Westland Click & Fix

Directed to this app from the city website while trying to schedule special pickup for garbage day. Couldn't find a scheduling option anywhere. Might be useful for complaints of potholes or streetlight outages. Posts I saw included those issues plus complaints about neighbors needing to cut grass or having messy yards (with pictures). I had presumed this app would filter reported issues directly to the appropriate city department rather than just airing them in a public forum for all to see.

Seems like a useful app, though i have only just downloaded it. We'll see how useful it turns out to be.

It's okay. The interface seems a bit clunky and amaturish. Most of the interactive icons are just hyperlinks to webpages. It would be better if there was an interfact to those pages. For example, the light out button could take you to the map, you select the location of the light out and the app fills in the DTE page in the background. I do like the city reporting interface though. There are always small things like roadkill, potholes, and broken sidewalks where I have no clue who to comtact to correct the issue and forget about it soon after. I look forward to future refinememt of this app. Honestly, every city should have something like this.
