Whatnot - Buy & Sell Funko Pops

I like the app. But there definitely needs to be a buffer between when you hit the bid button and money coming out of your account. Because it does it almost instantly and all the buttons are jumbled at the bottom seemingly on purpose. I've tried to go into a sellers store and accidentally pressed bid and won an item I didn't even want to bid on. And within about 6 seconds my account was overdrafted because I hadn't transferred money in because I wasn't planning on buying anything.

Update: Turns out the issue was my data speed and not the app! Thank you WhatNot for helping me figure it out!!! Udated on 5-26-22 Ive had the app about 2 months and I have already had to uninstall twice because of no video. Hard to bid on an item you cant see. This is the 2nd time its happened, 1st time it lasted 2 days. U guys need to come up with an update to fix this problem please!! I live the app otherwise....its got potential for sure!!

The app is good but I dislike how the update made everything so glitchy and tiny on my screen. All the side features like store, bid, the number counter, etc. they're too tiny. I liked the app better before this recent update. Sometimes after someone has won an auction the app starts acting funky and I have to close the app and jump back in for it to work right again. The update messed everything up. It use to run more smoothly but now it doesn't.

Lots of diverse sellers and giveaways. My only real gripe is that we can't set a max bid for ourselves. When you click to add a bid, even when typing in a custom one, it automatically jumps up to the newest bid. So if you typed in 30 to an item on 25, but then a bunch of people bid it up to 40 as you were clicking, it will adjust your custom bid to 41, despite you having typed 30. It's too easy for someone to troll a bid and make it jump really high and have others unintentionally over bid.

This app is addicting and awesome, such a great time and fun community! My last review was lower because of bugs and they do still have a few. The biggest one on my pixel 6 pro is if I close the app without backing out of the video first or else the audio will continually play and I have to reopen the app, click any stream, then back out of the video before I close it.

The platform overall is great, but the app is glitchy. I have fun participating in the streams and always find cool stuff. My big issue, however, is the constant bombardment of push notifications that have nothing to do with my interests. I unfollowed all categories except one, yet still get alerts for streams I have never watched. I don't see any settings in the app to fix this. I don't want to disable the push notifications entirely because I do want to get the reminders I sign up for.

The app has been loading very slow for me for past few weeks. I can't look up anyone. Half the time, i cant back out of some lives. I have to shut down the entire app half of the time. It has been very frustrating. Please fix! Thanks! - update: i have to uninstall and reinstall once a week bc the app slows down and takes forever to open some lives.

Very cool app that lets you immerse yourself in the collectibles space, however I've had several issues with the app not giving me video when switching from feed to feed as well as randomly not opening and I've had to reinstall three times total now. Also bugs in the chat feature, when you are typing and a bid is made it takes you away from your keyboard. Work out those bugs Whatnot guys, great stuff still!!

Very disappointed. I signed up on a referral, and was supposed to get a 10 dollar starter credit. This did not happen. I sent a customer service request, but have received no response for several days. I also won 2 small auctions, but nothing had shipped to date. The whole setup comes off very sketchy. Like a back alley deal at 2am. Edit: Got an email stating my auctions shipped about 30 minutes after my review. With that in mind I added a star. Just pray you don't need customer service.

Created my account through my Facebook account on my desktop. Enjoyable site, plenty of cool sellers to buy things from. Installed the app so I can keep tabs on it on the go and can't log in. Haven't been able to log in at all. Tried being on wifi, on data, turn the phone off/on, uninstall/reinstall the app. Still can't log in. Well, guess I'll stick to PC. Maybe someday I'll be able to log in on my account on through the app someday, but I won't hold my breath.

Whatnot pays successful YouTubers to run auctions on their platform where fans who get caught up in the hype pay way, way too much for video games. We're talking 100% or more over market value. It is also way too easy to accidentally bid on items because of the placement of the bid button. I spent ten minutes on an auction and saw multiple people bid by accident, one of them accidentally bid $50 on a copy of Tony Hawk 4 (?!!??!) and then had to pay it. This whole situation is bad and scummy.

Terrible and unusable. I discovered this app via Facebook when someone had posted a link about it. The Facebook version was glitchy and clunky, so I downloaded the actual app. I now can't get into the app I just downloaded because I'm "linked to another account" even though it's the same email, phone number, etc. I also now can't use the Facebook version now because I downloaded the actual app. The "support" I was directed to is just a bot that doesn't know basic key words. Ridiculous mess.

One of the worst auction apps out there. The idea is great yet falls short of offering equal protection for both buyer and seller. Apart from offering minimal buyer protection, they also don't have confirmation bid windows so accidental bids happen frequently. Worst part is that the price can jump tenfold in the blink of an eye depending on the item/auction. With this lack of buyer support comes an equally distasteful refund/bid retraction policy therefore screwing the buyer over regardless.

