Wedding Planner - The Knot

I wish there was a better way to download the guest lists, and to share the guest list with others without having to leave it up for display for everyone to see. I know it can be optional but I don't want to send it as a excel file each time. There should be a better way for the planner to share messages and guest lists with whom ever without having to expose the list. Besides that, this app is excellent. Very well thought out. Leaves almost no room for error! Love it!

Great option for wedding planning. Allows you to get everything in one area that you can access from anywhere. Even if you don't use their vendors/stationary/etc. They allow you to add what you need and delete what you don't! Made it a much smoother process and gives you a place to start planning while keeping things organized as you continue. They also don't bombard you with ads just to use their site, huge bonus. Takes a minute to navigate but very easy once you figure it out.

Overall, this app is wonderful. Was a super helpful, convenient tool. To be able to make adjustments at your fingertips. However the desktop is much easier to use and navigate. A slight frustration I had was getting a notification, I would click on it, and it would just open the app. It didn't show me the reason for the notification. So I ended up searching for the notification.

Super helpful app for wedding planning! Just wish it was more customizable like we couldn't add any item from anywhere and we had difficulty editing the budget. We also had an issue with family out of country being unable to access the registry. But overall, I liked it better than Zola!

The app is great for organizing things for a wedding. I wish there were things like seating chart generators. Also, a bit more customization would be nice if you aren't having a very traditional wedding...like deleting or adding pages on the website.

Perfect! It's actually very handy, even for a small wedding! I love it! The ONLY thing I wish it had, was collaboration ability with the groom, and maybe even wedding party, but definitely the groom, so they can login and change or add things within the same account. Other than that, it's perfect! I don't give 5 starts very often!

For a first timer who had no idea where to even begin, this app helped me get organized, and to not forget anything!! There is a lot for a wedding that you don't realize until you plan one, especially on a budget. I liked this app better than the rest because they offered me options that were best for my situation, not their political beliefs or agenda, like other apps! I need a planner for free, and that's what I got!!

A lovely app. Has helped me plan my wedding myself from start to finish. The websites are so easily accessible and easy to create, as well as finding vendors of any type. They are super useful but also make sure you do your own research because they don't offer everything. Congrats.

I'll download this app again and again. The UI is easy and cool. However, I hope that it will be improved so that people can search contacts when adding them. It takes a lot of time scrolling for contats to be added.

Its so much easier to plan the big day bc everything is right there, You dont need 500 apps or phone numbers stored. Its all right in the app. It gives you options on prices, If you need to go alittle cheaper. I enjoyed picking my style and it was spot on, Which is rustic and romantic with a touch of vintage like a garden vibe. I even found a place where I live that houses 300+, But was only 2 dollars signs and its gorgeous.

Super easy to use and really convenient early on in the wedding planning process. Setting up RSVP's was a little confusing at first, but customer service responded to me quickly and helped me out! The only downside to the RSVP's online is guests must enter their name exactly as you list it as a guest...not a big deal... overall great app!

Your guest list and info doesn't share or download as well as I would have liked but other that that it was so easy to use and setup. Made my wedding planning year so much easier.

I love the set up of this app. I am currently using this app to help my friend's wedding, as I am the maid of honor. It is really nice to see people's reviews on venues and vendors. It is so convenient. That, and the budgeting tool for the estimated and the actual price has shown us where she needs to prioritize what it is she wants most in the wedding. Really it is a weight off both her shoulders and mine.

It really helps to pull the wedding together in an easy way. The time schedule, the vendors, the visual ideas. I'm really happy to have found it. Can't compare it to anything else as it's the only wedding planning app I've used but it sure is making everything so much easier.

I love this app!! I pretty much planned my whole wedding with this app. It's so easy and convenient. I found it so easy to connect with vendors and get quotes. Response times were quick as well. The ability to make my own wedding website and give all the info out to all of our guests was amazing. Love this app.

Overall I find it very useful. My one pain point is with the process for integrating your registry with other stores (like Williams Sonoma), maybe it's on their end but it makes me recreate my account each time I switch over and I can't access the same registry.

Someone sent me a wedding invitation this way and I thought it was awesome. Now I'm using it for my wedding, there's a learning curve, but once you get going it's great!! The hardest part for me was putting in the guest information, but there's a way to upload your guest from your contacts. I love it love it. I highly recommend it.... No stamps for invitations, I texted everyone their RSVP, plus they picked their meal choose. Get this app.... Good luck!!

Only complaint would be the need for a seating chart planner. Other apps/sights offer them but not the Knot. It was a pain to reenter that info into a different program just to use the seating chart planner. I would have used a different sight had I know it was not offered on The Knot.

The app is helpful, but when I get a notification of a new RSVP and click on it, it doesn't take me too that RSVP. I have to navigate to the first list and figure it out. The desktop version is way more user friendly but still not super easy when I comes to RSVPs.

I entered into planning my wedding all deer in the headlights. I was terrified. However The Knot came to the rescue. It was like a constant guide helping me along the way and keeping me to a schedule so I didn't miss out on anything. They even create your wedding website which you can customize. It offered an option for your registry and you could set up an online cash fund as well which was helpful. I am forever grateful. My wedding came out amazing and The Knot played a huge part in that.

I'm so disappointed in the messaging service! We had to resend SO MANY emails and the delivery status on the website was all wrong. Took way more time problem solving it all than it would just sending out emails individually.

The app has been very helpful. The checklist is helping me remember things, and helping with things I didn't think of. I can adjust the due dates to fit my schedule. I love the options on the free website to manage rsvp, travel information for the guests, notes to guests and much more that I haven't made use of. Yes, there's plenty of advertising, but it's easy to ignore and at other times useful.
