Nice game, but the fake AI is definitely rigged in the later levels. When challenging a boss, they absolutely are aware of what dice you hold. This is poor AI design. Good AI is fair but has a better STRATEGY. Providing more information to the AI than would be possible in real life is cheap and cheating. This is especially problematic since the game lacks a "Spot On" option.
Decent game. Kindof short and a little too easy, reading the other reviews they must've done allot of updates. They have the spot on option which does make it way easier, just wish it had more levels and smarter opponents. Good game though killed some time and I love liars dice and it's not loaded with ads like most of the free apps so no complaints.
I love the game! I'm a huge fan of anything western and I love the actual dice game as well. However, I would LOVE to see the following changes/additions to make this truly the best game: - Varying sound effects (The same ones get old) - An actual mixing of the dice animation - Further explanation of features (What is a whiskey and how do I obtain one?) - Faces for opponents (Pictures of outlaws, bartenders, barbers, natives, women...etc) - Personalization (Table/floor/dice options...etc)
Don't get me wrong, it's a good game to pass the time, but when you're challenging in later levels, the computer is downright absurd. Like, throw-your-phone-at-the-wall absurd. Who the hell rolls 5 sixes, twice in a row? C'mon, statistically that doesn't ever happen. The bosses are completely unrealistic.
The gameplay is fine, but you can't turn the sound off and you can't make spot-on bids. Edit: upgraded to 5 stars since the Spot On update released. I still wish you could turn the sound off in-app, but I can get over that.
A good game but limited by its Ai. It often has no idea what it os doing and makes some dumb decisions, and once you have figured out how to abuse it you have basically won. This is all the worse for the Special players. They are supposed to be smarter and my best guess is they are programmed to take more risks. What this results in is it making the most stupid decisions and being more or less useless. The biggest challenge in getting their die is keeping them alive long enough.
Game does not use statistical probabilities test it by betting 6 of anything every time when you control the initial bet the game chooses somewhat randomly if it's going to let you win or not and makes up the die after you select it another way to tell this is by the fact that you never get 5 or 6 of the same number
I find that, very rarely, do the AI players bid anything that they have. In my last game one of the AI bid 4x 3. They were called out for lying. When the dice were revealed, they had 4x 6. Why did that player lie when a real person would have said 6? I have now worked out a tactic. That works particularly well on 1vs1. Whatever they bid, if it is more than I have in my hand, I call them out. Works most of the time
The AI is stupid. One guy pretty much ALWAYS calls for a lie. Another will call for a lie on a bid of two 3s when there are 15 dice in play and he has a 3! Another round went one 4, two 4s, three 4s...and them the next AI calls Spot On...when HE HAS THREE 4s! (So he thought all three previous players had no 4s and were bluffing?) This stupidity makes the game unplayable.
It doesn't matter what I bid, the next player says "liar" and EVERY TIME I lost ! Even when guessing 2 like numbers ( 2 gives) Never stand a chance. RIGGED for sure in computers favor. Uninstalled!!!!!
this game is missing a rule which makes it worth 0 stars. In liars dice, you are supposed to be able to say if the opponent claim is true and it's not available in this game. just noticed that they are SUPPOSED to work on a spot on update but it's been told almost a year ago.
Fun game, however, the AI is way too easy to exploit, and doesn't offer any challenge. Still, if you're looking for a fun game to pass the time, you won't be disappointed!
I cant even play the game because the stupid ads block my play options. Either move the ad placement or get rid of them completely so the game is actually playable.
this game i loved since pirates of Caribbean. and the western reminds me of john Wayne, the king of western. the sad thing is he died after the shootest was made. but you know what is sadder, the fact the i know all this and i am 15 years old kid.😆🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😆 but for real this game is awesome. i will recommend it to anyone. but the down side is it is not on the apple iPhone, if you can put this game on the app store i whould love this game even more. thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!😎🥜🍗🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑
Seriously, the final boss will ALWAYS say you're lying, no matter what bid. The rest are all just as predictable. Gameplay is fine, AI is garbage. Literally zero thought needed to win.
Needs an option to deem the previous bet as 'spot on' as lie and bet aren't enough options. Also please introduce volume and sfx controls.
Awesome game. Easy to learn and fun to play. Some more customizations would be nice.
Very fun, helped me understand that one scene in pirate of the Caribbean.
Excellent fun. There is a big in the AI where Mandy in Bigcreak will call liar on 1 four when it has a four.
Sometimes it will work and sometimes it won't. It's quite literally a roll of the dice. But when it works, it's a great Liar's Dice app.
Simple. Perfect. Few ads. Good all in all.
Well presented, good sound effects and now with the spot on option it's a perfect game of liars dice thank you
Basic graphics but fun. Missing 'spot on' but a good game nonetheless
Only two stars because the game doesn't allow to bid true / spot on. would give 5 stars if it did.
Its just... Its so damn boring. No pizaz! Just so plain and boring. Not even a multiplayer
It doesn't have a mute for the music and souns but it's quite good
I can't turn off the sound. Why is that? The game would be ranked higher with that option.
I can't play the game since ads keep blocking the screen
Now that you've added ads you've covered the spot on and bid buttons...
In addition to my previous review, I've found a bug with bids. The AI can bid a lower number of a higher die face e.g. if five 2s are bid, the next computer player can bid two 3s, 4s, 5s or 6s etc yet I cannot do this. in this example if the computer bids five 2s and I bet next, the minimum amount the game let's me bid is (minimum) five 3s, 4s, 5s or 6s. This is inconsistent and puts the player at a distinct disadvantage especially when combined with the computer's ability to know your hand.
