Welcome to Folklore Manor! Anime Girlfriend Game

Another game I finished in November 2019, then I completed it again in January this year. I don't understand why this one is at the bottom of the ranking list on their website. It has a decent plot and, the characters are okay but, the premium choices ARE AND WILL ALWAYS BE A PROBLEM! Maybe that is why Folklore is at the bottom. Although I notice that the price decreased a bit so, that's somewhat a good sign? Besides the cash-grabbing choices, the head and side stories are pretty good. Good job Genius, I like this game, to be honest.

While it's better than the previous game, it still isn't quite up there with some of your better games. I'm still waiting for Genius Inc to perhaps changes their format and have maybe a story arc for each girl (allowing more time for us to feel connected to the characters and perhaps it'd make for a better story) especially if you won't make the game have more chapters in general.

The art is good but the premium is awful and far too expensive. Spend your money somewhere else since it cost gems to pick a good answer (if not you only get bad answers) and you need tickets to advance the story! I wouldn't mind paying for a set price but paying $2 to only be able to answer 2 premium answers (This is a VN so a lot of choices you have to make fyi) is just being money hungry. I'm sure the game has a good story but I ain't paying to find out with those crazy prices.

great game, like the others. again as people are constantly complaining, the premium choices are annoying. but its worth it. but when u turn down the volume, it should turn it down for the minigame music (which can get annoying after a while) too. btw could u cook up something like f&f or tokyo drift. u know q foreigner (u) comes to tokyo after an incident, and gets in on the racing scene. that be nice. and for the girls maybe they could represent the regional catigorie of the cars (NA, AS, EU)

Just amazing. Wow. Okay firstly the story was great and I absolutely loved it. The girls were all cute and I never thought that they all would absolutely be loved by me. (I had a really hard time choosing one xd) A definite 10/10. Don't mind the tickets and gems since you need to make money too. The review might be short but I think it sums up everything quite well.

Honestly I'm disappointed in all of your games simply because of the diamonds and premium choices. The stories on the other hand were amazing and well thought out but would have made more of an impact if I could actually play through the whole thing without having to pay for a choice.

This company writes the best romantic stories and makes good choise functions. Overall, this game has an outstanding romantic experience with some drama keeping it exciting beyond the romance. The unlockable choises you'll want to use take too much time to unlock or are too expensive in real money. So this is five stars for you if you have the patience to grind for the crystals or the real money to buy them.

Game is good, but having to buy your way through it is very unappealing. Instead of buying gems for choices, there should different clothes you can buy them, which change how they answer question and deal with situations. Overall great game for a small weeb.

While I do Love these stories ☺️ The Crystals & tickets are too expensive not everyone has the money it would take to get through the story. Maybe you should think about a fixed reasonable price per story That would make it more affordable for a bigger audience Still very enjoyable I recommend it😁👍💯

I with every one the premium choices, it was the issue. when ever it comes to love moments and u don't have enough gems it Kinder feel like you getting kicked in the teeth when u wrecked the moment between your player and the one you love. It would be more awesome if the story's are more longer. It would be more fun if u get like 5 more gems when you finished a chapter. I wonder what if it would be like if you can see the actions of when the NPC picks things up. sorry if I dont make sense.

Looks interesting for as far as a got but needing premium currency to make choices in a VN defeats the purpose. I would rather pay for the game once and just have everything available.

This one was a fun ride to be on. I've been playing your games since My Vampire Girlfriend and I can say that these games are the best thing that ever exist. Keep it up! Also, maybe you can make a My Zodiac Girlfriend which would be really cool since I love the Zodiacs!!! Just an idea but thanks again.

Their storyline is awesome and wish it be remake on anime 😍😘 All the characters were great and there also plot twist man so yeah really awesome But I wish it can be improve by making the story longer and we can actually make our own appearances. Also I got a bit c OK confuse when I though the guy was actually me but the true is that the guy face are kent hahaha so yeah

Seemed good at the beginning, but then, after you start trying to develop a particular relationship, you have to pay reaal money. This totally changed what I thought about the game. This game is horrible. The creators are dumb. I recommend that people don't play this game, unless they want to purchase way overpriced gems.

