It takes minutes to finaly drive my wheel. There are many buttons to click when I just want to be on my way. Why can it not automatically be connect without any questions asked after I start the app??? It seems like the app is getting worse than better. Very often I have to restart the app Bluetooth or the wheel or all of the above. I develop software but this app should get the basics right first. Get a usuability engineer and so some serious intigration testing. Yes I like the wheel.
UPDATE YOUR APP!! Couldn't set up the wheel with the Android app using 2 different pixel devices!! I had to borrow a friend's IOS device to get it to work. I haven't used it for my commute yet, so I can't speak to every day use, but as far as new user experience goes, the app is so incredibly disappointing. It's a shame, because the wheel itself is an engineering marvel.
The app doesn't reliably connect or auto-reconnect with the wheel. Often doesn't find a wheel and I have to tap 'search again' or restart the app then search again. Big time waster when you're stopping often and switch off the wheel for short periods!
I am loving this incredible wheel. Unfortuneltly I am a bit in deisbelief, though perhaps I am uninformed of other possibilities, about the neccesity of my phone to operate it....Can I please simply get a on/off switch? What gives? If I loae my phone, or it dies, it seems the wheel is now a super bummer. Also, extremely annoyingly the wheel disconnects from my phone after simply taking a break for a few minutes. There just must be an easy software bypaas solution....
works pretty well but updates can take a long time to download and must be done standing near your bike with the wheel turned on, so long periods standing in the garage to have wi-fi and trying to get updates.
Nothing works, cannot connect with the wheel. Have the current APP installed. Have bluetooth on. Have wheel charged and turned on. The APP just times out eventually.
Something changed recently that has made it difficult to connect to the wheel. Since this app so rarely gets updates I guess it must be something in the Android OS.
So far so good. At first it couldn't find the wheel but after granting permissions it's been working fine.
your updated s/w will not run my wheel. it appears to pair with the wheel but after selecting the wheel number it goes into an endless loop of "would you like to connect with this wheel?" followed by "new guest...first name...email address. then back to "would you like to connect..."
Great product. The software is awesome too if you know how to use it. Read the instructions y'all.
Spent $1800 on a wheel I can't use bc I can't even open the app on my phone. It crashes before I can even log in.
It's difficult to connect with the wheel easily and the internet connection doesn't seem to matter.
The app does not open smoothly every time. When it works, we love it.
Trips often don't load. Often has trouble connecting to wheel.

App works great, connects quickly,running Android pie. I have a few feature suggestions like a reminder to power off when when out of range (plus the ability to turn off those reminders) and wearOS integration, I'd like to ba able to change modes and check stats on my watch. Otherwise app woks as intended.
Had the Wheel/app for 4 days. Almost never connects to Bluetooth without a phone restart. Today, 8 miles from home, even theat didn't work. I absolutely love my Wheel when it works, but if the connectivity iddurs aren't resolved I'll be looking for a refund. Bums me out.
The wheel is amazing, and I think one of the best e-bikes on the market...when the app is working. The app itself is incredibly terrible. I have to constantly restart the app and pray to the tech gods for a connection. The worst part is that the app used to work fine. With the last three updates, it has regressively gotten worse and worse.
Great as long as it's working. The more urgently you need to connect, the slower it connects. Highly variable connectivity if you stop to get a cup of coffee or something... impossible to tell if you have to connect again until you try to connect, can't assume anything. Support is zero for a $1500 wheel. There is no direct support contact on the app, website, paperwork that comes with it, anything. If you have ever had a groundbreaking device that was bricked when the app stopped being supported, this will be the most expensive version of that, ever, when it finally happens. The wheel will not function without the app.
Drops Bluetooth connection and then refuses to re-connect. NOT PLEASED.

The app: Unreliable is the name of the game here. The app constantly disconnects from the wheel, or doesn't connect at all. I'm frequently opening and closing the app or restarting my phone to get the wheel to connect. The wheel: again, unreliable is the key word here. When it works it's great, but it's rare that the wheel works when it's supposed to. The weight of the wheel causes me to get flats constantly, and the battery life is abysmal. 25 miles is the farthest you'll get on one charge. For a wheel that costs over $1,000 this is unacceptable. If you're in the market for an electric bike, stay far away from Super Pedestrian.
