WheelCheck Test Setup____________________________________
1. Aim phone over tire using Red Target square as guidance. Wipe ( cross section ) of tire with cloth to remove any unwanted debris or tire shine if tire is wet.
2. Select which tire you wish to Test.
3. Hold camera steady and select the blue icon, remember there is a sweet spot between tire and phone , this differs for every so test a few times to get calibration.
4. Timer is used when phone is harder to aim at the tire. Just select green icon and you have 10 seconds to adjust your phone over the tire.
5. Mileage can be entered at time of testing if so required.
6. Select Distributers or change your distance from the sliding scale 7. For best results , tires should be checked under dry conditions.

* For wet conditions , please ensure that the wet shine is wiped from the cross section of the tire.

I like the concept of the app but have a few questions. I will reach out in an email.
Doesnt even load the camera. Waste of time
Funny faild on brand new tyres passed on waste tyres waste of time
Four 3 month old Bridgestones all failed.. This has to be a prank app.. near new tyres failed yet my uncles old spare passed .. yet it is no longer in use needless to say un road worthy.. Please note to future ppl that this is nothing more then a prank, also a chick ..female may go by these false results and end up buying new tyres.. so PLEASE WARN PPL that the app is 90% un unreliable PLEASE.
As previously mentioned. Stops when deleting inaccurate readings. Flash would not work in lower light, showed fail with full even tread. Lots more improvement needed.
It's one of the best apps for when a flat tyre has gone out then this is the right app for it.
Dont waste your time I used my purse and it gave me a pass what a joke
You should have mentioned that it's a prank!!!. My bed passed and my Tyre failed
Or just use the tyres inbuilt wear indicator. It's easier & quicker than using this.

What utter rubbish. Apparently my toilet floor is a trye that passes!!! Reply to your reply: IF your crap app worked it would say 'not a tyre'. And for the record, my actual tyres have just over 5mm tread and your crap app says they fail!!! Utter rubbish and dangerous!!!
Told me tires past the wear bar passed. Dangerous.
Tried over 10 times and it would not recognize my tire.
It's very easy & simple
Scan meter freezes at 2-5% and won't go any further. You can move the % bar with your finger which doesn't do anything. Restarted phone and enable all app permissions but it still doesn't work. Android 6.0.1 on Nexus 6P
Open app selected tire hit test it went to 5% and did nothing after that, you could slide the green bar around to different %dges but nothing.... waste of time

We have done manually test tyres and we used this app too. Turn up this app was more accurate after we gone to garage. 😆
It always gives me message 'please allow additional permission in app settings'...I am not able to test my car tyres.

It didn't work on my Galaxy S7. Update: It finally started working on my phone, so I gave it one more star. As far as I could tell the app only shows pass or fail. Stick gauges have Green/Yellow/Red and show 32nds. Results were inconsistent on the same tire. This would be very difficult to use on vehicles with minimal space around the tires, rear tires in particular.
