It is a really great app easy to use and it downloads in the app itself. Iwish i had used it when doing a walkway on wednesday. Be great if it could the poririua and kapiti areas as well well as the hutt valley
Downloaded a walk through the app. Pressed start tour. Flashes a white screen and then brings me back to the main page
Would work a lot better if the walks listed in the brochure were matched by the list in the app!
Very out of date and not able to follow easily to do the walks
easy to use and full of great information
Great app for wellington, you can download the walks for use offline, the route map is easy to follow (i prefer the route map to the text). Turn your gps on and you can see where you are relative to the walk in question. Would be good if doc added their walks into the same app. Covers large and small walks inside and outside the cbd. No paper maps available for these walks any more so the app is what you have to run with...
As a Wellingtonian, I learned things I didn't know about my own city! The info for the different walks is choice and the maps so far are good. The foodie one I didn't look at, and feels a but out if place, but i guess would be good for tourists. I would love to see more local walks added...maybe even something in collaboration with doc? And a bit more info on specific flora and fauna, but that's just personal preference. :) chur. Great app.
This is so cool. Now I have all the spots to grow my photography portfolio righr here on my phone. I wish every area in NZ had one of these apps.

Doesn't show maps of where the walk is or how to get there
Map? Poor. Mostly images of food. I wanted walks, hiking.
Very annoying map tool!! I'm trying to zoom out to see where the walk actually is in the area, but before it loads, the map is trying to auto zoom back in with a bouncy irritating style that half the time doesn't even land on the walk route. Nothing I try seems to stop it! Why make it do that? Why can't I zoom in or out or whatever I like?? Aaarg!
