Westpac PNG Mobile Banking
Take your banking with you, wherever you go. Use your smartphone or tablet to check your balance, transfer funds between your accounts or to a friend or family member. You can also pay your bills, top up your phone, all via the easy to use, fast and secure Westpac PNG Mobile Banking app.
What you need to get started:
• A personal transactional account with Westpac PNG
• PNG mobile number that is linked to your accounts
• Last four digits of your Handycard or Visa Debit Card
• Be registered for Mobile Banking (*149#)
• A smart phone or tablet with Android version of 4.4 or above
• Mobile data or Wi-Fi
With Westpac PNG Mobile Banking App you can:
• Check your available balance.
• View the last 25 transactions conducted in a month via mini statement.
• Pay Bills to Westpac registered billers
• Transfer money between your own accounts.
• Top up your Mobile number or others within the same network as yours.
Secure Banking:
• The App is compatible with Android greater than version 4.4
• The App is enabled for Two Factor Authentication, a security feature whereby a code will be sent to your mobile number currently registered for Mobile Banking via SMS and you will be required to enter this code to authenticate and complete your transaction.
It is highly advisable to always log out of the app when not in use. Do not store your App login PIN on your device. Keep your log in access a secret.

If you are already signed up to Westpac mobile banking:
• Download this App and follow the prompts for a one off App registration process. (after this you will be able to use the app using only your PIN number)
Things you should know:
• If you uninstall the App you will be required to complete the one time App registration process again.
• If you change your mobile number you will need to notify the bank to be able to receive the code for Two Factor Authentication.

I installed this app purposely for convenient access to bank statements and I'm very dissapointed this app doesn't have this feature. Features/services here are very similar to sms banking (*149#). It ONLY gives transaction history - amount & date. That same info can be obtained via sms banking (cheaper because you dont need internet data). I want to be able to access and view more details on transactions.
One necessary item to be included should be bank statements and a printable option also included... I leave in a remote area with no Westpac branch, nearest branch being two townships away and requires days of travel just to have my statement printed, when I can just download at least a mini statement and have it printed from this app. Thank you for the app though, it is very very effective and necessary.
Rating this app a 1 star. So many steps to register in order to use the app. Come on Westpac PNG you can come up with something more user friendly. Can you also make it convenient by registering online for SMS and for resetting passwords instead of coming into the bank physically to access these services?
It's good but the problem is that I cannot transfer funds to other banks like BSP remember customer service should have a toll free number for digicel and other internet services providers....
The only good thing about this app is that you only get to view your balance. Nothing else. Can't even do a money transfer using this app. It Needs immediate updating 😒
It is really bad. You need internet connection to access the app. When I didn't have internet connection and needed to do transactions I tried using the normal mobile banking *149# it did not work and could not do any transactions.
I successfully registered and login, easy and convenient but include in the features of resetting pin numbers in the app as well.
I have been using this app and it really serves its purpose. However, since last week I am unable to transfer money to using this app. I was wondering if this is due to recent changes with Westpac PNG Ltd in the country.
Well just downloading was hard enough since wen is Westpac PNG I've never seen this title. And wot the? I already have the Westpac app on my other phone why would I have to register again? There is no other option than to follow registration steps. Which I won't as I'm already using the app
No statememt, no receipt for payment, no options for topup on other mobile operators. Only good for checking balance. Can the developers update this app?
I prefer the NZ "West Pack One" app. Needs more work. Should allow PDF statements. Come on west pac, step up
Cannot view Bank Statement or Updated Transaction History. The Amount and Date is always from the previous week or month.
App is great. If only the statement is optimised, it would be more greater.

Use the App ONLY if you have an active PNG mobile number either Digi or BMobile linked to your Westpac PNG Bank Account. Your PIN used in Mobile Phone Banking will work after your register for app from Mobile number linked. Great time saver if want to use as an added banking option.

A very truly amazing app.
Login is easy and straight forward however the app is very outdated compared to the Aussie one. When I want to review my latest transactions it shows purchases from a week ago instead. Also the app photos do not reflect the actual app. Looks nothing like the Aussie one shown on this page. Please update.
