important pictures in my book. They're on the website but not the app.

pointless to download right now. there is nothing convenient about it. just attempting to do my work on the app adds extra unnecessary stress to my already stressful course load. Why have an app if it's just going to redirect to the browser? sigh

just a really really bad excuse for a application it constantly gets stuck and messes up my answers. this company must have a really good contract with Universitys to force such a poor excuse for software down paying students throats. for example if i tried to write THIS EXACT PARAGRAPH the app would've reloaded(probably for security anti-cheating extensions built into the software) and it woukdve lost all of this comment or refused to post it. so yeah, ill keep using it when needed but hate it

It would have been a great app but i cannot highlight text or take notes. Otherwise, I would have rated it 5 stars.

This is ridiculous. It's still "preparing" almost 2 hours later. Looking at the reviews this software clearly has technical issues that should've been resolved a long time ago.

Videos don't load and most of the stuff in the app is just a hyperlink to a webpage that opens in your browser. What's the point of the app?

Was working fine thrn stopped syncing my work. 25 answers stuck in limbo with nowhere to force sync. Had to start from scratch on a desktop computer.

It's a good reader, but I want to be able to highlight texts on my phone for me to review later on my laptop.

App is trash, don't waste your time. Redownloaded several times, cleared data, etc. Stick with web version.

Got halfway through the class, app gets stuck loading a page and it won't go past.

So far great i like that i can go back just like in a textbook. Thanks for making this app great. Good job

the app doesn't even work. it can't find my course and keep saying try again later

This app was working great for a while and now i can't sign in from my mobile.

This helps me season to articles, for research for school while I am driving.

First time experience with this, really enjoyed it.

This is the worst app ever! It doesn't sync between what you read in the app and what you read in the computer. It does doesn't read, doesn't allow you to highlight anyting, or to take notes. Basically is useless!

Works great for me. Does this work on Kindle?

Can not even get into the app it's telling me the app needs to be updated to the newer version but their is no newer version available...I would reach out to them but I can't due to not being able to get into the app to complete my assignment so they need to fix whatever bigs they have.. I was able to reach out to Soon and found out that the app was not updated on Android.. They updated it and now I am able to complete my work it took one day to fix I'm happy with this app now and the way they fixed it fast do I was able to complete my assignments

Update keeps crashing. Now I'm not able to do my homework. I would contact them via the app, but.......

Would be perfect if it had the same "read to me" feature that the computer application has! Otherwise, great app!

It took a few hours to prepare but i closed it and came back to it and works fine. I love being able to do my homework not at home.
