It doesn't even open app, redirects to web browser version. Which was pretty disappointing since I was really hoping the app would be it's own actual cool feature.
Pointless. Just a separate app running the mobile website. No apparent features of any value. Clunky and slow. Save your storage space and just access WL through your browser.
It was already bad, because it was just a wrapper for a mobile website. But now it's broken entirely: just an unresponsive white screen. How bad at app development do you have to be to settle for a website wrapper and then screw THAT up?
Most important features of Westlaw are either non-existent or don't have working links in the app. Pretty useless.
It works well if you know exactly what you want to look up. But, I still don't understand why they haven't added a ctrl+F function, would make on the go research much more succinct.
Absolute POS. Disgraceful how in 2018 there can be an app of this kind that works so well on iOS but the android version is utter garbage. Why even make this app if you're not even going to try to make it useful.
Doesn't really work, won't link to uni account etc. Most functionality is not present.
Law Student here and every search is transactional? Oh and when I tried searching it crashed. Not the Westlaw I know!
Same as most people cannot even log on with westlaw next password
just use the website on the tablet...though that is still a pretty bad experience.
this app is terrible.. you'd think they could make it perform slightly better ...
I really like how well Thomson Reuters preserved the Westlaw feel.
Terrible. Not workable.
So far nothing but problems with WestLaw and this app.

Westlaw is great but this app is a disgrace. The functionality is so limited that it is almost useless. For example, when Key Citing a case, there is no way to sort the results. I just Key Cited a 1985 SCOTUS decision and there are nearly 3,000 cases that cite it, but I cannot sort the results by date, or otherwise. When I tried to search within the Key Cite results for "2018" to get to the latest cases, the app returned a message repeatedly that stated: "An error occurred when processing your request." Come on, Westlaw, give us a full-featured app we can actually use. Thanks.
This app has no increased functionality over using Westlaw in a mobile web browser... You can't highlight cases at all, which makes this almost useless. I can download a PDF and annotate it on my phone, but can't do the same in the app...
This app is garbage. I find you are better off using the mobile website. Especially since you cannot do a keyword search within the text of a case if you are using the app. DO NOT BELIEVE THE 5 STAR REVIEWS!
This app is horrible - for as much money as you pay for Westlaw this is literally an insult. To say this app is barely functional is an overstatement. I would rather use a physical book than this app. Ugly interface, difficult to use, lacking features, the list goes on and on.
Garbage. Couldn't even log in. Every attempt to log in I was kicked back to the main screen of my tablet. Uninstalled and reinstalled with the same result. Won't use again.
Terrible app. Works much better on iPad. You loose most functionality and its the same as the mobile app. Unbelievable that Westlaw would not develop a proper app for Android given the exorbinant subscription fees we all pay. I wonder if Lexis is better?
This app has such limited functionality that it's almost useless.
I can't even get the app to load properly.
Didn't use it yet but YouTube it seems legit
Will not load password. I fail to see how anyone could give it 5 stars
Really surprised at how poorly this app functions. I would have expected more. There is no benefit to this app over Westlaw's mobile web (both of which are abysmal).
No integration with web alerts on your account. Cannot use a majority of Westlaw Edge functionality in app. Does not even recognize Westlaw pages opened outside the app to offer to open them in app. Very clunky overall. I had this app 8 years ago in law school. It's exactly like I remember. That's not a good thing...
