I love chess and bridge and used to play in clubs. In all fairness, unlike chess, I know of no strong bridge software package. Saying that this version has a good layout and is user friendly, and bids quite well. My complaint is that the point count, hand after hand is often so even that one rarely goes even to the 3 level of bidding. This does not reflect duplicate bridge where one has a few game going hands and even the odd slam or two, where one can set up tricks and finesse.
Great game, there are absolutely no adds in the game. Great way to learn playing bridge and specially the conventions since there are two amazingly simple yet superb option when bidding. You can see a "bid analysis" that tells you definitions of all bids with a simple but clear overview of bid meanings and the total known information on all players on the board. The second "hint" is equally great since it shows you the meaning of all your possible bids and their values in each situation. Kudos
I've been playing bridge on this app for years (a decade or more?). I've tried a few others (pay & free). The creator(s) of this app clearly put a great deal of time and effort into it. AI can't come close to even those at my level (experienced social bridge), but this app is still a fun (and logical) play to unwind or take a break.
I just use the solitaire, solo games, which I find helpful because of a fairly decent hand-analysis program. Undo is useful to test different playing strategies. Would be helpful to be able to rebid and then replay, a feature I haven't found.
This was a fine bridge game... Then they released solo practice and it became a GREAT bridge game. All the fun of duplicate without needing to log into anything, without a persistent internet connection, without waiting for others. Really well done!
I am enjoying this application very much. The solo-practice feature is very helpful in improving my bridge skills. I play this game on my cell phone or on my PC system using an Android emulator for Windows OS . Thank you Webmaster for instructions on how to run this application under Windows OS. Also, thank you the WeWeWeb team for developing and supporting this application for free. I will pay you back by providing comments and suggestions. :-)
Hello, on my Samsung S5 with Android 6.0.1, when bidding all card symbols (club, diamond...) are black. After bidding and everywhere else colors are OK. On my tablet (much older, Samsung Tab 2 10.1) they are OK, red and black as they should be. Anybody knows why and how to fix this? I would like also to include in future versions the Natural bidding system, with some conventions settings, for beginners. Thank you!! It worked. What about the Natral? I hate ACOL, SAYC... Please think of this. Thank
weird. i could not get used to the antiquated graphics. it was very hard on the eyes and i could not readily assess the entire game because graphics clumsy and outdated. nothing else to say as i deleted app after about half an hour.
Love the app, good community of global bridge players!
Completely free and no ads. The robot is weak, but everyone plays the same opponents. Webmaster is responsive and constantly improving the game.
This is by far the best Bridge app I've found. The AI partner is the best I've come across. I've try the others, NeuralPlay, Bridge V+ etc. This app should have more downloads. Well done and thank you to the developers.
This is a great Bridge app, and has a huge amount of features considering its tiny size. Some more options that I would like to see - (1) A feature to play Duplicate teams with the Robot in parallel, i.e. I play with four Robots in one room, and four robots play the same hand at the same time in another room. (2) Please upgrade from PBN 1.0 to PBN 2.1 (3) In the Review part, there is an option to show how the Robot would play the card. Can there be an option to show how the Robot would Bid ?
You always have to play against three opponents here....They built this software in that way that you will never get help from your partner either in bidding or in playing...And when the other three player will know all of your cards there is no interest to play....Just a apps to fool you
If my partner robot was real I'd take it outside and beat it up regularly. Also robot opponents can't play 'no trumps' also partners point count is unusually low most of the time, finesse's rarely work. Love the no ads and speed of play tho.
most probably the only online auction bridge app that is absolutely free....i know the graphics can be better, but you cant complain if you are not paying anything....so 5star from me
This apps is awesome, with no annoying ads and a rank system that I can challenge others online to enhance my rank. Just curious how can this apps earn money in this situation.
Even 1 star I cant give. This game is creayed by people's with brocken mind. The target task is not to play bridge, but to show that whatever you are, no metter how good you play, you will be allways beaten by Robot. Program is designed to deal the worst cards to both yours sits. Fact is that more then 50% of hands finishing with result 0.0. The creators becomes so much arrogant, that if you try to replay the hand cards have been redealed in a way that finesse never to work.
I enjoy this game very much. Sometimes the robot doe not bid or play the way that I would. But overall I like it a lot!!
No nonsense bridge app. A stress buster when waiting in line. Done crazy but bidding or play. I play solo and I'm happy
I love to play bridge but nobody I know plays it. I have 1.25 hour commute and WeWeWeb helps me "bridge" the gap.
Good program, but could be a little more flexible about letting the usser choose which conventions to apply.
Terrible bidding algorithm by the robot in solo games! Very frustrating at times.
Great fun, easy to learn how to use it and it offers plenty of good suggestions under 'guide'
Very good. For five stars, need to be able to choose individual conventions.
Absolutely the best bridge app available especially because it is free with no advertisements.
Opponent doesn't follow suit. Bidding does not make sense. I've been playing bridge for years. Poor game.
Good practice, but some of the robotic bidding makes no sense at all.
colours of each suite should be of their original colour. All black suites very confusing to distinguish
I love this app. I like playing against the robots -- I can play as slowly as I want, I can go back (undo) and look at other strategies, I can review the meaning of each bid, I can get hints -- it's a terrific way to practice. Also, the interface is way better than other bridge apps I've tried, and you don't need an internet connection. Sometimes the robots don't play all that well (e.g., always leading an ace), but I'm more focused on learning to count trumps (and other suits), so that doesn't bother me. Great way to practice and improve your game.
