Downloaded the app to be able to see the list of employees and manually clock them in and out myself upon request like my coworkers on iPhones can do. It appears the Samsung version only has the time clock feature for them to punch in their numbers. I remember having this app 1yr+ ago and was able to access more, not sure what happened here.
EXCELLENT!!! AND FREE!!! WORKS GREAT!!! Could not be happier. Installed on an old kindle fire tablet (using the well documented workaround to load the Google play store on this device), mounted to the wall using a standard case and 2 screws, and now we have a dedicated free time clock terminal. Employees can clock in and out perfectly and quickly at the employee entrance. Reports are downloaded to excel which is exactly what we wanted. Zero technical issues after 2 weeks of use.
continually crashes and does not work. amazing potential but poor execution. figure it out!
Does not support Samsung devices. App does not apply permissions correctly. Tech support blames Samsung and Google. Just fix it or delete it from play store.
Logs out daily. I have to re-enter email and password

Very unreliable. Causes huge problems for our staff and management because it fails so often. Support from When I Work regarding this app has been dismal. They make promises of an upgrade that we doubt is actually coming. If you do not currently use When I Work, we recommend trying a different service first.
Staff can't make there own pins or get a email with a pin and doesn't take photos
When locked in terminal mode you can still access have bar and settings without pass word unlock. Any user can mess with settings and cause problems
Where did the Time & Attendance go ? Seeing actual Clock-In and Clock-Out in real time is very useful.
GARBAGE, WASTE OF COMPANY TIME. I've probably downloaded this app over 100 times because my company uses it to clock in and out. I can't recommend it to anybody as once a week you have to uninstall and reinstall for it to connect sometimes clear phones cache and memory, it causes a lot of wasted time at work. DO NOT DOWNLOAD AND USE ANOTHER APP IF YOU DON'T WANT TO WASTE TIME AT WORK. Recommend that we get a different app, so you will likely lose a paid subscriber due to your horribly built app. As a computer support company this barely qualifies as usable app, and does not look good as an app to use due to massive wasted time.
All I'm getting is a black screen and because of that it's messing up my payroll. I uninstalled now I'm getting some error, I need this app
After loading the app a black screen pops up. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling but no luck
I use this for work and have to uninstall and reinstall weekly due to never ending problems...which makes my time punches late for work and makes me look bad, like it's my fault. Wish my company would explore other possibilities. Very disappointed!!!!!
App blacks out completely and i cannot clock in or out so the app is basically useless when it does this
Does what it says. I like this version better than the green one because its straight to the point without all the extra features I don't use. I can clock in and out and check my punches. That's all I need.
This app constantly crashes, and I'm forced to uninstall it and reinstall it. Half of the time that does not even work. This app is terrible. I'm running it on a high-end Samsung tablet, and it is literally the only app used on the tablet.
It's not worth the headache look at the reviews and believe them most of us small business owners are not happy with this app it sounds good but it has to work payroll for hours work is a big thing and if you rely on this app to get you there you will be in hot water with the people who work with you because you can't pay them right because this app is not working 90% of the time
For as important as this app is, and as good of an idea as it is, the app is terrible, and had been mostly unusable for a long long time
Black screen that never loads. Uninstalled and reinstalled, same black screen.
App doesn't work on Android. Period. Dont tell me to contact your support, because they have no idea how to fix it either. After 3 days of back and forth they confirmed that it doesn't actually work but 'they are looking into it' and dont have any timeline for a fix. In other words 'go away, we dont really have an app'. Any wonder the ratings for this app keep dropping?
