The app works very well for preparing mixes on the go. But the battery usage in background is unacceptable for a paid app! My phone went from 100% to 0% in a day, and 60% was attributed to WeDJ background activity while I didnt even use it in the past days! So what is it doing 'in the background?' The app should be totally idle when no music is loaded and the app is in the background.

3 for now. Finally, the update has been released. Thank you, Pioneer and its hardworking and talented developers of this app. It could have been 5 if it is bug-free and stable. Unfortunately, my DDJ 200 won't connect to the app at first. It connected once but after more than 10 seconds, it got disconnected. Transition FX is not working. I hope you can fix it. Keep it going. Nice Dejay application, missing some features. I do not really understand how the playlists work here? As the Playlist feature is not really working (at least for me) , it would be nice if there was a way to show the enclosing folder of my music files. Concluded, missing is a way to prepare my sets. A other nice to have would be the ability to change the displayed key to the Camelot style..

While the app is very well laid out and easy to use, it is unfortunately not working properly with the DDJ200 controller and Note9 (as well as a number of other Samsung devices from what I hear). The latency makes it useless for DJing normally. If you use sync only then maybe it could work for you. If they can update and fix it, this is a 5 star app for me.

I can understand the desire for money, but how is someone supposed to evaluate the mixing functionality when playback is interrupted at the end of each song, even when skipping to near the end? Time limit it to 10 minutes of playback if you like - that'll prevent anyone from using it against your wishes - but without being able to mix at all, there's NO way I'm going to buy the full version.

The app works perfectly fine and has been surprising me regularly with new and outstanding features. However, all these features are useless if I cant access any of my music on platforms like Spotify. Moreover, its pointless for Pioneer to design this app compatible for ddj200 if it doesn't let us access our music from our regular use platforms. Its been almost a year ddj200 is out and there's no upgrade on access for music. would really appreciate if these changes are made. Cheers

Amazing features to manually mix and play from a smart phone but its absolutely absurd there is no option to change the settings for the cross fade length. It ALWAYS cuts off the last 30 seconds of the songs. Sometimes cutting off part way through the last Verse/chorus. I will upgrade this 2* rating to 5* once crossfade settings are included in the app.

Its a great app apart from one HUGE problem. The Ddj 200 works apart from the fact I can't scratch or cue up songs using the jog wheels. The timing of when I touch the jogwheel forward and back is completely out of sync... Massively so when I scratch forward it takes ages to respond then goes too quickly!! Thus only allowing me to cue using my phone (Huawei Mate 10 pro) by touching the screen. Please please Pioneer can you recommend a fix for this??!

I have the 200 and my biggest problem is layering more than one effect at a time (like pad fx and hot cues... Why have 8 pads per deck if you only use 4 and cant assign more)... The effects dont load every time leaving you to restart the app. Android users (like me) apparently get the short end of the stick with streaming services and compatibility.

I like this App. Which is why I bought it. But there are a few issues with it. First the crossfading is set to random by default in automix mode. It couldn't be changed. You can't automix Taglist and you can't create playlists. It doesn't see folders either. Please fix these issues and make this App fun to use.

The best app I've ever used for mobile djing. I have the DDJ 200, but I have one major problem. The transmission effects button doesn't show or work whatsoever with android. Please have a look at that during the next bug check or update. Would have been a 5 start if the transition effects and phrase sync worked.

I rate this 3 stars because it will be better if you could stream music with spotify, pandora, soundcloud, etc... But since you cant, it makes this app pretty bad. Also its ok because it is compatible with the DDJ-200 and you can use it with it. I hope they improve this app and make it better. Overall, it's an ok app if you dont mind not streaming music from a music app.

This is maybe the better dj app on playstore. It needs only few things to be by far the best The sound for samplers are too law The recorded footage should be atleast in m4a or Mp3 format for esay editing it elsewhere. To make cue button more instant when pressed, some songs don't match well so we have to start them using cue button but it's not accurate, it lags behind And in wave form, make it able to match the unmatched songs manually through long pressing on either side of the wave form.

Using it with the Pioneer DDJ 200, everything is top notch except for the sound output which is just horrible compared to other dj apps. Even with good sounding speakers the sound quality is very low. And there are some missing features that are found in the iOS version but other than that, the app is pretty solid.

Using with a DDJ-200 and the latency makes it nearly unusable. I've tried the DDJ-200 with other DJ apps (Djay & edjing) and latency isn't an issue at all, so it's something to do with this WeDJ app. I've also tried the same DDJ-200 with an iOS device and there's no latency either. So somewhere along the line they've stopped trying to fix the latency on the android version. Everything else is great! But the latency is a deal breaker.

Tried all other DJ apps ! once I converted my audio files to flac using playback.fm this app is simply phenomenal ( as you would expect from pioneer ) If you wish to up your game just using your phone then this is the only app in the play store worth looking at . I used all the top DJ softwares in play and the top 5 all have varying issues and the rest are a waste of time . If you want to mix proper on phone or tablet install this app , it works with or without external CDs 👍😎

Really good visually and runs smoothly on Pixel 6 Pro with no connection issues to Pioneer DDJ200, the only issue I have is for some reason I'm getting different BPM readings compared to other DJing apps, not sure if this is because I'm only mixing Drum & Bass music but it doesn't make it easy to put together sets due to the inconsistency of the BPM readings which is a shame because if it wasn't for that I'd only be using this mixing app

Everything is more or less ok. This is the first trip in this kind of controllers with mobile app... Looks ok, works ok.... But where the heck is transition fx button gone? I checked all tuts for it, and looks like the button is gone. Please support, if it exists. Where is the button gone? How to activate ddj 200 transition fx feature?!?!

I really need an option to search for music with a folder hierarchy or a file explorer. Also the ability to manually select where the app will look for playlists is crucial to avoid having it show many irrelevant useless ones. With these features it would be amazing.

UPDATE: Please include import playlist from folder option on urgent request basis. Hi, i just love this app why this app is left out without any updated for over year? there is more improvement required, i.e mixer & fx becomes non responsive, hot cues plays continuesly, lack of multi loop hot cues feature, no single filter fx, snap to grid dont work 100% all the time, sync is not 100% all the time, and more to improve will update later. Thank you, Pump in more Power into this app.

1.It only allow me to mix 2 songs, the third song doesn't load, instead it freeze for some seconds. 2.The mix I made sounds horrible. Please fix that and add "folder" where we pick songs. I haven't spend much time on it
