App has now wiped everything, twice. Guest list deleted, budget wouldn't set to my actual budget, date wouldnt change to my actual date. The old version didn't have these glitches. Would advise using excel or Google sheets with a wedding budget template before wasting your time.
The app changed from Wedbox to Wedsly, I logged back in and the only information that has transferred is my guest list. All my budget information and checklist has been reset, and my wedding is in TWO DAYS. Do NOT trust this app with important information!
I changed my review after we lost all of our data with the new update. Two months before our wedding. We are now migrating to something reliable... paper & pen.
This is a really helpful, handy app that I'm loving using, it could use a few tweaks though. It would be really helpful if you could add guests to the guest list in your preferred order, rather than alphabetical, that way you could work out a seating plan through the app as well, which no app developer has nailed yet. I'm also not a fan of not being able to start a new line of text in the notes of budget items. Other than that, love it.
It has been a great experience! I love the app! I think some improvements could be to increase inspiration to florists as well, I don't seem to have that available. And sometimes the app doesn't show the to do lists or budget bars progress. Maybe that's a bug fix? But all in all its a great app to take the stress off of planning a wedding and is keeping me focused, thank you! x
Easy to use for budget and guest lists. I do have an issue with the newest update with partial payments though. I like that it's an option, but I have paid some things in full and it says partial payments. It's annoying to look through the list and see everything partially paid. I wish it was a box to check because some things are only downpayments. I can see it being amazing if it was tweaked.
It has become difficult to add items to the budget, or to delete some of them, or to even update the payments. Like it's now become rigid. And it has the calculations wrong. I tried to unistall then reinstall, and cleared the data to start again, but it simply used the previously saved data. It was my favourite previously, but now i am failing to work with it.
it was awesome and I put all my information in it for planning. and today when i went to go through my plans the app keeps crashing. I've restarted my phone, uninstalled and reinstalled the app. It just keeps saying it's stopped working once it opens. now my lists are all gone. I tried to login from my pc and it doesn't show me anything. I just want my guest list.
I was excited to see a new planning app but it is clear there are still some issues to iron out. For example: Why does the app immediately presume an overspend when you enter your max budget? This means that first thing you see is a sign saying you are over budget. Also you should be able to click on the budget on the homepage and be taken to the budget tab. Also, when using the checklist, if you tick an item off on the "all" section, it takes you back to the "this month" section rather than letting you continue to tick off itema in the "all" section. Also, the timings of items on the suggested checklist need reconsideration. Currently, it suggests I choose my maid of honour and best man only 2 moths before the wedding.
I loved this app at first. I used it for months until I actually starting paying my wedding deposits. It then came to my attention that the budget calculates incorrectly. When a partial payment is paid the amount left in budget increases as it calculates from this partial payment instead of the original whole quote as before. This could lead to overspending. Seems like a foundational requirement and makes the entire budget tool useless.
The app is a bit laggy, response in some UI is slow. UI could be a bit more vibrant or saturated. Otherwise, functionality is good, simple and to the point. Tried using other wedding planners which are too cumbersome with too many menu options, navigations etc.. this one on the other hand is much simpler and thus, better to use
It updated again, and everything has been wiped again! The first time I asked to get my stuff back, you guys said it was avalible!
Rage inducing! wouldn't let me delete or change any of the preset items, i.e. maybe I don't want flowers in the Beauty and clothing section but in decoration section of the budget. data has to be on to update anything which is bad for me cause I keep my data off so my old phone doesn't eat it all and then I can't update my budget or notes when I think of something else that I might want to add. disappointing app, looks like it's back to the old pen and paper days.
It has good features and is easy to understand. I like the to do list. The only problem is the budget section. You can easily triple any amount there and still be unrealistic. If they fix that I'd be impressed
This app is amazing, it is simple and doesn't have all of the unnecessary options other apps had that I really didn't need. It's very customisable and doesn't advertise to me every five seconds. Perfect for organizing my low key, low budget wedding.
This is amazing! Exactly what I was looking for to help me organize wedding with tasks and budget. It is good to have an agenda or binder for hard copies of contracts and stuff but this handy app you can use you it on the go and customize! So glad I found it.
Love the interface. Easy to use. Love that it has a customisable template for budget categories and items. Works perfectly on my tablet, occasionally crashes when using my phone. But overall super happy and would definitely recommend
It's pretty nice, but there are some minor issues. It crashes every time I try to tick off a to-do, and so far there's no space for a guest list with check boxes for RSVP, those would make this app perfect!
It helped put everything into context. I didn't know where to begin with planning the wedding. The tasks / to do list allowed me to focus on the important stuff only. It is a great app that I will recommend persons planning any event use.
love the inspiration to go with each major component, and the breakdown of costs that you can amend to your wedding. Wish the budget went down on front page as a guide to what you have left to pay instead of total.
Tried to use the app however had issues with it crashing one deleting the default list. Contacted them directly for help and the had me back up and running very quickly. Highly recommend!
I can't invite my partner to collaborate thru Wedbox Apps. I already input my partner's mail and name but seems like the apps send no response after i clicked "save". Pls fix this 😢 note: I already sent an email to wedbox. edit: my problem solved. thanks!
Ok. Nice colour scheme and layout, intuitive enough. Slow response when checking. Some links for Inspiration don't do anything (e.g. link to online software for table planning). Uninstalled.
I lost all of my data when the app changed from Wedbox. I have emailed support twice and have not received a response. I kept all of my budget info on the app, and I am really gutted that I now have to spend the time to go back though everything to try collate this information again. UPDATE: After resolving the issue above (because of the app change) my data has been lost AGAIN. That is twice in 2 months. Do not trust this app with important information!
