The weld area is protected from atmospheric contamination by an inert shielding gas (argon or helium), and a filler metal is normally used, though some welds, known as autogenous welds, do not require it.

Does not load anything beyond what i consider to be the main menu. I tap on welding helper and a loading circle pops up and only spins for several minutes. Was excited but was let down. plz fix?
Didn't work at all. Every "link" just dead-ended at the Google Play Store.
Can't zoom in way too small to read on phone

Not a bad app, but wants FAR TO MANY PERMISSIONS. About half are not needed.

This hooked up to my radio and flashlight and was used to run a targeting system for a battle cruiser made from old tonka dump trucks . Very good texting too.

I mean I can see that whoever has put this together, has done a fairly broad educational guide book and it's quite good. It lacks a clear focus on welding as an industrial process, and it has no welding calculators i.e. TIG - metal type, thickness, electrode and cup sizes, amperage, polarity etc. And we the other 95% of the worlds population who live outside of Murrika use only metric. It is basically all in stone age.

The letters are toooooooo small and you cant zoom in it. Toooooooo hard to read.
The ads cover vital information on the pages, making the app unusable. Cannot rate what the app is really like, because I have not been able to see it.
The adds on this app make it unusable.
This app appears to do nothing itself. It links to other apps. The welding apps do not exist, the cad and cnc apps do exist, the ring helper links to a game, and there is a link to a website that chrome suggests I do not vist for security reasons. There is also a news feed tab, not sure why. As a welding app this is useless for me. There are no disruptive ads, but also nothing for them disrupt.
