Very convenient, in my opinion. Almost all the information you could want is collected in the app, and so you don't really need to Google as much and if you do want to get further information there are always links to the websites of universities. You don't have to search for open days for example, they are all listed from the current date and you can see if any of them are relevant for you. I also like the "bot chat" feature and the all the filters you can apply to your search, it's amazing
Fantastic way to get so much information in one place. Save opening endless tabs in Chrome for each uni. Would be so much better if there were more fine methods of saving, categorising, and favouring courses. Once a course is saved to the❤️its very difficult to navigate back to them. I use it as a research resource; a first steppingstone.
Whatuni is very helpful with finding courses and universities from all over the UK. These app has helped me to have the information that I need to be able to go to the right university for the course that I want to do. Overall the app is quick and fast on finding results for u but also give the assistant to make the right choice for the course and then to help get into your dream job.
Need to register with your email to use the app. After you do that, though, and log in, you cannot do anything as the screen keeps flashing and unresponsive. So basically the app is unusable. Saw similar reviews from over a month ago, so nothing is really being done to fix it.
It's a great app if you are thinking of going to university, even if you're not sure which course. It provides a summary of each course so you know what its about. 4/5 because some information isn't available compared to other courses, e.g. course modules
when i downloaded the app it had a option to continue with Facebook which didnt work so i manually tried to make an account but the loading screen after you finish making your password takes too long. I sat waiting for it to load for 10 mins. Concept of the app is good and appeals to many students looking for the right uni but this app needs to be refined.
needs more improvements in this App as search has to be made more friendly and many time it's a problem to get in last page as we have to start right from the start which is a major problem in this app. Data is not enough and needs to be updated on a regular basis
I've used this app before I decided to delay uni for a year. they seem to have fixed the glitches, and now it's pretty easy to sort through and see the unis and courses. Much better!
Location filters barely work. Lots of minor faults which make the app frustrating to use. Also doesn't have an up to date list of qualifications that unis accept. Otherwise useful
App bugs out, flashes, unable to tap anything. The layout is pretty bad. For some reason you need to make an account just to browse and see recommendations.
Useful but clunky. All the info on entry requirements, modules etc is there, but not a clear link to uni websites for more info. Also there doesn't seem to be a way to easily search for joint honours courses.
Seems ok, but I'm coming to the end of my BSc and looking to study an MSc but this app doesn't seem return MSc courses. I.e. i searched for computer science courses and want to apply an MSc filter - there isn't one. I also couldn't find any MSc courses for the uni i'm looking at studying at.
It won't work properly on my Samsung device. I installed the update and I tried to sign up but it rarely recognises when I click on a field so I couldn't finish
good app, would be good if open days were on it for more unis as well as ordering for prosepctus. Also would be nice to be able to save more unis to a list somewhere and make a list of upcoming open days
The app is so easy to use, and the chat bot functionality adds personal touch
it is a good experience and give you more options to just than a course.

Basically when you first open the app and log in and whatever it'll ask to have access to your location. I don't really know why you'd need location services so I said no. the app then continuously flashes and doesn't let you do anything. so I reinstalled the app and allowed location services and it's fine. but liKE u should fix that bc location shouldn't be necessary. hopefully this will help others who have the same problem and wouldn't mind allowing their location.
