What's for Dinner? Recipes

I am glad i read reviews from others. My app doesn't give me food network options anymore. I had this app for a very long time and never had this problem. I have emailed the developer for assistance just like several other customers. I still have not received a response just as I read from others. Apparently this developer doesn't offer assistance rather you pay our use the free version. As much as I loved this app if I don't receive any help I will never recommend this developer.

I've been saving recipes but the ingredients don't transfer to the app. The name always saves under Epicurious and I can only view ratings and ingredients online. Basically it's a fancy search engine for recipes at this point. I know it's not supposed to be like this but until it works properly on my phone (or I figure out if it's user error) I cannot rate it higher than a two.

Within the first minute of downloading and opening the app I noticed when you search for recipes, the rating on the listings aren't very well done, for example one of the best rated chicken recipes on epicurious with thousands of reviews and a perfect rating overall is given a 4/5 by the app, simply because epicurious uses a "four fork" rating system instead of a five. While not detrimental, it does misrepresent great recipes and I hope it can be fixed quickly.

The app works great in doing what an app like this should do. It shows you a list of recipes from which you can choose and will throw them in a shopping list. It could improve in its navigation and simplicity. Like no long press menu on recipes. Also, there so many more websites out there with really great recipes that this app seems to be missing. If it can pull recipes from other sites like food network, that would be incredible. I look forward to this app improving :)

This app allows you to browse through recipe collections from Food Network, Better Home and Gardens, allrecipes just to name a few. Select a recipe, it adds if to your list, it will create a shopping list and you can plan menus for the upcoming days. The only problem I have is I can't get it to sync it from my tablet to my smartphone. I love this app.

I have been using this app for years. It holds recipes from multiple websites as my go to central repository for favorite recipes. This app is complete with menu planner and shopping list. Definitely worth the 4 bucks. Only thing is the app now only searches epicurous and it doesn't import recipes into the app anymore. Last post on Facebook is 2012.

This app gives you a great variety of recipes to choose from. Simply enter the ingredient(s) you want to use and it goes to work. It is nice to save recipes along the way, too, so you can try something that catches your eye at a later time. Only drawback is that it comes up with so many recipes that it is cumbersome to get through them all.

The only thing I recommend is making the shopping list cumulative. For example, right now if I have two recipes that each take flour the shopping list has them listed seperately instead of one entry with the combined amount. I hope this makes sense... :)

Recipes are from well known sites. I like reading reviews and seeing how people modify the recipes. However, I searched diabetic recipes and only about 10 dinners came up. But I'm new to the app so I will keep trying. It's easy to use...I appreciate the ability to save recipes and make a shopping list. Works fine on my Droid.

This ap makes it quick and easy to find a wide variety of recipes, make a shopping list, and have fun meal planning. The only thing that would be better is if we could find a recipe online or use one from a Word document and upload it into this program.

Update. I have the premium. Was loving it, but now the recipe search only brings up Epicurious and My Recipes, and then you must go to the website for My Recipes. If you save the recipe, you cannot get back to that webpage. It gives only reviews of the recipe. So I am again looking for something easier with more recipe choices and instant viewing. Back Then: Still trying it out...playing! But already have menu items and groc. List. Exactly what I was looking for.

Outstanding App. I've found numerous recipes that turned out fantastic. I always turn to this app for a new twist to a dinner menu. If you don't know what to cook for dinner, or just need a good recipe, look no further. You'll find some of the best mouth watering recipes you could imagine here.

This is not as good as everyone else is saying. All of the recipes I found were from epicurious and you have to go to that website to get the recipe. You are not able to add ingredients to a shipping list, so you have to go to the website in order to find out what ingredients are needed. It would also be nice if you could share with someone else.

Very easy to use everything you'll ever need to prepare any type of meal for any occasion. You never have to worry about forgetting anything on your list of ingredients, ,, what a disaster if you did,, but like I said no problems with that...take your menue your list and other recipes with you so if the market isnt carrying what you need you have the access to hundreds of other recipe options..just so easy to use! I definitely will give this App 5 stars..

OMG! I can pull up tons of different recipes from tons of different sites (allrecipes etc) for ANYTHING, compare them, read reviews, and it even makes you a grocery list, which is readily accessible on your phone of course, which you rarely forget to take with you. Best thing ever. I used do multiple searches on multiple sites for a single recipe... Super stoked.

I love this app. I've used it at least once a day since I found it. The only reason I gave it four instead of five stars is the search engine could be a little more accurate, which is no big deal.

The first thing I cooked using this came out great. My only request would be better discovery options.

I always forget my shopping list and this is perfect. When I just look at the recipe on my phone and easy to make a menu for the next two weeks. But Im wondering what happened to myrecipes I cant access any of their recipes now. What gives? Otherwise awesome app. Update : all is well myrecipes is back

The more specific the search, the better. I save all my favorite recipes. Never have a problem lagging or loading.

Easy to use with such mouthwatering meals. Loving the planner and shopper guide too. Makes life easier to have it all in one app.

I used this app a lot in the past, but still getting used to the new updates.

I used to love this app and used it all the time. Now however the app will not open. When I reinstalled it, it will not let me bring in the recipes I had stored. Very frustrating!

I loved all recipes dinner spinner, but it is not comparable with the nexus. This is great though. It pulls recipes from various recipe sites and gives you a great selection.

It is really easy to use and fast. I don't like that they say you should tag that recipe and to do that you have to get the premium.

I love how you can type in one word & it will give you tons of recipes. I have just started using this app but I would highly recommend it.

Easy to use, amazing for management. I hope things will be easy when I port recipes to my new phone.

I use this when I don't know what to do w/ a new seafood or expensive cut of meat. Also great baking ideas & recipes for desserts too.
