New look app doesn't work on my smartphone. The old one did. Only changed very recently. Can locate local spoons but drink menu blank as is food menu. Useless. Others here saying the same. App orders seem to be going out in my local though. Does it work on some phones and not others? Can you get this fixed Tim?
Awful. Old app worked a treat for ordering to your table. New app doesn't work at all. Just shows a blank screen when you click the food menu. worse than useless as it takes up valuable storage space. Message to Wetherspoons: If it ain't broke, don't fix it. should have kept the old working app!
The previous version of this app worked fine, this one on the other hand refuses to load the food menu and is overall clunky. It's much easier to order from the bar. I wouldn't bother installing this, it's just a waste of hard-drive space.
The original app worked fine and I used it for about 18 months until one day it stopped. After several aborted attempts over about a month, I gave up until discovering the app had been replaced (thanks for letting me know Tim) I have since reloaded with the new app and it still doesn't work...... What was wrong with the old app anyway?
I always use weatherspoons pubs where possible. southampton "standing order" needs more bar staff as service is terribly slow. (I use cardiff pubsnormally). this app is vety good, but unfortunately the "table service" app needs the most up-to-date version of android. (My phone is version 4.4 so cannot download) this is a great pity for a traditional pub chain to not support a traditional android version!
This app is unusable. Crashes whenever i try to look for a pub and the menu does not display at all. Please, do not abandon the old app. That one at least worked fine. In the meantime fix this one or stay with the older one.
Very poor!!! If I could give zero stars I would. Old app worked well, this one will tell me where my local pub is, thanks I already knew that!! But the food menu doesn't load so can't order food, didn't bother trying a drink. Bring back the old app or a least make this one work.
Have a Samsung J3 .The previous version of this app (called order and pay) worked not too bad. Spoons then recommnded updating the app as the old one would be unusable from 21May. So did this , but guess what ,get a message saying this app not compatible with your device. Food menu page is blank. Back to queueing for me.
Absolutly pointless, can just use google maps for finding one, only function that this app should have is order to table and pay. why would i need to look up the drinks menu When i can ask if i have to go to the bar anyway. all i want from this app is to be able to order tableside.
Over an hour and a half spent trying unsuccessfully to connect to their 'cloud' Internet. Finally gave up and attempted to get served at the bar. I failed dismally. The staff are indolent in the extreme, unwilling to try and help me connect to the Internet or to serve me. Appalling service.
Useless. Does not work. Old version worked well and was useful when dining alone. Please address issues as I would like to have an app for Wetherspoons again.
App is useless. BRING BACK THE OLD APP. Refused me access to menu. Will not use it again. Utter rubbish.
What a waste of time that was. Downloaded the app,only to be offered blank pages when trying to look at the food etc that's on offer. Shall now promptly inns tall it.
Pointless now that you can't order from the table anymore. Don't know why they changed it as it worked fine before and service in all the pubs we visited had been excellent.
Since the other app closed, this app, when I've pressed to look at the Food Menu, it stays as a blank screen. This app doesn't work properly.
this is ridiculous, I have been using the app since it started with my Samsung Galaxy J 3 2016, great asset, told the system was changing and did as instructed BUT can't get on to the new system, keeps saying that my Samsung doesn't work! ? 😠,if this carrys on i will stop using the Muckle Cross in Elgin and use the local opposition The Granary in Elgin, another nice pub which at least allows a Tab system 😕, cummon Weatherspoons please reply 😕
this is not the app I wanted. I had the order and pay app on my phone, had to delete it for memory space and when I went to down load it again a few days later, I got this. Only app avaliable to me now.
old app worked. this one tells me where pubs are but the food menu doesn't come up. can't use it to order food. pointless!
Installed this while I was set in wetherspoon's. Main screen looks okay. None of the four menu options ever load up. Completely useless.
What on earth! happened to the original app?? I, for one, will not readily visit a Wetherspoons since you got rid of it, yet promote it heavily inhouse and on menus. PS. I used to visit every Tues Steak Club for 5 years.
Terrible. I could find a pub, but ordering anything - nope just a black screen. Very disappointing.
Blank pages on Android 4.4. I'm not going to replace my S4 (which is till working perfectly) for the sake of one app so will have to do without what would have been a very useful addition.

Installed the app to try to order food today as recommended in pub. Couldn't access the food menu at all. App is basically unusable for its stated purpose.
Old app worked fine. This one not so fine. Don't bother with it. You'll end up going to the bar to order anyway once you wasted your time with this app.
doesn't work just like the old app stopped working, I have a child so would find it so much easier to order food to my table since I'm here a lot....
App is useful but extremely neglected and out of date. Pictures of pubs do not show anymore, making it difficult to identify a particular pub. Would be useful to keep any pictures to the venue itself rather than of the food served. Perhaps the app, and features (especially the 'visited' and 'favourites' features could be migrated with the order and pay app to combine everything in one.
