I signed up almost 2 months ago and when my account was about 1 month old, I tried to verify it so that I could use the pay feature. Verification was successful but after a few minutes, the app says my account is blocked. I ONLY VERIFIED IT! Another thing I hate about the app is that it's hard to reach out to their support team (if there's any) regarding your account. Not the right app to install if you're looking for a messaging app that's easy and convenient to use. Uninstalled.
I've been trying to login WeChat for the past whole weeks and it doesn't work. Whenever I tried to login, it tells me to repair the app via the "repair" button. I tried rebooting my device over and over and I still cannot even open the app. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling it but the same problem still persist. Please get this problem fixed asap. I really need it to reach some of my contacts.
This used to be such a good app! But then, this 'WeChat Verification' came. I'm unable to play on my phone without the verification interrupting. Before, I could just press the 'x' at the top left corner to get rid of it, but very recently, the 'x' isn't coming up and now whenever it comes up, I have to EXIT the app which just makes it so annoying and when I try to text someone in WeChat, the verification pops up every 3 seconds when I'm on the app and I can't even text anyone anymore! >:(
I've stopped using WeChat in 2017 due to its incompetence and now I've returned to check if they improved the app. To my surprise its even worse now. The verification process is keep showing and I'm stuck on it. Is the size worthy the app cause its not even making sense. Resetting password is showing error -8 then now what. It show the developers of this app are out of ideas and its now outdated and very complicated. I'm uninstalling this app for good.
Worst app to say the least. It blocked my account all of a sudden and does not let me unblock, reset, re-register etc., My friends tried to unlock as suggested on the app, but still no use Your weblink does no good to solve the issue except for wasting people's time. I have uninstalled the app for good now
I just received the latest update for my Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. As soon as the phone restarted, I'm unable to send voice messages. If I restart my phone, the first voice message sends, but after that, the others are silent. Hopefully WeChat issues update soon....
Worst app ever! It was showing me that I don't have a connection. On mobile internet it works, on any wifi it doesn't. I tried unninstalling and reinstalling again and this stupid app deleted all my conversations ans photos I ever had. I can only back up chats to my pc, wow. If I could, I would give half of aa star. Do better
App keeps beeping and opening up in the background. It also keeps disconnecting from internet, both wi-fi and mobile, so I don't get new messages until the app is opened again. No updates are available and I've deleted and reinstalled the app and it makes no difference.
Worst! This app is totally worst. Everytime ill use wechat desktop it will prompt to log in again thru mobile. after entering password account automatically block. I made 3 account already and every time it happen the same. it is so hard to recover the blocked account. Please do something about this. There is no customer support to talk to as well!
Worse app ever, most Chinese people use this app but for me as a Chinese person, I don't like this at all, I used this app before and I log in again today to see what's going on since my aunts speak to me on wechat and to change my profile, but the verification is nonsense! Then my phone storage can't handle too many apps so I deleted this app for a while and install it again after clearing storage, when I want to log back again, the verification got worse.
Honestly, I need to speak to the manager! This app is coming up with a consent every time I'm on my phone, so it's interrupting every time I open my phone. I can't do anything on this app except for it saying "consent" every five seconds. It's interrupting my apps, and when I'm busy on a call, WeChat knows I'm busy so it will pull up the consent. My friends say it is a scam, FIX THIS NOW.
The app is very annoying. The part of telling a friend to help verify account that has been lose isn't visible to all. What if I have lose contact with all the friends I had? Even to open a new is problem. Please review your rules.
Terrible app. No privacy, takes enormous storage, slow, not-even-trying user unfriendly, huge battery usage. Typical Tencent application, even worse than Alibaba or Facebook... I only use it because all the contacts are on it. Don't try, unless you have to.
I wouldn't have given any star if possible, imagine! I just downloaded this app less than 5 minutes ago, signed up, and I got most annoying message when I wanted to login with the same account that my account was reported and that it has been blocked permanently! This is really annoying 😒
How to delete we chat's moment??? I cannot even delete it one by one! There should have a clear moment button.... there should also have option to clear storage (video, chat, or files) without deleting our contact etc. We chat consumed 2GB of my internal memory. When we instal it at first time it should ask user the preference to save automaticly or not the video etc.
Just like what others said, after inactive for a while and changed device, the whole verification is nightmare. Unable to send out messages at all due to 'prolonged inactivity' despite having friends taking the trouble to assist and verify. Tried whole day to fix this but still not able to send out message/ add contacts. And the chatbot is pretty useless and annoying...
bloatware. eats up way too much storage space (several GBs!) even though I have fewer than 10 contacts and interact with maybe one of them once every two months.
Everything is going okay with the app. It's just that it keeps sending me popups to agree with the ToS which I've done already. Eventhough I click out of it... It keeps spamming me again to the ToS like 3 times.
Bluetooth device switching problematic. Loses all BT devices while moving any calls from car BT to BT Earbuds. Have to hang up and re-dial video call or voice call to re-engage bluetooth.
Hello there! Dear developer, I'm new in WeChat and I wanted to know how does the app work. A friend recommended me and, I've been trying to sign up, but when I put the verification code I received via SMS, appears a pop-up saying "Suspicious operation ". So, I'm not sure what should I do now. I would appreciate your answer soon, thanks.
The app is so not user friendly, u can't trace back message or any texting histories nor friends chat histories once have changed new phone, what is the purpose of having such app which restricting people from changing phone.
Probably the worst most popular app which literally draining all your battery, unstable and slow. Please make a light version just for video tchat and remove all the flourish. Something similar to dingtalk lite or messager lite would be nice.
The the log in makes it utterly impossible to use the app. Every time I try to log in I get a message that the password is incorrect. I tried the procedure for "forgot password " but the code sen wasn't accepted either. After that I could not even get a code sent again. I spent a lot of time trying to resolve this issue. I uninstalled and re-installed 3 times to no avail. How you can hope to stay in business is beyond my understanding.
Can you please restore the old feature "Do Not Disturb"? I find it so convenient to be able to set an interval when all WeChat notification are disabled with a simple setting. The new menus are so complicated and where do I need to set in order to block all notifications for a certain number of hours everyday?
Call quality is above all praise. UX is unexpectedly poor, interface is practically non-customizable, but the app is decent & the service is good.
Keeps chasing cannot open the apps. Makes it very frustrated to use. It was working fine before but not recently. Hope there is a way to fix this problem.
I'm facing these problems: 1. Unable to send messages. 2. Unable to receive messages from group chats 3. Mini program upon opening shows a pop-up "Failed to load Mini Program browser component". 4. Whenever I try to send a message it automatically says "Too many attempts. Try again later". Please help me with a possible solution for the mentioned problem.
