I speed rushed through and the application process and it was smooth all the way through. You can play music through it but I found it too difficult-rushing- to connect given that it didn't do it automatically through Bluetooth and it asked me to find my Wheels and I didn't know the name. Just fast enough and safe, even for a ten year old that may or may not have tried it successfully. Had a great time for 15 bucks for 1. Made our day. =)
Junk. The bikes don't all work very well their brakes are sketchy and the kickstands keep falling down. Then when you want to park you have to ride a long ways away to be able to stop your session. It's ridiculous. Then they charge you a lot and even just to get to a restaurant $20 minimum. Really not worth it.
Third time using one of the bikes. Bike didn't work. I was charged anyway even though bike did not move. Not easy to figure out how to get a refund and in a rush. Got home and was directed to a web form to fill out. You need the bloody QR code from the bike in order to submit. Lousy experience. Not worth going all the way back to the bike. Deleting app and won't use again.
It is the only option in DT Seattle that does not allow for multiple riders. We have 4 teenagers so it is a horrible app. All other rides like this allow group rides. It's unfortunate because these are the best "bikes" available. If you are on a date or with kids it's a waste. Also the app makes it hard to end the ride.
Simple to use and fun, it's a little expensive but it is cheaper than Uber at peak times. I wish the display on the bike was brighter and on all the time so you can see how much battery is left without having to scan and start a ride.
It's fun for the first 15 minutes of riding until you try and end it. Every 5 feet of Orlando is no ride or park area and continues to charge you while you walk around rolling a scooter for an extra 15 minutes to a random area. Use uber or any other service. Absolute rip off.
NOT WORTH YOUR TIME. Trash app. You don't even get on the bike before they charge you for 30secs. A dollar a minute is extremely expensive. I couldn't end the ride after the bike wouldn't work. Customer service through the app is useless.
Poor built. You basically have no access to help section or on-the-road help after you have activated the ride. I ran into a technical problem with one of the bikes, and it failed on me. I tied to make my way throught the app to seek help, a task which then was proved impossible to me. Their costumer care team seems to be a thurd party company which has delays of more than 4 days. Overall, a neve use app.
Don't use!!! When you start you can't finish the ride. The app keeps telling you the GPS is not turn on. The final bill is $15 for 2 miles riding. Customer service can't be found. Never use it!!!
Couldn't connect to a wheels vehicle. The app kept saying that my Bluetooth was off when it was on and had permissions granted. Then the next day I saw it charged me about $25 for the vehicle that never connected.
As a transporter, it'd be nice if we had the option to put a broken bike out of service as needed. For example, last night I came across a bike where the brake line was visibly cut. I scanned the bike on the app, but it was showing no bounty, which to me sounds like someone could get on a bike with no brakes 🥺
This app and company are horrible most of their bikes doesnt even work properly and they take forever to contact you, bluetooth takes to long to start up just overall horrible experience and wouldnt even recommend it to my worst enemy.
So far I'm loving it. But it takes some getting used to. I'm still adjusting to how this bike works, handles etc. Ive improvised, makin my own bike pouches/bags, phone holder, carry everything while delivering with this bike. But "pedaling" was hard on This ebike helps me to accept deliveries that are further away & I'm able to work more hours and more days. I've tried other rentals. This is the best!! My absolute Favorite!
I want a full refund NOW PLEASE! I barely went any damn where before your (thinks for itself) little bike kept deciding that it was apparently time 2end my ride for me?! ..4whatever insane reasoning algorithm it has programmed into it to nickel & dime people min by min just a little sooner here and a little shorter of a ride there, that, in the long run, sure adds up to hundreds of thousands of basically stolen money in the form of lost ride time for your unfortunate customers. Blaahhh!! Gross!
Always disconnects and won't allow to end ride, just stopping for a second and getting a drink and bike locks itself and app won't let end or add Nike back until over an hour of usage goes by. Please fix your app the bikes are great
Edited review because experience matters and seems to worsen the more I encounter as a monthly subscriber. (Daily renters have it good.) 2 stars because you have a decent machine of an ebike. But the rest of your company is like a 13 year-old that still wets its pants! An infant company still growing its business, seems like. Keep growing, Wheels!! Best of luck!
DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! App doesn't work probably. I have been overcharged when the bike didn't work and I wasn't allowed to park it. Worse service ever
Charged me for a ride that wouldn't even work. Disconnecting and connecting was a pain. You need the QR code to even submit a complaint but we had already walked away unaware that would be a thing.
Ride never started, had to jump on a scooter instead. Imagine my surprise when I was charged 15 dollars! Other services do this better without trying to scam you.
BEST APP EVER. If you are low income apply with your EBT card for awesome discounts! Thank you so much wheels staff and developers!
I don't like it it turns on on my phone and takes all my money but it doesn't turn the bike on every time I deal with this I lose out on hundreds of dollars
They have terrible customer service. Extremely difficult to find a human to help you plus the overcharge you making it ridiculous to find a place to.park. if you like virtually nonexistent customer service then this hustle is for you. I dont recommended. a monthly. Contract because if something goes wrong you can't reach anyone to help you. They need to be reported to the BBB. They ripped me off big time. As of this post no resolution from Wheelsco or refund my money renting me a bike that would
Great experience I just wish it was fully charged .Low battery makes the wheels run slower when we are charged by distance as nd speed
Im trying to charge bikes in Orlando. The map just keeps loading. you can't see anything on it. I refreshed it plenty of times and it just won't stop loading. It won't show any bikes
Saved lots of time atleast by 30 to 40 minutes compared to way longer on my endeavor also had fun doing it I was zipping!!!
It could be great... but there are a few issues that need to be fixed. So the app doesn't show any of the no-ride zones. It crashes constantly. If you have a subscription with unlimited rides you still get charged for rides. Bikes don't say battery level before you turn on bike. Customer service could be better and faster too. Other than that, the ride itself is much better, faster, and safer than the scooters. I truly hope they fix these bugs quickly because if not they are done for...
Transporter is fun, but the app is not! I was able to unlock a transporter easily enough, but immediately after unlocking, the app closed itself out to display my phone home screen. I rode it for less than 5 minutes, and the widget display was showing that I was still on a ride, but would not let me cancel the ride. The app itself would not allow me to cancel, nor did it give me the option to. I scanned the same transporter to unlock again so that I could cancel it. This process took 10 minutes
The experience was terrible and created a dangerous ride. I'm an experienced mountain biker of 20 years. The bike stops in bike lanes and requires you to ride in the left lane! This is really bad. If it could go at traffic speeds it would have e been safer but it would randomly go between 4 and 12 miles an hour on perfectly flat ground. Do not ride these!
