I agree with everyone else. This latest version is horrible. It's not user friendly at all. National news items cause crashes when opened. No local news option like the previous version. In "Top News Stories " where do the news items end and the ads begin? I wasn't thrilled with the previous version but this goes beyond. I really need to look into channel 8 and 61's apps now.

The update is absolutely terrible. As soon as you open it, an ad plays and navigation out of it is tricky. The notifications are a default setting and they're ridiculously loud and frequent. The radar rarely works when checking the weather. Very disappointed in this app and considering alternatives.

This new updated version looks like a bunch of ads. There are way too many tiles and they are hard to read. Features like the weather technical discussion are removed. When navigating to the need stories, they continue in a single column of tiles that also contains ads so it's not clear to the user what is a real story and what is click bait. I'm sorry, but this app is being uninstalled.

Full of ads and the "x" to close them changes corners each time the app is open so you have a better chance of accidentally clicking the ad. Some ads are ok, but the trickery is terrible.

What bonehead at Channel 3 decided that trumpets blaring when you get a push notice was a smart decision? It's annoying and obnoxious. I can't turn it off so I disabled getting notifications. And those damn tiles. You can't find a damn thing. It's way too busy-looking and certainly not user-friendly. Put the app back the way it was and FIRE the app designer!!! I will not use this app anymore because it's ridiculously designed. I use Fox 61 Hartford's news app now. Farewell Channel 3 News 👋👋👋

I'm sad that I was instructed, and I followed removing the old app before downloading this one! This new app is terrible in comparison!! Nothing but adds and tabloid articles!!! It takes forever to get to the "real" news IF you have the time to sift through all the other junk! DO NOT download this until WFSB improves it. For now, I'm switching to NBC and CNN. Sorry guys- been watching you for 20 years!

This is one of the worst app i ever used. I live in Ct. but get the weather and news in NY. I don't need to know what the temp is in Rochester and now after the update I can't open it The help is useless i emailed them multiple times with no response. So much for channel 3 that i watched for over 50 years.

This new version is horrible!!!! Everything about it is way different from the last app and you can forget getting the weather for the day into the night. It's also confusing trying to read local news.

Starting the App with loud sound Ad?? That's crazy. This is a news App, we may use it at anytime of the day to check important info. Loud sound Ads are so inconsiderate. I get it you need Ad supports, but allow sound is so wrong.

New update is not good at all. Interface is slow and is all adds loading in. News articles don't appear sometimes and are replaced with advertisements that appear to be news.

Cannot get weather alerts on my phone. I want weather alerts such as tornado warnings etc for Plainfield. It says to download the weather app but takes me right back to the channel 3 news app. Cannot find an individual app for weather only from channel 3. The app has too many ads and is more difficult to navigate than the last version.

The old app worked just fine. Now as soon as you open the new updated version. You get flooded with ads. It's annoying! Vote now didn't work AGAIN today. Not happen with the app. Its sad because we generally enjoy WFSB on TV.

The app freezes and I have to uninstall, restart phone then reinstall--after several attempts, I am not having and luck downloading the app. The instructions that are given are not available.

Update is awful. The new layout is visually chaotic and news and clickbait have the same format making it difficult to quickly discern a difference.

I had to turn off the notifications because of the new notifications sound it is so irritating! It's an alarming sound that was scaring me and my dog. Too bad because I've always liked getting the notifications with the latest news. Please change it back. Thank you.

The new update is awful. The setup does not make any sense. Love the old set up bring it back. So confusing. The tiles don't make sense.

There is no way in Android to shut off the obnoxious alert notification sound! A friend who has an iPhone can, but I can't. And you can't provide feedback thru the app either. This change falls short for me.

The updated app is terrible compared to the previous one. Cluttered start screen makes it harder to find sections I want to read. Top news section is absolutely brimming with advertisements disguised as news. Awful update.

New app is junk. Will be searching for new news source. I liked the volume of stories pertaining to CT & World clearly listed on the old app with article titles completely displayed. Screen is full of clickbait & limited actual news. Bye bye WFSB app!

The new updated app forces you to watch ads everytime you open it. I understand you need to monetize some of your content through ads, but forcing users to watch an ad everytime a user opens the app makes an awful user experience. I am uninstalling this app.

This is the worst app. It doesn't load and by chance if it does it takes forever. I think I might go to another channel. Very disappointed.

This AP is absolutely awful! The notification Sounder can't be turned off, tabloid like appearance and too many ads. Should have kept old AP. The 1 star should really be 0 stars. This isn't a news AP. It's an AP to advertise. I'm a long time Wfsb viewer, and real first negative comment.

You guys ruined this app. Visually it's a mess. And now, every time I swipe away a notification, it comes back again and again and again. That's fine. You have competition in this media market. Goodbye.
