The father wondered if there was something he could do to help everyone better understand the cats and dogs around us so that we will love and cherish them.
He asked a few friends for help.
"We should help people learn what is the breed ancestry of their cat or dog," said one friend.
"Let's help everyone find out more about potential health problems that their cat or dog might develop," said another.
"We'll help everyone understand their pets and connect with other pet lovers," said a third.
The friends worked hard and found a few thousand other friends to help them test and develop an app. And what.pet was born.

It either takes too long to analyze my dog's breed, or it gives me errors about the photos chosen. I picked many different photos every time and it STILL gives me trouble. There are times when changing photos or hitting next, it jumps me back to the photos for no reason. It even makes me answer the same questions every time there is an error. And yes, my internet runs smoothly.
A great download! It was unbelievably easy to get started, and I loved the 'select from the gallery' feature, because he was not in the mood for pictures today! Not only did its estimation matched what I already knew about my pup's breed, but the health risks and symptoms were quite informative as I genuinely wondered about some of those. Now I know what to pay attention to and act on immediately. Thanks! Great job with the app!
GREAT APP!! I have a mixed breed dog and I now know what else is in her blood line. It makes perfect sense too with the characteristics of the breeds, I understand some of her behaviors more. The app also tells you what health concerns there may be. Theres a place for important paperwork and a place to post and see other pics of snimals. VERY COOL APP!!!!
i like the setup and that you can choose a photo from gallery unlike other apps. however it couldnt identify my cat. it did know it was a kitten and i understand they are harder to distinguish. my cat is a orange siberian cat. hope it helps your algorithm!
Wonderful app, works perfectly, sign up process was great, uploading my dogs pictures was easy, in short the entire process was seamless and it worked just as stated. 10/10 i strongly recommend.
It was a very nice experince and I enjoyied a lot. Even if I am in somewhere and like pet and want to know more about it, What I need is just take a picture of a pet using this app and I can get to know more about pet. This app is user friendly and ask multiple questios about your pet and provide acurate information about your pet.It also provides tips and risk factors about your pet.
It never works!! It hasn't worked once and I've tried probably a hundred different photos now. And I know for a fact that it's not a connection problem so don't pull that card. It shouldn't be this hard to see what breed my dog looks like.
I have 3 black cats and just thought they were only domestic short hair. This so threw pictures told what else they may be. there is also a whole community yout can unlock of other cats and dogs. i thought this was a cute app!!!!
Totally happy with the results of this app to trace the ancestry of my dog, max. It made sense on why he always sniff the ground when he's out for a walk. The result of the apps was spot on.
Amazing app actually, it was quite accurate on my cat (at least what we think he is). Gave us a medical condition. one of the best part was we just used the app to store our rabies vaccine for this year.
I love this app! I just recently started using it but it's awesome to be able to see everyone's adorable animals! and I'm glad everyone can see my adorable pup too :)

Slick app, tons of potential. Got dog from the Humane Society and never really knew what it was. I think the app got it correct! The disease info is also really helpful.

I have a Mastiff which is not a common breed but it identified her perfectly! I like the fact that I can keep vet records handy. Great app!
I put my pet and the personality described her, mouthy when excited and her hunting skills kick in when she smells a scent! I was very surprised by the results.

App was able to properly identify my Pomeranian 100%! It also said there's a risk for cataracts? Not sure what to think about that, but something to bring up at the next visit at least.

It was very nice experince. This app is user frindly, asks muliple questions about your pet.If you dont know breed of a pet this app gives you exact breed of a pet. If I am somewhere and like some pet and want to know about it more, then I can take picture of a pet using this app and post it a d get the breed of the pet.
Useless. It would be good if it actually worked. Every single time I tried to analyse it- it said "Cannot analyse picture" or "This took too long, check internet connection." when my WiFi is at 5 bars! Tried multiple different images of different dogs, none of them worked. Low quality and high quality.
