WeParent

Top co-parenting app - designed by a Stanford Ph.D. in Psychology.

WeParent was featured by Parents, Romper, App Advice, NBC, ABC, and Forbes.

Co-parenting is challenging. WeParent makes it simpler.

Manage your custody schedules, organize calendar and lists, share information, and exchange messages – all in one place.

Start with a FREE 14-day trial – and then pay just $9.99 per month for the whole family. The first person in the family pays, everybody else joins for FREE.

Here is how WeParent simplifies your co-parenting experience and helps you stay organized:

1. Custody schedules. Use WeParent to set up your school year, summer, holiday, travel and vacation schedules. Start from our convenient built-in templates or use a custom schedule. Then track and manage changes to the parenting calendar, so that there is never any confusion about where the kids are staying.

2. Family calendar. Add your kids’ school events, after-school activities, doctor appointments, and anything else you need to track. Your spouse or co-parent and any other family members that you invite will be able to see all of these events too and pitch in to help when needed.

3. Shared lists, updated real-time. Use lists to create to-do lists, shopping lists, chore lists, packing lists, guest lists and more. Then check and uncheck items as you complete them. Your family will see the information updated in real-time.

4. Real-time messaging. Exchange private messages or group messages with anybody you invited to your family. Having all of your communication in one searchable archive makes it easy to retrieve the information whenever you need to.

5. Important contacts and information. Share your kids’ shoe sizes, school report cards, immunization records or photos with your family members quickly, easily and securely. We integrate with your phone’s camera, photo library and contacts book (with your permission, of course), and keep a searchable archive of everything for easy reference.

6. Record-keeping. Everything shared on WeParent is permanently archived, and can be retrieved for your review or for use in court if needed.

7. WeParent data are stored securely in the cloud and can be accessed from any device. All data entered into WeParent belongs to you, and you only. We never sell, share, or exchange your data.

When you sign up, you are automatically put on a FREE 14-day trial that gives you unlimited access to all the features and functionality. After the free trial, the app costs $9.99 per month for everyone in your family. This includes you, your spouse and/or your co-parent, the kids' grandparents or nanny, and anyone else who needs to be in the loop. This is a recurring subscription, which you can manage directly on Google Play:

- Your subscription covers unlimited family members. You can add, edit, or delete family members any time by going to More -> Manage family tab.
- Payment will be charged to your Google account at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscription will automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period.
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current subscription period.
- You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal by going to your Google Play account after purchase.
- If you have any unused portion of a free trial period, it will be forfeited when you purchase your subscription.

I bought the lifetime subscription. When it works it's nice. Updating the calendar can take several tries before they show up. You can make changes view them everything looks exit the app go back in and the calendar is not what you just setup. I have problems now where I can only see the messages I send. I get the notification that I have a new message but can't see it. Not only can I not see new messages but all the messages sent to me are gone. It has been over a week and 4 different req

I'm a co parent and haven't had much success with this app. It seems a little "clunky". After not getting notifications for a week or so, all the messages from my x disappeared when you open the message. I've emailed tech support and have no response. I can see a preview of what he's sent me messages on there, but cannot see when I open the message.

If you're looking for a child support or shared expenses app like I was, you have found your solution! SupportPay is the best full-service platform for managing everything related to divorced parents. You can use the free version, or take advantage of the extra features included with premium. You'll be happy with either option, this company is great.

This app feels very beta or like it was designed for a 5-10 year old version of Android. Super glitchy. Pics upload sideways. Messages and attachments sometimes show up blank. Not intuitive at all and lacks basic functionality.

Pick a different app if you can. Glitchy, no desktop version, calendar extremely awkward, no expense tracking, cannot access image files uploaded. Messaging completely down several times over weekends. Message archive download seems to be working now but was sporadic previously. I used Our Family Wizard previously and it was much better.

Rubbish, paid for the trial, calendar doesn't refresh, have to click each day to see what the event is and then back out to month view and click each day individually so a terrible UI, it just doesn't flow well. Then calendar randomly deleted my test events and put in random 'template' ones. Then it randomly deletes those or my test ones. Rubbish

SupportPay recently acquired WeParent, which is a co-parent scheduling and communication platform. This adds the communication feature on top of the financial part, which to me makes this an all-encompassing tool for co-parents. Try it for yourself, you won't be disappointed!

Lots of bugs. Photos can not be zoomed or blown up except by sender/poster. No longer receiving notifications from app. Crashes unexpectedly and loads slowly for certain functions. Probably more that I can not remember but I recommend trying a different app.

I'm not receiving notifications, I can no longer see the ex-spouses messages to me or their response. I can't reach out them via actual text message because they've blocked my number. This app is useless and not worth the money to pay. I can't click on the pictures he sends to make larger.

