Bloody useless app! Just keeps saying connecting and does not allow you to do anything else. Essentially bricked my camera and made it a door bell! The support for this app is non existent and no one ever responds to messages or emails! UPDATE: I can now connect after last update but now no longer sends to the phone when the door bell is pressed. Developer's, sort this out. I work in IT and unit testing should be carried out. Seems like no testing is done at all with this app!
PLEASE update your app. My phones going off ever 5mins audibly saying "infrared motion detected." No option to mute the voice, and it's on low sensitivity. It also randomly refuses to connect to the doorbel. You Really need to add more configuration options, and allow multiple accounts per doorbell. This app drains my phone super fast, and now my doorbell needs to be charged every 10 days! Right now, this app is borderline useless.
With this new update, I can still connect but unable to receive any notification on my phone when the door bell is pressed by a visitor. Although network was connected to iBell but it indicated that there is no internet access. You mentioned this latest update fixes the problem that the message push cannot be delivered. In actual fact, this update DID NOT fix this problem at all, the message push still cannot be delivered. I believe the App Server IP cannot be detected, hence deriving with this irritating issue. Hope you look into this issue seriously and resolve this matter soonest possible.
HORRIBLE APP! Didn't get past the first screen of privacy agreement. There is NO BOX TO CHECK. You can tell app is horrible because the last letters in privacy agreement are also missing and not correctly aligned on the page. The pictures of what should be there isn't! Reinstalled 3 times. They have 1 day to fix problem or I'll be getting my money back via a claim with my credit card!
Seems to partially work but don't get notification on Android. Instructions are almost pointless and can't find any instruction on how app should be set up. On opening app, get onscreen message says app has stopped but it hasn't and takes far too long to connect to camera. 10-15 seconds, that's completely pointless.
After updating unable to access the doorbell at all. However managed to figure it out. For those who encounter same problem, go to D-state, WiFi setting, and reset the WiFi. It works for me, take note, 2.4ghz connection only. Those using Google WiFi will encounter problem, try to use old device that use 2.4ghz connection. Captcha doesn't work, login using your email instead. Hopes this review will helps those who face connection problems. :)
Why is the time on the doorbell display always Chinese time? I now have a theory that this seller gets you to buy the device, let's you connect to it remotely for a time, then because they have to support the connection, cuts you off after a period of time. They designed it this way. The app connects to their server which they would have to support for free and for years which costs money. Do not buy.
It kept dinging my phone even before I got it paired with device & woke me up. Based on the ratings & issues, I uninstalled. I wanted to buy a different peephole camera with a better app but it also uses this app. Why is developer not doing something to fix the connection problems? If they don't, then device developers should use a different app to interface with their devices.
Works sometimes. Found if I format the SD card I can get it to work again. Seems no file management is done to prune old files and that causes app to stop connecting. Ten other times flat out refuses to work work even if card is empty, does not ring my phone anymore. Shows rejected in log. What is wrong with it
Horrible!!! There was an update on Sep 24th and the app stopped working. It indicates "abnormal network - please try again". There is nothing wrong with my WiFi and if you try to sign out of the app you can't sign in again unless you uninstall the app and reinstall it. What a waste of money, time and effort. Do not buy a device that is supported by this app!!!
The app stopped working before few months and it doesn't notify you with a sound when someone rings the doorbell, it just comes up with a picture which is useless in your pocket. No updates for a year now, and the doorbell is useless now. Please fix, before a year the app was working so fine,
Difficult to set up app on phone, least of all connect to the doorbell unit. It worked, in some fashion for 1 to 2 days. I keep getting app notifications that the app is 'working in the background' but no longer get video call after bell button press and bell sound Will be asking seller for refund
This app is getting worse with every update. it doesn't even connect with my doorbell any more no feed is available to live view. After last update not able to send notifications, not able to have live view, nothing is working. downgrading to 1 star, there is no option to save video on phone pls fix asap as i think is a major problem and will give 5*
Notification keeps popping up to say the app needs to close! Very annoying and disturbing. Does not connect to doorbell from my office, only sometimes so its not reliable! Surprised nothing being done to improve app after so many bad reviews!! Please sort it out.
wont connect remotely. had lots of trouble getting it to work even on the same wifi network. and even on wifi it keeps disconnecting. whats the point of getting this expensive contraption if it wont even function half as well as a manual doorbell!
After the latest update, the door bell becomes a dummy, no PIR alarm, won't connect when bell is pressed, local screen and bell will only turn on after second press. Luckily I have a real door bell. App crashes whenever there is an incoming phone call, blacking the answer button!
Not sure if it's an app issue, doorbell issue or both. But money spent on the doorbell is an absolute waste. Very unstable - forever saying the device is offline, no notifications, app doesn't show anything when doorbell is rung.

App now refuses to work properly. I get one of 3 errors every time I run the latest version. To ensure it wasn't just a version problem I sideloaded and tested all the previous versions and got the same errors. One error states that I need to contact customer service about an illegal device. The other error is "abnormal network", and the third error is just a forever spinning wheel as my phone tries to connect to the WeCSee servers and my door bell. My door bell is essentially useless now.
I've read a lot of problems since update. I had same issues. I Uninstalled app completely. I then found apk file on the web and downloaded it. Readded the device and send to work as well as it did b4 which isn't great but it is usable
Pointless. Literally can't do anything. Just says abnormal network. Used 2 different phones. Can't sign up. Can't connect to a device. If you log out, you can't log back in. Abnormal network, indeed 😣
Horrible app. Worked for so long. Now cannot get into the app. at all. All it says is abnormal network connection despite my internet connection being excellent. A lot of money just to hear a doorbell ring
Worked for a while but then no longer works anymore. Keeps sending notification but when you open the app, there is nothing. Eats a lot of battery. Not recommended at all.
SHOCKING APP. 3 secs intro screen, 10 seconds to connect, 15 seconds to "build encrypted stream"??? This is a doorbell app, by the time you've connected to the doorbell, the visitor has left! Total waste of time and money!
After the upgrade. Its not working well with android phone. Phone doesn't ring when doorbell is press. Adjust the setting as per instructed. But problem is still not solve. Pls do something about it.
The application works worse after update, does not connect and does not record videos, I can't even enter Local settings because of an intermittent popup flashing on the screen: WeCSee keeps stopping. This popup comes out at any time of the day and no longer receive notifications. Just about to uninstall this new version and replace it with an old version.