The app is working good with only a few glitches. I get a pop-up that tells me the live stream works better in the whatnot app, while I am in the app. It is difficult to get it to go away. Also, the volume sometimes doesn't work and I have to leave the live stream and re-enter a time or two.

Please fix the freezing issues! I have to close the app over and over again to get it to work properly. I can't tell you how many times I have lost out on auctions because of this app freezing. Also, I have uninstalled and reinstalled this app so many times resulting in the same freezing over and over. Please fix and please don't place a blanket response of "we will let the proper team know about your issues," just get this fixed by now.

Now 1 star. Not being able to bid makes this app unusable. Dripshop is better. Update: 3 stars down to 2. This app just gets worse with each update. Sometimes the app just won't fully launch so I uninstall/reinstall to get it working. Now the issue I've had in the last week is that my bids go through maybe one every 5 attempts. In sudden death auctions, it means you almost never win. If you have an issue with your order, some customer service reps tend not to elaborate on issues.

Works when it wants to... Evey week i have to uninstal and reinstall. This needs to be fixed asap as ive noticed quite a few others with the same ongoing issue. After i open the app it just sits there and loads and never shows any streams. Also cant view any orders when this happens. All in all it could be a great app but the constant issues make me not even want to use it. Please fix these problems!!

Well that was quick! Tried to sign up, but wouldn't let me. I typed in all the information it requested, but when I tried push the final setup button, nothing, and no indication of why. Stupendous! EDIT: I just tried again to sign up. Jumped through the hoops and AGAIN would not allow me to click sign up after entering all the information! No indication of what the problem is. This app should be call WTFnot... Whatnot! Uninstalled for a second time...there will not be a third.

Probably one of the biggest complaints I have is sellers putting things up to be auctioned and then never running them. With most of the time their excuse for not running them is there aren't enough people watching the stream. It gets annoying waiting for an item sometimes for hours and never getting a chance at it. If it's put up as an item to be auctioned it should be ran at least once.

I've bought a few pairs of shoes and clothes and really enjoyed the app when I first started using it. Now I can't even watch a stream or make a bid without it crashing. I've re-download the app multiple times and it continues to crash. I can't find any solution anywhere.

Some people are hearing very nice. Another ones are gamblers and they want you to bid higher up on certain items but they don't give a care about getting returns and the customer service is failing by a lot because I asked 2 question only got one answer. Even try to cancel your order but due to what not they do not reply to this so it's all up to the seller but they will not deal with the seller.

Pro: Great app for live auctions and to buy a variety of items. Started as Funko marketplace and did very well. Great selection and chance for good deals. Con: After the auctions they all but forgot about the marketplace. Tough to get sales without holding an auction. People will gladly overpay at a You Tuber's auction for an item but will try to undercut by 25% a direct sale of the same at PPG or less. Would benefit from splitting auctions and marketplace to different apps.

Great app for collectors looking to find deals. However the biggest issue is where the place bid button is located coupled with the fact that most sellers don't offer cancelations. Also bid carefully as the current bid is sometimes 5 dollars lower than the amount it's telling you to currently bid, always use custom bid to avoid spending extra money.

Fun and Exciting Auctions! Good honest place for any and all collectibles that your looking for. Whatnot is good at responding to any issues that you do have if and when something you win doesn't get sent. They are fast at getting your money back (but rarely happens not getting the product from sellers).

Can't connect to the app, even with excellent wifi connection and full 5g. Had my first show, spent lots of time and money on it to not work and having to cancel the stream. No walk through on how to create and start a listing.

Bought numerous items and recently became an approved seller. Everything is going great now. UNFORTUNATELY I lost about $50 on my first run because for some reason it offered free shipping when i made custom shipping entries. Now I know that it is not a good setting and just stick with what they preset. Look forward to many sales and a long relationship with Whatnot!

The app was great but for a week now it crashes when I try and open it. Notifications come through but the app crashes when I click on them. Contacted customer support, we'll see what that does. Would expect to see more effort when an app people spend money in is crashing for a lot of people

Video stream in the app glitches everytime for me in the first 10 seconds and freezes I can't even use this app it's so annoying! I've uninstalled and reinstalled, updated the app doesn't fix the freezing

This is a great app for buying and for selling and a great community. A lot of the negative reviews are people who don't really understand basic technology or how to work their phone or Internet. It's simple, when you use the app just use your best judgment when bidding, scope out the seller a bit before just pressing bid, etc... Overall great platform. Could it use some improvements for both buyers and sellers? Of course, but what app couldn't? Let's keep it 💯

Pro: Great place to purchase things your looking to collect Con: can you make it to where you can hide the bidding button so you don't hit it accidentally? I had multiple Accord's where I couldve hitting it when typing in message ..