Only 4 stars bc i haven't played this one yet but ive played a bunch of your games and all i can say is that they are wonderful. Lovely characters, music is nice and girls are cute. I find myself actually feeling for the characters at the end of the game but it seems pointless bc no matter what you can choose any of the girls no matter what you picked to say or do with them. But still i love your games, keep up the good work 👍 Btw im always SUPER jealous of the protagonist, bc of the girls 😅

Compared to other dating games from the same company, the major themes of this dating game is yokai-human relation, family-like relation, politics, and cospiracy. There is also a misunderstanding comedy at the first chapter and some violence near the end of the plot. There are several good music with themes on supernatural, comedy, action, and drama. The gameplay is the same as the other dating games of Genius Studio Japan Inc: three capture targets with different personality for the player, one ending for each heroine with a possible fourth non-romantic ending, temporary script change from each player's decision, and premium choices that requires in-game diamonds. The player need to access each episode in sequence and can loop back to the first episode after they finish the last episode. However, they can repeat an episode if they had not continue to the next episode. Except for the first episode, the player need an in-game ticket to access or repeat each episode and the ticket can be obtained with real life money or by waiting a few hours. After the player have two tickets, they cannot obtain more tickets by waiting. There is a casino minigame to obtain in-game currency that are exchanged for either diamonds to access premium choices or ticket to access chapters. The rewards from the casino game lessen after each win in each day.

The story is nice and enjoyable. But the none premium choices are punishing. It would be best if only the none premium choices didn't make us look so pathetic. But overall it's pretty good.

This is a not fun game I would not recommend it but if you have to waste money or your time then sure go ahead there are no interesting characters and it's the same game copy and pasted from the other games made by this developer and not entertaining I would rather watch paint dry and just be as interesting as your character

I loved every step of the way. I really wasn't expecting that ending! Although I do expect good games from this developer which they constantly deliver on that expectation, might I add. Would recommend!

Nah.. This games a waste.. Why do we need diamonds just to choose the way. I don't even to spend money to decide in my real life than y the game wants us to choose. I end up choosing the non paid diamond one and I don't really get the satisfaction.

When i use all diamonds for all premium choice....in the end all three girls are so beautiful and hard to choose..really good game...take over 1 months to use all premium choices on all episodes..but this game is worth it...i hope you can make more interesting game in the future..💖

You don't need to spend money to complete the game. It will however take a long while. I do like the fact that it isn't all romance. It is an actual story. Good characters and tough choices.

I like the game play but the way the roulete system and premium choices work make it take up to much time on just getting the jewls for a good and fun game other than that its an overall good game.

It's cute. The premise of dating charmingly eccentric girls who happen to be "monsters" is endearing. I look forward to seeing how it plays out.

Well yuki is the sweetest girl. Genius Inc games are awesome but it be more great if they show the main carecter us and it's a 18+ games so there won't be bad thing if they show the scene too like kissing and all. And some carecter movements can improve games as well now i would like to play my gamer girlfriend where we dive in video game and slowly meet in real life and one of the girl should be wife in game so last when we meet irl we will find out that same girl is our wife in game.

I'll have to give this app 4 stars because you have to play many rounds in the mini-game to get gems to pursue a relationship with your love interest.I would like it better if you were given a few gems at the end of each chapter

One of my favorites. Love the twists in the story line. Serious but also funny, leaves you wondering what's gonna be in the next chapter. The fox is my favorite girl download and find out who she is.. 🔥😉💯

I love character development and I love this game and it is a great game to play. Keep making more and I would want to see the next you guys make for the next game. You guys are doing awesome for these stories. I love all the games that are already there.

Cute story, but a lot of choices require payment, so it comes across as pay as you go. I'll pass.