It's so glitchy. It forgets all my calander details and messages often. Never works when I need it to. Unreliable. Have uninstalled and reinstalled several times. Even the forgot password function doesn't work, emails never get sent.

Since my last review this app has worked rather well. It helps with scheduling the times with kids and avoids any direct contact with me ex which is perfect. Cant wait until the kid are 16 and therefore there no need for this app. 11/02/2022 app very buggy can you fix

Just downloaded the app. We started out with a few user errors and the customer service is fantastic! They are super helpful and super quick to help with the needed fixes. On top of that they were super kind and friendly when it was our mistake. Cant wait to dive in and get started. We have used another app before that caused more frustration than assistance. This looks like it has an incredibly user friendly interface and will provide all the pieces we need to communicate better.

I have not been able to get this app to work. I have signed up with my email and it doesn't get beyond the subscription screen. It pops up with the error message at the bottom. But that doesn't stop them from taking my $10! I have tried to find their tech support, but it seems non-existent. I sent an email. Came back as unreachable. I lost $10 for an app that never worked once...

It's a decent app. If one is charging for a service though, it better be rock solid. This app is not. It occasionally logs me out, have to relaunch the app. The app is slow to load the calendar. It just doesn't seem very polished. I work at a software company, this would have never made it out the door. Ex wife took initiative and signed us all up, so I have no choice in the matter 😭

My only issue is the inability to open photos uploaded to the photos area, or document PDF's uploaded to that document area either. It will prompt to use the photo App on my S9 to open kt, but nothing happens. This has been the same for several revisions of the App now. Other than that though, a very useful and well-thought out App.

A great app for divorced parents, with an intuitive interface and a fairly complete feature set. It works well on my Samsung S9. Customer support is lightning-fast, with the CEO personally replying to all inquiries. I reported a couple of bugs, and they got fixed right away.

Started okay, now a different story. App doesn't send notifications at all, schedule is always off andi have to reset it constantly. They were great to work with on the cost, but everything else hasn't been worked out. Which is unfortunate the issues are happening now as this app is ordered per court documents.

The team here are amazing. Prompt support, very accommodating and helpful. The app is easy to use and I love that you can add lawyers or mediators to the app to help oversees communication. Only thing that I didn't like was uploading photo to the conservation didn't give me the chance to check i had the right photo. It just uploaded immediately. Otherwise very happy

This seemed like a God send, until it continued to crash when I edited the schedules. I had 4 schedules, one for during the school year, one for May, one for June and one for July. None were incredibly difficult, but it crashed at least 4 times per session. Disappointed. Too expensive to have this kind of error.

Lev. B. Feb 25, 2022

This app does not help co-parent if the other parent refuses to cooperate. It doesn't help them become more willing than not using the app.

C.. S. P. Sep 5, 2020

Glitchy and unreliable. I got kicked out and it won't let me sign back in. When I try to reset my password it says no account exists under my email. Prior to this the app never would let me edit existing appointments, you just have to delete it and add it again. Numerous other glitches occurred for myself and my ex and deleting and reinstalling the app didn't resolve anything after I tried everything else.

A. G. u. Sep 28, 2019

Terrible. App does not function correctly. It's slow, freezes, has constant unknown errors and notifications do not work. It also has limited tools to help with effective communication.

A. G. u. Oct 11, 2019

App works very smoothly on Samsung Galaxy 7, no problems at all. Quickly entered all rhe custody schedules, and they look correct, even though our handoffs are complicated. Looking forward to using the app with the family.

I am exploring co-parenting apps and like WeParent so far for ease of use. Unfortunately holidays are not overriding the parenting schedule on Android. If this were fixed I think it would be the perfect tool. Calendar, contacts, sharing with grandparents etc.

A. G. u. Nov 15, 2019

This app is horrible... The calendar is not flexible to make on the spot amendment and it's nightmarish to deal with because of the inclusion of pickup/dropoff hours which displays day overlapping on calendar... it's impossible to use and I hate it

A. G. u. Sep 10, 2019

I really love this app! I tried every co-parenting app on the market. I think this one is the most intuitive as far as the interface is concerned. And at less than $3/month it's quite affordable. Nicely done!

Mon. C. Sep 16, 2020

Constant crashes, location and notes won't save in some users enteries and ghost entries we can't remove. Reinstall did not correct these problems. Fantastic concept but terrible execution.

Lau. L. Jun 1, 2020

Easy to use. Bit glitchy sometimes. Just wish there was a fortnightly option for events on the calendar & folders to organise the documents.

Eli. R. Apr 11, 2021

Repeat doesnt work, cant repeat monthly 2x monthly anything like that. Calender doesnt work right. Have to choose the day before the day you actually want. Makes for an annoying app.
