Really like listening to Boston Public Radio (and WGBH in general) when I catch it airing but unlike the WBUR app, seem to encounter nothing but problems with this app. To begin with, it shuts down when my screen goes to sleep or I turn the screen off myself. Also, again unlike On Point (WBUR), no luck accessing recent episodes thru Tune-In.
First, it begins with annoying ad instead of going straight to broadcast. Stops all the time, then begins with annoying ad again! WBUR doesn't have an ad at beginning, nor does it stop all the time. Please fix this ap. It's really frustrating.
This app shuts itself off automatically, and repeatedly even tho I've uninstalled and installed several times. other radio apps stay on, so I know it's not my phone, but the app itself. Please fix it.
Works fine for a few minutes then it stops. You spend a few minutes getting back to the podcast that you were listening to and then after another 5 or 10 minutes it stops again. Repeat forever.
Keeps freezing, stopping in the middle of broadcast, then overlaying ad. Sometimes doubles a few seconds. Happens on smart phone but not on smart speaker.
The app now simply stops playback after a second or two upon connecting a Bluetooth speaker, and has never responded to normal controls, so you can't restart playback.
Can't keep connected for more than a few minutes at a time. Wifi or not, doesn't matter. Other streaming apps I have don't have this problem.
The signal freezes or drop ever few minutes and it doesn't matter if I am listening over WIFI or AT&T mobile. Very poorly done app I think.
Nice to have this option since I don't have a radio tuner in my phone anymore. This is clearer than the signal in my car.
The web links have stopped working. Yet another apo that dies privide an easy trouble/update/feedback report option.
Frequently stops in middle of story for ad. Frustrating. Will ditch app and use radio.
Poorly designed. Barely updated. Podcasts are not uploaded in a timely or even consistent manner

I like pbs, and WGBH but... But the audio stream keeps stopping.

Functional but clunky app. Dunno why they renamed it grievous bodily harm.
i just love this app and get a lot of information and enjoyment from it but i do think you need a little bit of an update

Frustrating experience using this app. I'm a supporter and regular listener to GBH but the performance of this app is so poor that I'm gravitating to other stations. The app regularly stops without explanation. It doesn't matter what network I'm on or time of day - I start it, it plays for 5 or 10 minutes, then stops. I restart and it stops again in another 5 or 10 minutes. I use other apps on my Android, including other public radio stations, and don't see this pattern. Thumbs down.
