Overall the app functions as it should. Although, please can I suggest that an update be pushed out allowing the user to reorder the accounts shown. A simple, hold, drag and drop would suffice. For those that have a number of accounts, or open new accounts we are at the mercy of where ever they appear and are unable to change position of, or reorder. Thank you.

Gets stuck on the payment authentication screen when given the option to choose between answering a security question or receiving a text message authentication code. I pick one of the options and press continue and nothing happens. It does not matter which of the two options I pick or how many times I try, nothing happens. I can repeat this process and it happens every single time. Can somebody please ring me about this problem.

The layout is awkward with titles only half visibles. When trying to pay someone the boxes to fill are not lined up with their respective description, some words are overlapping. Hard to type in the boxes. Tried to update, then reinstall to no avail. I used to have this app on my Huawei nova, it was working perfectly. Now using it on the Samsung galaxy A52 and it is terrible.

The app keeps authenticating, I have to uninstall it, then reinstall (at least 10 times so far) I am unable to view my account, I've contacted Westpac they said it was my phone, I've had the app for years and had no trouble with it this has just occurred within the last month

The only bank to remove android pay for customers without a replacement solution. We are locked in until our fixed term expires but can't wait to leave this shocking bank. Thanks for removing contactless pay methods when Google Pay already exists especially in the middle of a pandemic. Nice work!

My Samsung A71 was updated to Android 12 today and Westpac One froze mid process of transferring money absolutely nothing would unfreeze it had to reboot and finish the process on my S9 Plus on Android 10. My whole a 71 is sluggish so perhaps not indicative of a sole issue with just Westpac One but obviously I expect many other people will experience similar unless Samsung do something with this diabolical update.

I recently changed to a newer phone and even though ive deleted the westpac app on my old phone and removed it as a device alot of my alerts go to the old phone. It doesnt have a sim card so im not sure how this is happening. Quite frustrating, if there is a solution please let me know

Edit: THE WIDGET IS FINALLY FIXED! THANKS! If I could give westpac minus 5 stars I would! My widget has stopped working completely and it is very frustrating and annoying, I didnt realise how much I needed until it was gone. I have been waiting since the last update (on 29th November 2021) for the widget to be fixed, nothing has been done and hasn't even been acknowledged by westpac, FIX THE WIDGET! LATEST UPDATE STILL DIDN'T FIX THE WIDGET!

Generally OK to use. However on my Oppo A57 when the Online Guardian kicks in for a payment to a first time payee, I get to the Authorise Payment screen but the Send Code button does absolutely nothing. It is purple (I think) but doesn't appear to be clickable and no SMS is received. So I can't make my payment and that is the thing I most need it for, hence 2 stars.

App itself runs well enough. Widget has been really buggy for ages though, latest update "fixed" it from being completely unresponsive until removed and re-added to only being able to display the first of the selected quick access accounts.

App is okay, lacking some features and usability that a majority of other banking apps use. Widget is now also broken, will stop working and only say "avail" on the quick accounts bar....can only be fixed by removing and replacing the widget but the issue will then reoccur within a few hours.

Good app, but have a few suggestions: -when you are in a particular account and click pay or transfer, it should default to pay from that account. -the review payment and payment confirmed page look exactly the same. It's confusing. -in some phones at least when the keyboard opens to type amount, you can't see what you are typing. It's confusing. Now I know you can set up alerts for your accounts. Thanks for that. There goes the extra star.

I like the new feature of being able to logout by using my back button. Something I've been wanting for a long time. I think there's a bug with it, though. When I try to use the function from the 'pay/transfer' screen, it backs up to the main screen but won't log out. Works for every other one though. I still take issue with some of the pay/transfer mechanisms though. It feels really clunky. Feels like I'm fighting it to get it to do what I want.

Very very slow to load! Times out session before its 'fetched data'. This happens more often than not. A pain when want to quickly check balance. I bank with BNZ also and their APP works instantly so not my phone or data. A month later since wrote this first review and no change...can still not load. Very frustrating as we travelling and want to check balances. if not fixed I will have to cancel card. Hopeless and unsafe.

Not a bad banking app, however you shouldn't be able to cash advance off a credit card. If your in a rush or have fat fingers instead of putting funds onto your credit card, you can take funds out (cash advance). At the very least an additional warning in red show pop up reminding customers of extra fees and charges associated with cash advancing off a credit card.

Works fine. Only issue I really have is the annoying prompt EVERY time I try to enter text into any field, it always suggests I view in portrait mode, even though I'm already in portrait mode... When trying to rename accounts it literally blocks the screen and I can't see what I'm writing and it doesn't go away

Once the issues were sorted with the updated Westpac One app it became a great app to have and use. I only gave 4 stars as in the new app I wasn't able to block my debit card and I had to access online banking in order for me to block or unblock my debitcard. It wasn't too much of a hassle as I hardly used my debit card for online purchases etc. Very useful app.
