Whispers from God - Christian Meditation

I love this app, it has a meditional message on almost all the books in the bible, and after that meditation it speaks the word which where the power comes from. The Pictures in the background is cool and meditations come separate from reading, (not separate from the word of God don't get me wrong). Only thing it might need is a clean guide to it's different functions. Thank God for this app

cannot say anything to the content, since I didn't get a chance to get there. as soon as I open the app, the screen just starts rotating, even with auto-rotate off. tried un- and reinstall, slightly better, but still same problem. when I finally was able to open meditation and got to choose one, it transfered me right to the finish screen, which I tried to close over and over again but would reappear instantly.

I like the app and the "meditations" are good, but they are all too short and the voices are not very soft and meditative, especially the sleep ones, they are too loud. However with that said there is a lot of good content and uplifting meditations. The prayers at the end of each one are very nice. I like all the different sounds you can pick and that the sounds will play all night.

ORIGINAL: I purchased the annual subscription and really enjoy the app minus the fact that a lot of the scenes do not work. Only the ones available on the free version and two that become available after purchase work properly. I have a Samsung 8. Please fix it, thank you.

I love the Whispers from God App. Easy to listen to voices, present short, Biblical based Scripture Meditations and Devotationals. It provides clear and easy to use Topics (22) you can choose from, eg anxiety/anger and lots more. As well as specific parts of the Bible, eg Old/New Testament. I love listening to the short daily Mediation, and then connecting with the 'Prayer Community', lead by Peter and Janny. This App allows me to spend deep, dedicated time with God each morning. 🙏 Thank you.

Very nice readings however the reader is too fast for certain reads and doesn't leave time (pauses after a thought placement) for listener thought or contemplation, especially essential for the sleep messages. Try to aim for a calming drawn out restful voice, good consideration for this goal at sleep time. REST requires relaxation. Have a listen to "calm" and learn this improvement. It will make all the difference. Lovely focus on our creator though. :)

I still appreciate this meditation after using it a long time. My thoughts are slowed to focus on God and His Word by the reading aloud of scripture, then the spoken devotional leads me to think more deeply on the verses. I use the beach scene so there is the soothing sound of waves crashing in the background. After the devotional is completed, the wave sounds can still be heard, helping me to remain focused on God and to continue in personal prayer. I recommend this app.

Your stories are great but way to short... I have a hard time falling asleep.. this app really help clams my mind. But, when im trying to fall asleep, I dont want to look at my phone every 5 to 9 mins to click on a different story. It defeats my purpose... the stories should be at least 60mins long. please make stories or bible reading audio longer or i have to find an new bedtime app... But... I love the format.

I love it, except the excerpts are too short, and it would be nice to have the option to automatically play the next meditation, so my sleep isn't interrupted. I also hoped to use it when driving, but it's too unsafe trying to click on things while driving. Please add this option.

This app is broken. I have tried to download it 4 times. It stops at 92% and then freezes. It does not continue to download. I have plenty of internal and sd memory on my phone, so that isnt the problem. This app just wont download after 92%. Then it will go back to install app like you never clicked on it in the first place.

Great when working which is not that often. Most times I get an error message to say can't load daily content. Have reinstalled to no effect. But when does work or listen to other content it's great.

I would have given 5 stars if the app didn't suddenly sign me out then changed available scenes on me from the one I usually have upon opening the app. I also had free access to everything but now I suddenly do not. I am really upset about this and if it isn't fixed soon, I will change rating to 1 star and leave. I have enough stress and anxiety without this app acting up on me.

Fantastic app! A variety of sounds to choose, including gentle ocean waves, rain, under the sea, wind, sounds of the forrest, peaceful music and more. The male and female voiceivers are easy to the ear. Meditations include readings from scripture, verses, and reflections. The Doctrine is sound. The information would be a trusted source for the Christian community. Check it out!

So far I really like this app, I fall asleep quickly and sleep pretty well, it is actually the only app I have ever wanted to purchase, however that price is way too steep and that is why I only give it 3 stars, otherwise I would probably give it 5 if they did a more realistic price. They have apps out there that you can pay $2.99 for lifetime access. And it saddens me that since this is supposed to be a Christian App that they wouldn't make it more easily affordable to everyone.

