Displays the wrong costs on the menu and only shows you the correct value after ordering. When reaching out to either refund or dispute, they said it was fees and taxes. I don't think fees and taxes jumps $4 to $13, buddy. When trying to reach out again they completely ignored me. Horrible app.
I love the Whataburger Patty Melt! That's why I go to Whataburger once a week. To get my fix on! The app is a work in progress for them I'm sure. On my side all I've got to do is order some food, a drink, and pick my time that'll I be walking in through the doors. Unfortunately that's not always the way things roll out, and sometimes one mistake can grow into two, and three. Once the tailspin starts you just hope the order has hot food in the bag and the customer didn't overpay for missing food
I became very frustrated after my 4th order on the app was canceled dur ti a technical issue on my way to pick up the order. I was assured via email I was not charged and given the option to order again. After several failed attempts I went into the store, I reordered my food and paid again. The charges from both the app and the store cleared my bank. Multiple attempts to get the additional charge removed via the app only resulted in them gaslighting me and refused to issue a credit or refund.
The app is often unresponsive and not intuitive. Really not that bad. But it's never seems to be a good idea ordering online because you end up waiting behind everyone else and are just doing extra work for a messed up order and extra stale food. Oh look it's an 🥑.
The app only allows for curbside, not drive through pickup. The store is not at all interested in delivering curbside and I consistently sit for 20 minutes or more past the "promised" delivery time. The app, and the store itself is just a complete waste of time and money.
Doesnt have no ice option, you unclick the ice but doesn't prompt as no ice on receipt. So employees always mess the drink up do to the lack of this feature. Also should have a Special Instructions section. Because sometimes app wont allow u to remove certain things etc. Or when I want something on the side or no this when using a coupon bus certain things arent removable.
Got my order wrong. No option on the app to get a refund or dispute wrong orders and I had to call customer support. While I appreciate the decent customer support and ultimately got my issue resolved, there's no reason I should have to call and it's not guaranteed that everyones experience will end as well as mine. I should give this a 2 star but my customer support experience brings this to a 3 star. Ultimately, don't use this app and just use another one.
8/10 times i can't even use the app to order bc the selection is so limited. All of my local places have full menus but the app still only has about 25 items and only 2 breakfast items. No biscuits of any kind and no breakfast burger. I can still order them from the local place though. I have 2 rewards I haven't used bc nothing on the app is worth using them for.
If you choose the drive thru pick up option, do not leave until you verify your order. Customer support is non existent and the store will not do anything if you leave the window. The app has more flaws than features, maybe someday their developers will create a useful app but this ain't it.
The app is good for curbside pickup but delivery is outrageous. I was charged $10 on a $27 order for two meals (upsized fries) when I live less than 10 minutes away. And the fries are usually cold by the time I get them. Ugh. That they cancelled after 45 minutes of waiting.
I go to Whataburger A LOT. This app is very clunky. Unresponsive, weird interface and I am very sure it didn't put me as a candidate for the xbox giveaway. Point being, the app is a good idea but it really needs maintenance.
I would give it 5 stars but I have had numerous problems adding visits. I've accidentally charged my orders in cash & try to add the visit (with in the 3 days) & they never accept it. Very annoying due to me having the receipt order # & it is with in the same day or the next.
It's been said 100 times already, but the app is inconsistent at best. Far too often, I have to close the app and start over because it won't load the next page. The UI either crashes, freezes, or gets stuck "loading" on a semi-regular basis. And the newest quirk shows all GPay transactions as "declined" even though they've worked for years. Just do better!
What a rip off. Ordering challenge promised limited time reward. Reward point can be used to redeem regular reward. Challenge tab states offer will be available soon. When? After the promotion? Why credit a point i cant use toward the incentive that enticed me to order in the first place? Not only is the food unhealthy, customer service is the worst. "heres your food, now leave"
Double charged due to system errors and falsely charged for someone else order. I reached out to the so called "customer service team" multiple times and after I explained the situation and provided the evidence, I was ignored and my account was not credited back the stolen funds. I made several attempts to request a follow up that was completely ignored as well. While the app works ok, if you choose to use it, please don't store your money there. Its only a matter of time before it happens to you.
This app rarely works well without a system error message popping up. I've had it for a few years and its never gone smoothly. Honestly, I don't know why I have it anymore. Everytime I have used it, I anticipate it to do what it always does and force me to have to order off the website anyway. What's the point?
Best ever so simple and easy to deal with people who are working in there are the nice most helpful people in Nashville, Tn. I would work with them anywhere I wish they wou find more so when I eat anywhere else I would like being there as well!! They are best and most definitely nicer then the one's that are in the rest of these unhappy winning kids I see at all the other fast food place in this town. Thank you for coming over to Nashville I do love this city and the people don't hate just watch
Just watched three in person orders get served well before my online, asap order that was put in far before they did. What's the point of ordering ahead again? Edit: ordered and paid extra for large fries on the app too. Nope, got a medium in my bag. I also always designate dine-in on my orders and it always gets bagged as a take out order.
Rewards system is implemented very poorly compared to others. Entering receipt info to earn doesn't work at all half the time and is needlessly complicated (why can't we just scan a barcode?). Even if it works you might get told in a day or two that it actually failed for unknown reasons so you won't get any points. In order to do it at the drive-thru they expect you to give your phone to the worker to scan a tiny qr code at the bottom (when 60% of the screen is white space?). Bewildering.
