Edit: lowering one star because they're so picky about the mobile check deposit. This app is really very limited. Meh. It does let you deposit checks, but doesn't go more than a month in the past to view transactions. And you can't look up your account information to set up online transfers. Honestly, a pretty big "strike" against banking here. If we end up switching banks, this app will be one of the reasons.
Works great for checking balances, making transfers, and now bill pays. I would have given 5 stars except that it seems the app goes down every weekend. I imagine it's for maintenance. What bothers me about it is that absolutely nothing can be done with the app while it's down. It would be nice if you could at least check your last known balance prior to the updating. Other than that I love it. New features are usually being added to make mobile banking more and more convenient.

Just got a new s22 ultra phone and now it won't load the app. I've been on the phone with Verizon for over 2 hours trying to figure out if it's my phone or the bank. I did call the bank and they said they had no complaints about this. Now I did try to use my wife's phone and it worked perfectly on her s21 plus. I really like the app because of it's simplicity and it's nice to see what's going on. I really hope they get an updated version out fast. I found this was the problem here on the reviews
Worked perfectly until my suddenly my password wouldn't work so my account was locked out. I called and they unlocked my account to reset the password but then nothing I clicked on the screen would work. Tried un-installing the app and re-installing it but it still won't work. I had no problems until my account was unlocked so i'm not sure why this is happening.
It is convenient. But, there's numerous times I have issues opening it. And I wish it allowed screenshots, I had to file a dispute against a company that would have been handy. I also would like to be able to click into each post on account to see what the balance is each post made etc.
The app worked great until mid September. My phone had an update and it won't work at all. States error message and to call for assistance. Recently had an overdraft fee on my account and I of course I didn't get an alert from the app so I didn't catch it. Irritating.
Stupid app has been saying that it doesn't recognize my credentials. Yet nothing has changed on my end. It's been doing this for over 3 days. I have no access to my online banking, and it won't except my credentials when I enter them. This is a recurring issue.
App has started crashing and started last week please fix issue!! I even sent an email to make you guys aware of said issue and the crashing has nothing to do with my phone updates or my internet nor data.
Me and my my mother have accounts with your bank and we both use this app. Recently mine has been saying "This app violated security policies and will be shut down" I tried redownloading it and everything, still says it. But my mom can login just fine... Could you please find a solution to this, I don't like relying on someone to tell me how much money I have in my account. Thank You!
Would be a great app, but it's frustrating as it doesn't like to open. I have reinstalled it at least 4 times so I could log in. Been 2 days since I been able to get in. Right now I am trying to see if a check cleared, but haven't been able to get in all day.
Every since I got the new galaxy s22 ultra, the app won't open. Just stays on the load screen when you first open the app. Please update and ill return to 5 stars
It's convenient and fairly easy to use. It helps me keep all of my accounts in one place for ease of updating, depositing checks, and transferring.
Ive called yesterday bout not being able to look at me account and the app won't open and still nothing is being fixed I'm always having problems!!!!
I got the new s22 ultra and app won't work. When I try the browser and see my account half the time that doesn't even work
It's a basic app that actually boots up only 60% of the time. It's very frustrating that I have to close and open multiple times before it boots up.
This is my very first time using this app. And I'd like to say thank you west Gate for your help. Especially to the young gentleman named Logan. He was very very helpful with getting me started. You guys have a great team. And so many improvements. That's why I stayed with you guys. 9 long years with my west Gate bank. Maybe far from my home. But every long trip is worth it. The latest update seems to prevent you from opening the app if you have developer tools enabled on your phone. I am a professional software developer, I use these tools to perform my job. This is ridiculous. I will be changing banks.
I really like this app, and Westgate Bank is the BEST. But notifications on the app don't work at all anymore, so you have to go in and check manually.
Super super easy and very very convenient. Saves me time. Saves me gas. I have multiple counts I use and I transfer the funds back-and-forth.
Last time, I tried to deposit a check, it failed, and I had to drive through the bank. I decided to give the mobile app, one more chance. If it doesn't work this time, I'm done trying to make it work !!
This bank has probably the worst IT department. They are great to deal with in person. But their internet system is a joke. It's like dealing with ATT, the internet technology guys! Really frustrating.
this app has a mind of its own sometimes, but it does what I need it to do! the mobile deposit for checks via phone is absolutely fantastic!
I loved this app and it worked great until the end of september. Now I get an error to contact the bank. Very disappointed
User friendly and feels secured. Calling in for help is easy talking to a local person.
After recent update it will not load. Just a white screen appears. Hoping another update will correct it soon.