Listened to one and a half sessions. The voice used is very matter of fact, fast and just not engaging. She just grated on me. Just words thrown at you, with no opportunity for prayerful consideration during the set of clear precise statements. Not what i am looking for from a meditation app. There is so "selah" here. I understand that this isn't about emptying the mind but I think in this app, the pendulum has swung the other way so that it is near impossible to just sink into it.

Nice app but if you make the New and Old testament audible, I would pay the subscription. Thats the whole reason most people want the app, so someone can talk you through a meditation. The screens are great. You also would do well to add time to your audibles ... 2 to 3 minutes is not long and most need at least 5 to 10 min sermons. You are making good progress and I have enjoyed what you have done so far.

I previously gave this app 5 stars, before I realized it is only a FREE TRIAL. You can listen to 21 meditations before it ends. But the monthly fee is $8 and the annual fee is $40. That's a bit steep. So I'll be uninstalling, and it's really disappointing. They're not guided meditations in the sense I'm used to. Imagine bite sized sermons on scriptures related to the issue you're dealing with (anger for example).

I really like the meditations, sleep devotionals and beautiful scenes! My only complaint are the narrator talk very quickly and isn't relaxing. I would consider paying for more if the narrations were slower with more deliberate pauses and phrasing.

I LOVE this app! Only one problem, well two. I wish the Bible part was audible...but i love all the devotions. So many to choose from. The readers voices are very plesant. & i absoulutly love the live wallpapers...EXCEPT for the fact that i cant turn them off & they eat up my battery! I may have to take the app off because of this. Does anyone know how to stop them? Thanks

It is so easy to use. It is free and has in-app purchases. This app brings me calmness during anxious moments. Furthermore, it brings me to cross-reference passages with my Bible to highlight my favorites. This, of course, bringing me closer to whom I need to be looking to for during the storm.

This app has good content but that really doesn't matter when I can't hear the words because the sound of the ocean waves obscure the speaker. Too bad there is not a background sounds volume control!

This app is just amazing!!!! Reading and meditating on Gods word and the background music is just beautiful... perfect I really enjoy this and reading the bible through this app is so relaxing and peaceful cause can listen to the background music as well...

Its a great app that is bringing me closer to the Lord with meditation and sleep options. Everything is clearly laid out with soothing sound and background. Im going through a hard situation in life but this app has helped to calm my anxiety and focus more on the Lord for guidance and strength.

I absolutely love it. The verses are easy to understand although I wish I knew what version they use. The daily meditation is wonderful, sleep meditation could be random though.

I love the concept. I've been trying to learn how to meditate on God's word more. The speakers (I've only listened to a few so far)...all talk too fast for me and it's not very relaxing. Need that right now. I like the background pictures.

I love how meditative this is, but there are a few bugs, like the bible section not working and the background scenes. but other than that its a beautiful app. it reminds me a lot of the calm meditation app.

Absolutely beautiful app with so many Bible meditations to help with peoples' struggles, and it has beautiful scenery and sound (like ocean waves) in the background; so relaxing! Such a caring and prayerful online community in this app, also; so thankful for it! 🙏❤

I like you I use it over calm I would like to see when the word is spoken longer Abide does the thing on YouTube, and I use it because the word loops throughout the nite for about an hour ,I would like to see you guys do that with your background on, I go to sleep with the word on especially if you've had a stressful day it really helps, need to fix the backgrounds because they don't pop up when you tap on them and they don't show up so you need to work on your app, you need to lower the price.

This app helps me to fall asleep and stay asleep. In 9 days I only slept for 27 hrs. But Jesus is So Good because I have found this app and now can fall asleep faster and longer. I Love the beach one with the waves coming into the shore and out again. I have Also used the mountain scene with the birds chirping. Mother Nature with God's creation is Awesome! Love the variety of topics we can pick from and the calming background sound it has. I wish it had reminders of when to get or devotion. The journaling option is a bonus
