Not an intuitive app. But I stuck with it for years as I eventually worked out how to use the interface. Now they updated it & completely f***ked everything up. I lost all the tags to show what episodes I had listened to previously and also all my downloads disappeared. Pathetic. I found another podcast player and deleted this. I don't recommend this app at all unless you like wasting your time...
I really dislike the new update, I already had an account but I need to keep reloging every 2/3 days. The new interface is clumsy and I lost all the downloaded episodes I had. Also the new playlist is slow and not very intuitive to remanage your episodes. It was my favorite podcast player, but now I'm really considering moving on to Google Podcasts or Spotify.
This app was THE best podcast player - sleek and simple, and I loved it! But after the recent "update", it's just plain garbage. Once I got past the fact it had lost all of my podcasts in the update, the app itself is now very clunky, full of bugs, and looks awful. For that reason, I'm out!
This had been my favorite podcast app on the iTunes store after the release of apple's TERRIBLE podcast app, and has served me through 3 different phones with the last switching from apple to android, but this latest update has made it unusable. The playlist controls for re-ordering and selecting episodes is now broken beyond belief, the playback cuts out if the app idles, all of the previous podcasts I had were deleted and all of my playback records were lost.
Was great, now unusable. A recent revamp that made the UI easier, but deleted all subscriptions and downloaded episodes. Also made it hard to find podcasts, hard to play them and hard to make a queue. After a number of years I have had to jump ship to another service.
The recent update forces you to create an account and login to use even the most basic functions, something not present before. Additionally, no further information, such as WeCast's terms of user privacy are shown on the signup page or anywhere. An absolute shame, since WeCast was my go-to podcast app for quite a while.
What is up with the interface? Since the last interface change it gets really confused. Even downloading an episode it's difficult. Gotta find an alternative app.
I used the app for years. Now it simply dosen't work. I can't play any episodes from the podcasts i follow and felt obligated to use spotify (unfortunately)
Since the update it's time to say goodbye. Can't order the podcasts anymore. Loved this app before but hello Spotify. Lost all my downloads and had to login all over again.
I don't know what you did, but this app went from 5 to 1 VERY fast. It no longer syncs with new episodes of my favorite podcast.
The developers ruined the app. I used on iPhone and Android for 2 years. Since the last big change, I lost all my data and I'm forced to login almost everyday.
It was good, but by the last update it deleted every single episode I had on my phone (50+ episodes). I lost trust in the app, and by so, I am uninstalling.
It could have a bette interface, but still good enough for the daily podcasts.
So much bugs after the update. Also, liked the old interface better.

After update at 10/30/19 I uninstalled the app...The update was simply terrible...

They don't respond to emails, so if you have question or problem, your on your own.
This update (10/30/19) is terrible. I lost all of my episodes, it's not synced with what I've already listened to, and I can't pull up older episodes of some podcasts that I used to be able to get. Also I can only download 1 episode at a time and have to wait to do anything else until the download is complete, it used to download in the background. So very annoying. Visually it's an improvement, but that's not worth ruining the functionality.
