Always nice to order from your table but my only problem is that you can't remove items from the menu which means I have to go to the bar at times because of something I want to change about the menu. Other than that it is very easy to navigate and use; I like the option of using Google Pay rather than inputting my card details but not being able to remove items is why I have given it 4 stars

If ordering before arriving I suppose this app makes sense. Otherwise it's both a more pleasant and efficient experience to just go to the bar. The app itself seems to function as intended. Additional options for drinks would be handy - blackcurrant and lemonade, for example, is impossible to order.

There is no option of not using the app to place a meal order. But if you have slow or no internet/cell service this is a very arduous process. Once it opens the app is easy to use, but for food that comes with various options it does not give the option of not having the extra (eg ice cream with the crumble)

This app is great for ordering food however when looking up the nutrients information it is non existent apart from the allergen part of it. It's great that they can cater for allergens on the app but it's not great when you need to know how much sugar and carbs are in the food you are about to consume. As it doesn't display this information on the menus or on the app.

The restaurant is brilliant. The app too. However when you rely on an app you need good wifi especially in a stone building. With no decent wifi I had to leave the table and go to the door. As I was eating alone I was risking losing the table I'd just left which is why I used the app in the first place! (Stamford post - NB Stamford being a town of stone there is not always a guarantee of a mobile data signal either making wifi even more crucial).

Overall fantastic UX, a well made app. Only bit that wasn't intuitive was that when I clicked search, I was expecting my keyboard to expand but instead I had to figure out that I need to click at the very top of the screen to get the keyboard to appear. Other than that, very well designed app with slick user journey.

I've been using the app since lockdown, liked it, it's easy to use and safe my time at the queue. The only down side is, the app won't shows 'manager's recommendations' on the menu, I always have to check at the bar.

Nice idea but needs a few tweaks and improved data. Unable to remove standard items from a menu selection so no good for my hungry child who wants a burger with no trimmings. The Allergens and Nutrition section is missing some menu items and also has no nutritional information. I'm interested in Carbohydrates (not just sugar) and everything is listed as 0, not very helpful.

Absolutely love this app. So well laid by out and so easy to use. All done from your table and not having to wait at bar. Only negative is they don't bring drinks with food and sometimes you need to ask for your drinks before you've finished food. Overall great experience

I think it it a great app to use. I would recommend a few changes: the card to be saved for purchased of the same day or just a pop up information explaining why the card cannot be saved. The pub that is confirmed as the one someone is present at, to stay saved as a pub, favourited or just not change on the system. A warning would suffice to remind the user the pub they were at before is still shown. I don't like to constancy search for the pub I sit at.

Overall, my experience with this application has been a positive one; it'$ easy to use and clearly laid out. My one small quarm would be that you can't, for example, ask for your drink without ice, or make small changes similar, without going to the bar - which sort of defeats the purpose/object of having an app specifically made to order at your table, haha 😂

Brilliant app. Much better way of ordering food and drinks. Order quickly without waiting for table service. Plus no need to walk up to the bar and queue for drinks. Also good for seeing what isn't available before ordering.

When using the app the food where a drink is included isn't working properly, for example the Fish & chips + a drink is £8.15 all together but it charges them seperate instead so you end up paying more than you are meant to. The man at the bar said they've been contacting the app team about it but it isn't being fixed

Easy ordering, brill app. Only issue is on food orders you are unable to make specific requests, cheesy chips for example comes with bacon and other toppings, no option to remove them (vegetarian). Otherwise absolutely spot on👍🏼

The card payment form has pasting of card numbers blocked. My bank uses virtual cards so relies on being able to copy card number from the banking app and paste into the payment, so this means that I can't use the wetherspoons app unless I manually type out the card number by continually changing apps. Very annoying oversight.... Otherwise the app is quite good :)

Everything was fine except for the scanning of my bank card. Appeared to be quite temperatemental, finish by inputting details by hand. Otherwise very efficient. Will definitely use again.

Fantastic wetherspoons staff are kind caring despite being immensely busy. I've never had a bad experience despite the ~30 times I've been here. Sometimes you have to wait for a table so clearly everyone feels the same way. Oh it's for the app. The apps pretty good too.

Worked well before, now tries to guilt trip me by showing me how many calories I'm supposed to have, and I keep getting the message that there are no menus. This has happened now in both Colchester and Birmingham NEC. Kindly fix your app, or at least roll back the changes

Option to remember payment methods would make it a lot easier. When ordering multiple rounds of drinks, and two separate courses of food, it becomes pretty tedious reenteing card details. Update - If you enter incorrect table number it's impossible to change (this is prior to completing order) this needs sorting

Pretty good but -annoyingly - Android inserts a space after your email address if you use the autopopulate button rendering the entry invalid as an email address and stopping you proceeding to payment/completing your order. Delete the invisible surplus terminal space (on an both the original entry and the 'confirm email' entry) then proceed as normal. The camera's cardreader function struggles because of the dazzling reflection caused by bright overhead spotlights (Sheffield The Foundry)...

App frequently hangs up at the "One more step. Finish paying at J D WETHERSPOON" stage. Sometimes when I then go back, it completes the transaction. Sometimes it doesn't. I'm then left wondering whether the order has been made or not. Maybe related to interface with PayPal?

The app is pretty good, very useful, but sometimes it says things are in stock until I add them to my basket and then it's suddenly unavailable. I'd like it to say my table number on my order history so I can double check I have the table right when I've been waiting a while

Great app one thing though when you order an item you can't go back to the same screen have to start over again. Just a bit of a faff that's all. But in general really great to use when the place is busy

Can't fault it, works perfectly. I wish I could add a note, to ask them not to bother with the "Guinness settling thing", because it can delay the drinks. Otherwise table service can be almost as fast as ordering at the bar.

Very clumsy and not intuitive at all. Switching between menus when making an order is difficult to navigate and loses the basket. It used to be very easy to navigate

Very good app generally, I rarely get any issues placing an order. Only issue I faced was where I was in one branch near another branch and my GPS auto defaulted to me ordering at the wrong one. Probably not the fault of the app but one to be aware of.
