Whisper

Still doesn't support accents or Unicode in general. It's slow, uses a lot of battery for basically nothing, pictures in posts must be 9:16 ratio or they will get weirdly cropped, chat notifications that when you click on them go to no chat, and the number of posts, hearts, and replies doesn't match their respective lists. Also, fix your bot problem, please.

The only negative, is that sometimes, when you delete a chat, it doesn't go away. I've deleted chats from months ago. But when I go to my chats, they'll pop right back up. It's kind of annoying. Lowering another two stars because of the ads. There are some ads that you try to back out of, but if you click the screen it instantly installs the app it's advertising. Freaking annoying.

I love the concept of Whisper, there's nothing like a good anonymous posting app. I just wish the execution was better. The app seems poorly designed and even basic functions like having in chat conversations appear in order, or having your heart count update in a timely manner. Another issue is the sheer amount of bots and scammers that use the app. This not only detracts from the experience but represents a direct threat to the safety and security of it's users.

My post isn't showing anywhere, it's says "somewhere". Tested it on different device I can confirm it's not posting anywhere even with search features. And also i can't receive any messages at all, on notification it says someone sent private message, but it's not there. It's really broken. Tried to uninstall and install it again, doesn't seems to fix the problem. It's been months I've waited dev to fix this, I've been using this app for years, I guess you lose another user.

The ads on this app are very annoying and interfere with the keyboard somehow...other than just being to close to it where you hit the ads accidentally when typing. Somehow this seems to be crossing over into interfering with unrelated apps although Google keyboard had an issue that resolved by rolling that back, it didn't solve all of it. When the ads get more intrusive the keyboard starts doing crazy stuff, when the ads are tamer the keyboard is fine. Can't explain it, it is what it is.

Should be a great time. Isn't. My whispers basically don't post. Maybe One out of every 10 attempts. Replies are fine, but this is honestly a serious bug that's been like this for waaay too long. And in other news, please make the chat a bit easier. Let links work, maybe throw in a voicenote capability, and allow copy/pasting and message deleting.

This app is so glitchy. Beyond the awful environment and lack of any kind of regulation, it constantly closes itself, stops working randomly, sends messages out of order, ect. Basically can't even use the app cause it just constantly closes itself.

The app was fine for ages, but in the past few updates messages no longer send in order. Leave a chat and come back and they're all shuffled, both from you AND your chat partner. Def isn't a phone issue, tried it on several different devices including tablets and even a pc running bluestacks, so Def app-side issue. Needs fixing asap

The developers really shot themselves I'm the foot with this one. Every time you have to re-download the app it wipes out your conversations and makes you start completely over. There's not even an option that I have found to recover previous accounts. Good job dipsticks. Your program and development department should be fired.

The app tries to keep it simple... Too simple... It's really hard to understand like what "closer" or "farther" actually means in the filters for Nearby. Would be nice to be able to drive the specific desired audience for each whisper

Not gonna lie, I've loved this app for a while, but one thing it's been doing lately that I can't seem to turn off without force closing is the random music playing. This is really irritating coming from an app named "whisper" 🤦🏼‍♂️

It's a good app simple to use but maybe a bit too simple. Gets quite buggy at times and can't open it. It needs an update for sure been months since I downloaded the app and there hasn't been one. Can you please fix the bugs😬 all in all not bad!!

I only gave it a four because there's always room for improvement. Also I do wish for a little more space for writing. Other then that , it's clean no glitch that I've seen. A fun place to drop random thoughts and personal quotes or questions for the universe to ponder . Also a place to argue with Ill informed people about the unimportant freely and without censorship which is great for those of us who have something say . Thanks to the development team you people are great.

Popup ads when you try to click on posts that always force you to the playstore and you can't skip. Broken features, half the user base being bots. Seems they don't care about this app and are squeezing as much revenue as they can now without any development.

I've been using whisper for many years and it keeps getting worse and worse. For almost a year now most posts don't really post they stay at 0 or 1 view and even if they did post because you get some replies or messages the views still remain at 0 or 1. Tried different accounts, different android phones same problem! Update my review to one start because now whisper has video ads that comes out of nowhere and always take u to Google play store and there isn't even an exit button with the ads!

Have used whisper for several years and the last several weeks nothing seems to load, I just see empty blank rectangles with a W in them where the image and text should be but nothing ever loads, even after refreshing, I tried on 2 separate devices with the same result.

I love this app as a true, "scream into the void" outlet. It helps me vent when I don't have someone to talk to. Of course, there are chaotic and toxic posts (and quite a few bots), but that comes with the territory of anonymous posting (so please know what you are getting into). There are gems out there, and I love the connection and the serendipity I find in random connections. Overall, I really enjoy this app for what it is.

Garbage in a nutshell. Download if you like talking to scammers, robots, and weirdos exclusively. And you cannot delete your chats, they will continue to pop back up in your inbox, no matter how many times you try to remove them. There is almost no feature which functions well, or as intended. The whole app is trash, is what I'm getting at. Maybe five years ago it was okay, not anymore though!

I really wish I could rate this a zero,there are just so many glitches.First of all i cant see the photos to schools from even though the app has access to it,it's just a white blank screen,after all this i can't save it at all ANYWHERE,not any single damn,it's damn useles.Please just download the font,the app is just unnecessary and absolutely useless

The app isn't what it used to be. Nothing ever posts into groups, the chat function is always broken, and some of the ads can be quite annoying and intrusive.

Until recently I would give it 2 stars, but a lot of the scammers seem to have either been dealt with or vanished which is positive. Nice way to chat anonymous to those around you or around the world. Wish the groups were a little better, and still scammers exist. Yet if you use it just to chat to those close by I am sure you will enjoy the app too.

Everything is good except for the private messaging it all goes out of order, don't think it's supposed to be that way but regardless it's annoying and hard to follow a conversation, looking for that message and figure out what you were talking about in the first place.

Ssive surge of seller scams. View count hasn't worked in months. Distance is completely screwed up. EVERYONE showing like they are in my city, yet before that shows, it has a large distance pop up.

I can't save/download my whisper posts in my phone. It doesn't let me download it at all. And also while selecting a picture from my gallery, none of my photos appear. Please try and fix this issue as soon as possible.

Screen for bots more. It's literally the most bit ridden app in history. Also the adds force sound even after you exit outta the app. You gotta close the app to get it to stop and even then it'll come back often.

This used to be one of the most unique and wildly entertaining apps. Now it's 95% spam accounts and the moderation seems to only target the real people posting. Update3/17/22: over a year ago you asked for suggestions o how t make it better. They were made. Whisper decided to put more adds and the spam accounts have officially taken the entire platform over. 5/2 They keep asking for suggestions. We keep making them and they do nothing. 👍
