Love this classical dedicated radio station with a few exceptions that are well worth my listening. When my stepdad was suffering through his last months with alzheimer's, I could count on there being interesting and soothing music when I was not with him... The app allows me to find this station anywhere I have internet access even if the radio station signal doesn't make it to that space. There is so much more to share about how I love wfmt but I have limited time and attention as I am simpl

I love listening to WFMT, especially in the mornings and before bed. However, the app is so buggy and crashes very often. The stream cuts off randomly every 5-10 minutes, or so, and I need to restart the app. This is not how I want to be enjoying music. Please fix these bugs! Thanks.

I enjoy most of the programming very much. However, the stream uses a very low quality codec vs the terrestrial (FM) broadcast. My phone has a radio app so I can directly compare them, and did so one evening listening to a SF Symphony performance of a Mahler Symphony while commuting on a train that alternates between elevated and subway. FM doesn't work in the subway, so I had to switch to the app below ground. It's a night and day comparison. I would prefer the option to choose my data rate.

Sadly,I have issues with the app like other reviewers. It doesn't appear to be able to play unless I have the phone unlocked. After the phone locks, the app pauses a minute or two later. Not very useful if it'll only play for a minute or two

Don't know what everyone else is talking about but this app works on my phone (Samsung Galaxy 10+). No cutting out, no skipping, and background play works perfectly while I use other apps. Plus I can finally know the song name while listening to save for later! Thank you WFMT!

Annoying ad every time you use it, but overall it is a great app. They tend to play a good variety of classical music vs some other stations that are obsessed with certain Romantic Era composers

This app is excellent overall but lacks Google Chromecast. This prevents listeners like me from casting to their speakers. Please consider adding the Chromecast feature in a future update.

The app doesn't work. As other reviewers have said, it just turns off every 5-10 minutes. I've re-installed it a few times with no luck. I'm a fan of wfmt...but not this app.

I have a Samsung A51, and whenever this app is used a complete restart is required to close the app. Otherwise it continues to stream in the background.

Sometimes it just crashes in the middle of the live stream. Sometimes it is just fine. Somewhat uneven.

Works great on phone but i don't understand why they disallow it from installing on tablets.

No search function and doesn't support Chromecast?!

Can't tell you how wonderful it is to have my classical music station wherever I go!

<3 WFMT! I hope they enhance the player screen with meta information about the current programming. Maybe hint what's next?

Been listening to WFMT for many years. Great way to do so in VA and stay connected to home.

I've been trying to get it to play for longer than 5 minutes all morning. Rebooted my router, my wifi extender and both Androids. Still just shuts down randomly. Also missing a sleep timer so the time I like WFMT the most, bedtime, it is not possible to use. I've been listening to WFMT since the late 60s and love the station. Really dislike this app.

Great station, garbage app. I've used it on three different phones from two different manufacturers and it still stops, randomly. (Acts of pure optimism, I assure you.) Makes listening to music more of a trial than a pleasant past time. I'll have to go out and see if they still sell radios...

The app sometimes randomly closes for no reason. It also always closes when I get a phone call instead of just pausing.

Its good. Does what it needs to do. It would be nice for there to be an option to automatically start streaming when you open the app. The old app did this, so I could have it turn on at a certain time in the morning, it was nice.

Absolutely love this radio station and listening to classical music!
